Coach Julie is the BEST trainer I have ever worked with, period. I have worked with several trainers over the last decade and Julie shines above the rest for several reasons. I found Julie through a kettlebell course she taught at the gym. I decided to stick with her not just because she emphasized good form, but simply because I felt comfortable in her class. She meets you where you are and that is the base from where you build. I've done both small group and private sessions with Julie and I can tell you that this former weakling is getting strong! So much of it is because of correct form, but a lot of it is also due to Julie challenging me to push a little harder... I'm now a huge fan of kettlebells and strength training. I practice the sets she taught me on my own but it was always great to meet up so that she could correct and tweak my form. I recently wore out my elbow a little and Julie was able to modify my workouts to help rebuild strength. It made such a big difference and my elbow is healthy again! She does a full initial session to get a sense of your goals and how your body works at the beginning and then every session with her she is checking to make sure you're working hard and progressing without pushing you past your body's limits. Coach Julie is awesome! I did online training with her for six months because we are in different states. Wasn't sure what to expect from online training but I cannot be happier with this experience. She helped me set concrete goals, created workouts that I could access from an app and helped me keep track of progress with calls, texts, and video chats. In addition to workouts she taught me about nutrition and supplements to compliment my workouts when I felt I wasn't making the progress I wanted. She even held my feet to the fire when I started slacking and told her what I needed was someone to hold me accountable. The convenience of being able to workout when it fit in my schedule was priceless and she even created workouts for me when I was on vacation and wouldn't have regular access to a gym. The distance only became an issue when I wanted to give her a hug for all the hard work we've done and the progress I've made.
