Well, look no further. This no-frills steakhouse specializes in dry aged beef, is James Beard award winning, has great cocktails, and still serves you a relish tray while you wait for your meal. For those of you under the age of 35, a relish tray, often consisted of carrots, celery, pickles, and cubed cheddar cheese like this one. They also will bring you some bread and butter if you would like. In my opinion, you should definitely opt for the tenderloin, but I'm not sure there is a bad steak option on the menu. They also have seafood and even sandwich sandwiches including a burger so there's something for everyone! It's family friendly and although the decor will remind you of your grandma's house, no grandparent I have ever met could put out steaks like this. Visit the ice cream capital of the world and make sure to save room for a steak!

A nice place. Service was some of the best I've ever had. Food was solid, but not the best. I will…read moresay that I think it is as good as I expected it to be, but I always hope it'll be better thus I am not leaving a 5-star review. Fried pickles spears with the rock n roll sauce were great. I wouldn't have ordered these except my server recommended them out of all the apps, so I went with that. Fried things at places like this usually lack flavor and are just salty, fried bar food. These had some kick. The rock n roll sauce was like a Mayo with Frito's Chili Cheese Twists, so they were yummy. Tilapia on wild rice was ok, but it's tilapia, so how amazing can it be, right? Broccoli wasn't too over cooked and it still had a healthy green color, so I was happy with that. And the fries were a tad greasy, but they came out hot and crunchy. I think if they let the oil drain off them a bit more under a heat lamp, they'd hold their crispness a bit longer. Oh, and it was an entire plate of fries, so portions were generous. Lastly, everything was served very quickly. The place wasn't super-busy, but it wasn't dead and I was happy about the timeliness. I ordered an app first then placed an order for my entree after munching on that. And I was out done in 45 minutes. Granted, I was eating alone, but still. If you enjoy meat, I highly recommend giving this place a shot. I am a pescatarian (mostly vegetarian) and I have a sneaking suspicion that their beef and chicken options have much more developed flavors.

This is indeed a Mid restaurant…read more Small town opinion is that it's a great addition to a dwindling selection of variety. Big city folk opinion is that it's trash. Over all? 4/10. The fries were good, the reviews with 3 stars are pretty spot on. I came in on a Wednesday night, the restaurant was reasonably busy, I asked for the Birria nachos, and a side of fries. The nachos were ironically dry, the cheese hardened in seconds to the construction paper under, there was no flavor which I tried to help with more cheese dip (didn't work). The server came over and asked how I was enjoying it, (I'd eaten less than 6 nachos at this point) I said "it's unappetizing, I can't eat this, I'm sorry, it's just not very good" She took the plate, but made me pay for a terrible dish. That was hardly eaten. I tried to make it appetizing in order to eat it and not waste it, but 2 chips from there I was done. I finished the fries and left hungry. You have A LOT OF INEXPERIENCED SERVICE PEOPLE HERE. I did not see a single adult in the restaurant. No one of age to run the staff, check on food, check on customers, run plates, or help with the over all atmosphere. This is why the customer service is suspect, they don't want to pay to have a competent adult running the place. It's "small town good" but not for anyone from somewhere with much better places available. (The prices were a tad high for the lack of ability to create worth while dishes.)

The flower centerpieces look great but block your view of the petson across from you. the flower portion just pops off, don't worry you didn't break it. The drinks are in fancy vessels. for appetizers I got to try one crab Rangoon, I sure would have liked a couple more. the guacamole was wonderful. for a meal I had the combination fried rice. it was excellent, I added little sweet chili sauce. my husband had the spicy shrimp dish and enjoyed it. I dipped a finger in the sauce, it was tasty. Brother in law had the cheesy shrimp, said it was very cheesy. I saw some folks getting the skewers and they looked phenomenal. the graduate got a fancy dish served in a pineapple. the servers were great. I'm just not sure if she used table numbers, as there was confusion as to what tables food went to. Otherwise service was great. I didn't hear any complaints. the bathrooms don't have the opulent vibe that the restaurant has. I think it still has a Hispanic theme to it. prices were reasonable for a fancy shmancy place. I hope to go back when we visit family again.
