Really good fudge. Melts in your mouth. Wish it wasn't so expensive. But like everything these days I guess the prices keep going up. #bestsweetsattheshore

This Fudge Kitchen wasn't as large as the one in Cape May, but I really did enjoy the fudge I purchased. I bought a 1/2 lb for about $8. I chose Snickers, Rocky Road, Chocolate Chip, and Dark Chocolate Chunk. My tastebuds were pleasantly surprised by the Snickers flavor. I didn't think Rocky Road was anything to write home about. Chocolate Chip was amazing, but Dark Chocolate Chunk was the real winner. Love those chocolate chips! The service was good, and I was able to purchase a water bottle to quench my thirst. I think the owner waited on me. I'd return next time I need to get my fudge fix at the beach!

Making fudge at the Stone Harbor location!

Omg, so in Cape May, in Wildwood, in Stone Harbor! They are everywhere and I loooove the samples. I always go in to try others and my favorite is always the salted caramel one. To die for, to die for, to die for! The first time around hubby and I bought 2 pounds and ate everything in 2 days so now we just buy it by 1/4lb which works much better for our sweet teeth. I am glad not to live on the Shore because I would have a very unhealthy addiction to these amazing treats...

The only place to get a small portion of overpriced mid fudge. Don't expect a sweet treat.

The fudge is really good. If you have a nut allergy, stay away from this place. My poor daughter can't have any of the fudge or taffy.

We all have our favorites but honestly we all agree that they are the best donuts we have known. Yes, the line is long and difficult on hot summer mornings and for reasons to unbeknownst to most of us, the shop refuses to install air-conditioning on the inside, and they only take cash, but it is still worth the effort for the deliciousness inside. The baked goods are all top shelf and the staff are all friendly notwithstanding the heat they are working in.

I really like Douglas better I like their caramel fudge and chocolate coconut fudge so much. I asked if there were any specials and I was told that if you bought 2 pounds of fudge, you would get 1 pound for free. I said "wow I couldn't eat all that! The lady behind the counter let me know that the fudge freezes well. Unfortunately, I let her know that when I froze the pumpkin fudge, it tasted awful when I took it out of the freezer. I wasn't sure if it was something up with the pumpkin purée and the lady asked me how I froze it and I told her I took the pie plate itself, unopened, and I put it in a Ziploc bag. She explained that that is the wrong way to freeze it that you really have to make sure to get all the air out and wrap it in pieces of wax paper and then put it in a ziplock in the freezer. She also stressed that fudge should not be refrigerated. I told her that the pumpkin fudge I had I was only pretending to eat it. I would take a little bit and then throw it in the trash, so my husband thought I was eating it so he wouldn't be upset about the money being wasted. I'm presuming the lady behind the counter was the owner, manager, or the proprietor? She asked the young girl to give me a pie plate of pumpkin fudge which was free of charge. That was for sure an r expected kindness I won't ever forget! That blew me away! I already spend money at Douglas, but this puts it head and shoulders above any other Fudge place at the shore for me- they just ensured my loyalty! I really thought that was an excellent business move, and it restored my confidence and I will likely buy fudge to freeze since now I know how to do it properly. I enjoy shopping in the store because it is so pretty how everything is spaced out and sorted and it's organized and clean. It's a great shopping experience. The girls behind the counter are friendly and I love going to Douglas fudge when I'm in stone harbor .
