My husband had the salmon entree and I had the fish and chips. Both were good - about on par with good pub fare or a bit better. Our server was the only one working and she did a great job making the long trek from the kitchen to the front porch where we, and other parties, were seated. Sitting on the porch we had lovely views of the Tred Avon River. It was a quaint experience. We couldn't help but notice that The Robert Morris Inn is for sale. Hopefully the new owners will be able to refresh it a bit to attract the next generation while of course maintaining the historic integrity of the 300+ year old building.

You can sign up at the front desk for your session. The pool is another amazing amenity on the property to add to relaxation and fun. In the morning, there is a continental breakfast prepared. You are able to take your coffee and/ breakfast to any of the seating options. I found some really comfortable couches outside that were perfect to wake up to. They supply a bunch of community games as well. The room I stayed in was was on the smaller side. However, it didn't impact my stay. The bed was comfortable! The room was clean. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Like I said, I'm making another trip back but this time with my family and I can't wait to show them around and have a fun and peaceful weekend with them as well.

Noise from the rooms on both sides and from the room above carries almost as if there were no sound insulation at all. Every conversation, door closing, footstep, and movement can be heard, making it nearly impossible to relax or sleep. I've stayed in everything from budget motels to luxury hotels, and this has been the worst overall lodging experience I've had. If getting a good night's sleep before 2:00 a.m. is important to you, I cannot recommend this property.
