The Thousand Island sauce really sets it apart and offers a nice change of pace from traditional pizza. I was disappointed to find out I missed the Full Rack collaboration with the Alabama white sauce and brisket, but maybe it will come back one day. In 2024 and 2025, Johnny Z's brought it back, collaborating with Full Rack Barbecue instead. I've also tried the cheese bread and the boneless wings. I've had the cheese bread twice now, and it's about what you'd expect it to be. I will say, the first time I had it was better than the second. I recommend getting the garlic butter dip. As for the wings, they were just okay, but I'd be willing to give them another try. All things considered, Johnny Z's is a solid, local pizza place, and is better than your typical pizza chain.
