I'm actually shocked at any/all of the negative reviews of the Orpheum! We've been traveling up here from Scottsdale for years now and ALWAYS have a great experience! Staff is friendly, served us right away and were super nice. We just saw Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness last week and the sound/stage were PERFECT!!! We've also come here for film fests and other concerts (Pepper for one) and it's always awesome. Look forward to our next jaunt up to Flag for a show here!!

Dishonest about ticket prices. Signs outside the door for their Pride After Party stated a $15 cover charge. The cover was actually $18. I paid with cash and pointed out that it's pretty misleading to have the sign advertise the wrong ticket price. The person at the box office said it was fees for printing tickets and taxes. So it's not a cover it's a ticket fee. They really should be more honest about their ticket prices.

I've been to a multitude of events at The Orpheum- performance art acts, NAU university activities, Adult Prom two years in a row, and handfuls of concerts, whether it be smaller, local bands or HUGE bands such as Modest Mouse and Tegan and Sara. Overall, I think it's a great venue, but a few improvements would make it incredible. Pros: intimate space gives you the ability to get close with the acts that you love, good sound system, cool rafter seats, you can sit or stand depending on preference, cool atmosphere and historic space. Cons: can get super hot in the venue, especially in the summertime, bar is pricey (but what concert venue isn't?) and can have long wait times. I love the downtown location and the fact that you can walk to a myriad of restaurants or bars before or after a performance. Thank you, Orpheum, for great memories!

What a great venue! The staff was efficient and friendly and the show was amazing, and the bathroom was pretty clean! Can't wait to come back for another show.

I love this music venue! It is nice and intimate and there is not a bad spot in the place to watch live music. Beware- the bar has a $10 minimum for credit cards and $.50 service charge for every transaction. You may just want to bring cash to avoid those pitfalls.

If you're looking for fancy & latest, this is not your place. This place is cozy, intimate and quaint. The sound was fine, nothing fancy but it got the job done. We saw Blue October and sat in the theatre seats. It was nice and comfy with plenty of leg room.

Some really good bands are booked here and the venue could be great, but the acoustics or the sound system or both are not up to par. Still it's the only game in town and we always have fun, just don't expect a great concert experience. They need to do better by the acts they book.

The views from the back of the lodge are breathtaking. There is an area where wedding ceremonies take place that looks out into the beautiful mountains. It really is gorgeous. The main hall is a nice size. You can easily fit 150 probably up to 250. I am not sure what the actual limit is. Or friend's wedding had just over 100 and there was a ton of room. During the rehearsal (3pm) and on the night of the wedding, there were deer that came down into the fields....so beautiful. The staff said they deer are regularly there every afternoon. The Food Our friend's wedding was buffet style and the food was good. We had a chicken Alfredo pasta, salad, mac and cheese, and bread service. There was a cash-only bar that according to my wife, had good drinks. The Staff The only member of the staff that I worked with was Linda. She was amazing and was so patient with our party. I believe she is one of the head members at the Elk's club, and she really just tried to make the best out of every situation on the day of the wedding. We had a few schedule issues that came up and she did great working with all the different personalities. Overall, depending on the vibe you are looking for with your event, the Elks Lodge is a good choice. There is a ton of parking, the offer food and all of the table and chair rentals are included.

Little America Hotel - Double room

    Little America Hotel

My overall rating for Little America Hotel Flagstaff is 3 stars…read more I want to start by saying that overall, many of the staff were kind, and I've stayed at this property multiple times before with good experiences. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the beds and pillows are amazing, and the views of the Coconino Forest are beautiful. I also really enjoy the heated pool, the walking trails, and how convenient the location is to nearby stores, gas stations, food, and the highway. However, this stay started off on a rough note during check-in and unfortunately impacted my overall experience. When I approached the front desk, the representative (I believe his name was Hudson) had just been warm and friendly with the guests ahead of me. But when it was my turn, his entire demeanor shifted. I greeted him politely, introduced myself, and asked how he was doing--he didn't acknowledge my greeting at all. He became very robotic, avoided eye contact, and rushed through the process in a way that felt uncomfortable and dismissive. The interaction continued to feel tense. He spoke quickly, made assumptions about my payment method, and presented documents to sign without explanation or engagement. The only time he made eye contact was when emphasizing rules about no smoking and no pets. I had previously called to confirm that I could bring my cat, who is an emotional support animal, and was told that would be allowed with documentation. When I explained this, he became agitated and insisted I must have spoken to a third party, implying the information I received wasn't valid. After requesting a manager, the situation shifted, and I was eventually allowed to proceed with a one-time fee instead of a nightly charge. However, the interaction felt unnecessarily difficult and uncomfortable. What made this experience more concerning was something I observed after checking in. When I connected to the TV system, I noticed that one of the device names visible on the network included a racial slur. Guests do not have the ability to rename these TVs--they are pre-programmed--so this is something that had to come from within the organization. That was extremely upsetting and unacceptable to see in a professional environment. It's 2026, and people are still out here using racial slurs, spreading hate instead of love and kindness. I'm not interested in being in environments that feel stuck in the past. I want to be around warm, welcoming, modern people who choose unity over division. This is the main reason I cannot rate this stay higher. While I understand that not everyone reflects this behavior, it raises serious concerns about oversight and accountability. Management should be more attentive to what is happening within their establishment, especially when it comes to creating a respectful and inclusive environment for all guests. It's disappointing because I've enjoyed staying here in the past. However, based on this experience, I don't feel comfortable returning and will choose to spend my money elsewhere moving forward.
