I would not recommend moving here. I have had constant problems with them. Calling my phone,…read moreemailing me. My dog had moved in with us back in May and I gave them the verification of all his vaccines his breed, but they said that they couldn't process his breed because he's a mix and I've been waiting on the vet to send me a letter stating what breed he is and they won't stop blowing up my phone they won't be calling my boyfriend they will send us emails constantly about it. They also have been watching us walk into our apartment with our dog multiple times on multiple occasions. I don't feel comfortable even living here anymore to the point where I'm not wanting to even stay in the apartment anymore. We were going to extend our lease but now I'm getting to the point where I don't even want to extend our lease anymore. Due to the fact that I am having a leasing office watch my every move. Also maintenance is not good on keeping up with everything we have had multiple issues with windows or holes in my ceiling and it took them over three weeks to come and fix the holes in my ceiling or the windows are still not fixed even though they said are fixed. Or when I had an issue with my roommate moving out and my boyfriend moving in they would not stop constantly blowing my phone up stating that my roommate did not come back in and sign papers stating that she's being removed from the lease even though I have no contact with her anymore. They threaten you so many times was saying that they're going to give you a lease violation if you don't come and do this or an eviction notice. I recommend never moving into this apartment complex ever and if you do good luck with you

Money from large donations were put into sprucing up the common areas to attract new tenants. You are offered an inadequate continental breakfast 5 mornings a week. My loved one has been eating the same oatmeal and a half a bagel for years. There is a charge for eggs or pancakes. You also receive only 2 free dinners a month offered Monday through Thursday only. Kitchen help and food is from a Kosher Catering off sight service. My loved one has experienced abusive treatment by one of their servers twice. It was reported and this server remains employed. Food is very expensive and hit or miss. For what they charge you can do much much better elsewhere.

And when I asked Alexis (who thinks she is better then everyone else..worst customer service in my entire life) she spoke down to me. I own a business and would never have someone like her working for me. Months prior to all of this happening I had called and asked about a one bedroom and Alexis told me verbatim ..they had no one bedrooms available and Knollwood doesn't like to "downgrade" people. I later found out there were 2 one bedroom apartments available. I am now glad she forced me out, I bought a beautiful condo. I will detour anyone from moving into that complex.

Dana and Scott specifically are great with finding leasing options in addition to when living here always approachable for any questions. Scott is always on top of maintenance (usually within a day) which is very uncommon for most apartments. The staff is very well organized and on top of things. The apartments themselves are great units, never had any issues with living inside. The only drawback I have is the trash dumpsters that can get overfilled. Other than that I don't have any negative feedback. The unit is very well insulated, sometimes you can hear other neighbors but it is rare. The pool area is great and provides a chill atmosphere.

Updated review: Overall good place to stay, but it's pretty pricey for apartment living in the area…read more- compares to condo pricing in the area. Pros: Complex is fairly new (built in 2017 I believe) and they recently built another building. They offer locker services for packages as of July 2019, although I keep getting errors when I try to set up my account. The apartments look amazing inside and have updated features for the most part. There's an outdoor pool area and small gym in the inside. Cons: 1. (January 2019) The lease signing process is a pure headache. The first apartment I came to see had cosmetic damage to the appliances and a counter door off the hinges, on the day I was supposed to sign my lease. When I asked about the options for appliances to be swapped out I was told the appliances would not be swapped for cosmetic damage because it's considered normal ware and tear. Due to the floor plan being an open floor plan that was unacceptable, but of course there were more expensive options available, but the Property Management team made no effort to honor the price for the original apartment I applied to. 2. (Updated July 2019) During the winter there was a few weeks where the trash situation got completely out of control - not only was it very dangerous to attempt to take out the trash because the ice in the walkway wasn't melted, but there was trash overflowing in the dumpsters for several days. 3. (Updated July 2019) These are outside apts so no elevator to get to the top level floors (3rd floor) and there's exactly 20 steps to get to each level, (so 40 steps to get to the 3rd floor) it's a pain carrying groceries for sure.
