Morning two eggs or pumpkin pancakes. Both were great. Only negative was the shower in our room. It was a stall shower, which we knew, but the water pressure was terrible. It also took about 10 minutes to come to a warm temp, I felt bad running the water that long. All and all great stay. I'd 100% suggest this place for a weekend getaway.

Before we left I planned a surprise sailing cruise for my fiancé and Aida left a sweet note about the gift from me and vouchers for complimentary gelato around the corner for us. She is so accommodating even when a few little things didn't go as planned for us. (Car trouble, weather... not her doing at all but she made them easier to manage.) She has great suggestions for what to do in St. Michael's. Breakfast was set up beautifully in the morning and cooked to order. Portions were huge if you wanted them. We are lighter eaters and once I told her that she gave us perfect smaller portions, but if you want a big breakfast you will not be disappointed here. The inn only has about eight rooms, and each is different. Ours was very comfortable with flowers, art and antiques wherever I looked. There's central air and the softest towels I think I've ever used. She lets you keep stuff in the fridge and even said we could use her laundry when my fiancé sat on something and messed up his pants. We had leftovers when we needed to leave and she gave us a styrofoam cooler to take with us... that will be used a lot this summer, I'm sure. The location is walking distance to most things in town, so while there is off street parking, we walked most of the time. You can't go wrong here with Aida's Victoriana Inn! Note, though, a lot of businesses and restaurants in town are operating at partial capacity or reduced hours, or are closed due to Covid 19. This has nothing to do with the Victoriana Inn, but it is worth calling ahead if you have specific things you want to do while in town to make sure they're available. We had to shift some dining plans but it was a last minute getaway and we didn't care all that much. It a worked out but if you have your heart set on something, check in advance to make sure you'll be able to do it.

The rooms were perfectly fine and clean but the whole hotel could probably use a facelift. Also, we were awoken both nights by loud slamming doors and dogs barking down the hallway.

Two highlights of our trip were a visit to the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center and a sightseeing cruise from Coastal Cruises who were docked at the hotel!

My friends and I had an incredible time at the Hyatt Place for our Medieval Times/Ren Faire…read moreweekend. We got a standard room with two queen beds. When we checked-in we learned that there were three weddings happening that weekend. The people working the front desk were beyond kind and helpful. We ended up with a highway view room, but we didn't mind because there were enough common spaces to see the water. We had a delicious lunch at Fisherman's Crab Deck next door. My dad then picked us up at the docks at this Hyatt on his boat which was so easy an amazing. The room itself was just what we needed. It even had a pull out couch. The only complaint was that the bathroom didn't have a fan and steamed up really quickly and the AC was a bit weaker than expected. The water pressure was really strong and nice. It was enough space for four people for a night. Parking was easy to find. And the morning breakfast had a lot of great options. I especially loved that they had oak milk. I would stay at this Hyatt Place again and recommend it!

The continental breakfast was adequate and appreciated the fresh fruit ... and outdoor seating was perfect. We enjoyed pleasant morning walks around the marina, over the drawbridge, and through some of the nearby neighbourhoods. We had a nice snack on the outdoor seating of the nearby restaurant on the property. All the staff we encountered ... front desk, reservations, and housekeeping were pleasant, friendly, and informative. We would definitely return if we were in this area again!

We found Knapps on the Saturday night, and let me tell you-we wished we had found it on the Friday (that's a whole nutha review). From the moment we pulled in, we knew we'd found a winner. I was received at the front office by the friendliest person with incidentally fantastic golden hair! He was warm and professional and delightfully there was one room left! We had a 3rd floor spot with a beautiful view of the Bay. We were both impressed with not only the spaciousness of the room, but the calm, just really crisp and pretty decor. It was bright and inviting...just really sunny. If you find yourself deciding on spots for a lovely, relaxing stay, Knapps is a wonderful option!

It was the open door kind of hidden around a bush. Sent there and waited for Brenda. She was kind. Went to get the owner Paul because I mistakenly booked two rooms. He said it was no problem, he could fix it. Gave us the password to the wifi and our key. He told us that we could cast the game onto a tv if we needed to. Awesome! We bought two bottle koozies which, if you don't bring any- this is a must for a hot day. There are maybe 10 rooms to stay in. It's motel style, your door opens to the outside. Our room was super clean. #5. And opened to a sandy area and a volleyball net. A couple groups of Adirondack chairs in the sand. A couple fire pits also. This place is very cool! It's on the water of the Chesapeake Bay. You can drive here or boat here. There are 4 bars. 3 are outside, 1 inside. Although I'm not sure why. They're all very close to each other. Live music today (Sunday) 2p-6p Also on Friday and Saturday While at the bar outside we ordered fried green beans that came with a spicey dip- and were given a small pager that told us when our food was ready - IT WAS delicious! We started a tab at an outside bar and were told that we could order at any of the 4 bars. We went inside when a baseball game was about to start. They have no baseball game channels. Jake tried to help us for a few minutes but got frustrated and walked away. I'm not sure where that went wrong. While inside at the bar we ordered food. Cheeseburger and fries, and wings. Both delicious. Still no game. It was on direct tv. Jake didn't know the password. After a lot of signal searching on my cellphone. (No signal at the inside bar) we found a friend that gave us their log in to direct tv. This is a cozy little local spot. I'd compare the stay to a cottage at a camp ground. It was clean and close to the bar. Walking distance. To sum it up. It was a new experience. A fun stay. Everything except that 4 inning bump in the road when Jake made us feel like we were bothering him.

The room was like stepping back in time (in the best way), and still infused with all the modern day amenities, and was equipped with thoughtful toiletries, so alike bathrobe, and a working fireplace! The owner knew our names, met my husband in the drive, offered me a ginger ale because I was not feeling well, coffee station stocked when I woke up (7am), I could go on and on about how thoughtful and sweet our stay was. But what you REALLY need to know is DO NOT skip on the breakfast! Holy moly! I won't ruin it for you, except to say just do it! Absolutely delicious! You'll thank me later. I promise.

The home is centrally located and very clean. My room was well appointed, the bed was VERY comfortable and the bath was of good size. The breakfast was amazing and I will have to ask for the recipe of the dutch-baby with fresh peaches. I saw a few bikes on the front lawn that I assume are for the guests to borrow. First time reviewer. Several issues with this place…read more 1: please call ahead if you are checking in early or want to leave your bags here. We arrived at 1 to drop off our bags and had to call to be let in. The on site person wasn't on site and we waited about ten mins then decided to leave our bags in the lobby. 2: the on site person was not there at 3:00. We had to wait until about 3:10 then the on site person didn't have their computer to check us in. The on site person didn't know our code for the front door and it took us asking about 4 times to finally get a code to the front door. 3: the house is cold. There are space heaters everywhere in the house, which helps, but I am not paying $400 a night to stay in a cold house. I will not be staying here again.
