In the mood for a sesame bagel, I stopped in here for the first time on Tuesday at around 8:45 a.m. The were about four to five employees behind the counter. I asked them if they had whitefish, and they did. I ordered a sesame bagel, and a small tub of whitefish. The young woman behind the counter asked me if a wanted my bagel sliced in half. She was pleasant, and included napkins and silverware in the bag. The store looked clean. Three people came in after me. The employees were quick in getting out the orders. I rated the restaurant a four, because I like bagels and whitefish salad better from other places. But, this store is close to me, and an easy drive. Pike Creek Shopping Center's parking is so spectacular to me. I can park nice car in the middle of the parking lot with no one parking next to me and dinging my car. read more

This place sucks. The only reason we go there is because it's 3 minutes from our house. The bagels are never fresh, always stale, they mess up our order and the wait is always extremely long. Bagels to cream cheese ratios are not consistent and you can tell the maker was rushed. The croissants are delicious though. read more

I wish I could rate this better, I really could. We made this our one Delaware stop on our trip from Philly to Baltimore. I ready reviews and felt confident in getting a good bagel from here. I was sadly disappointed. The bagels are DENSE. Crust is good, but man my jaw got a workout just eating it. I got a plain bagel with lox spread because that is what I get at newer bagel shops and what I base my opinions on. I thought it was just my bagel, but my boyfriend got a a breakfast sandwich and his egg bagel was the same, SUPER dense. The positives though were the lox spread (very generous on the amount and very delicious with good chunks of lox in it), watching the team at the back work endlessly to get orders through, and parking (plenty of it). There were a lot of people there so ordering ahead or at non-rush times would be best. read more

As a result of the pandemic, I starting increasing my variety of restaurants I virtually frequented via DoorDash and this place was in that category. I had never been here before but am so glad I found it! Their breakfasts are delicious! They have hard to find (in Delaware) options like bagels and lox and a wide variety of bagel types. They are more than generous with cream cheese (reminds me of the amount of spread you get at a NY cafe)! I have not yet tried their sandwiches or burgers yet, but am looking forward to doing so soon! My only menu suggestion would be to add blueberry muffins, but just because I love them :) I definitely recommend you try this place if you haven't! Such a pleasant surprise!! read more

We moved to Pike Creek back in April, and decided to try this place a couple of times for breakfast, and man were we sold... QUICKLY. They are fast, their sandwiches and bagels are delicious, and their employees are really, really nice. I work in public safety, and I will sometimes grab a dozen bagels on my way into the station for us to cook up and make sandwiches with on our own some mornings, and the people that I work with have never once been disappointed with the quality of what we get here. They have some locations all over Newark, and you should not pass any of them up. read more

If you order online and you don't remind them 3 times of your order number, it'll sit on the counter until you're the last one in there waiting for it to be called out. (40 minutes) They need a better take out system, an organized take out system, instead of taking 100 orders at once, they need to slow down and take a breath. Also, I will mention that during the height of covid it was still rather busy and they didn't regulate how many people could stand inside this tiny building... so you had at least 20 people standing in there at any given time and if you've ever driven past or been inside this place... you already know what I'm talking about. Packed like sardines. Just an ode to how good they are but they definitely need a stern voice in there to command the kitchen and the waiting area. read more

The bagels and service is great, 5 stars, but I had to stop buying my bagels here as the manager rarely wears a mask. Been there a half dozen times and watch the gentlemen stock, refill coffee makers and prep food while not wearing a mask.
