The two employees working the day I went into the Paint Store were snobby and rude. I would think it would be more profitable to educate a customer than trying to humiliate one. I spent a considerable amount more than I had originally planned at a store I found online. The gentleman who helped me took the time and effort to explain what I needed (including being CA compliant materials). Had a no-nonsense customer service experience here. Was informed that they have been operating for 40 years here! Came in for some aerosol cans to start my weekend project to respray my car's fender. For a small service fee, they had made me a custom aerosol can specific to my vehicle paint code! This is a rare and well sought-after service! I've been coming to this store for a little over seven years now. I work at an auto repair shop in close proximity. Every time I have a small project that doesn't require a painting booth, I come here to get all my supplies. I've always received great customer service by Candy and her team of employees. They've always guided me the right direction when it comes to the products I should use and they also given me tips on how to do it. This past week I stopped by the store to get some paint and supplies but they didn't have the products that I needed on the shelves so I asked if they had some in storage. The gentlemen (new employees) at the counter, without making eye contact (appeared to be looking at his phone), told me to use another similar product. I already knew what I wanted but it appeared that I was just being an inconvenience. No one else at the store just me and the two guys behind the counter. As I realized that they both lack customer service knowledge I decided to look for the product elsewhere. I like this store but I'm in no rush, I can wait 2-3 business days. Update: Soon after I posted this review I was contacted by Candy (store manager) and she apologize for what had happened. I was glad that she was able resolve this at the store so no more customers and potential customers get the same experience. Thank you. read more

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. Can do a full color match for $25 to any color, but also can use other resources to get a match for zero cost, which I used on my 1979 Honda MC. Honest staff with cost saving ideas, Willing to take the time to talk with novices, but you'll see a lot of pros coming here as well. They don't have every product made, just the quality ones that work for the right price. Most times I've come here, there is a owner of a high end custom vehicle getting supplies. This is the only place to get color matched paint in spray cans.. I have bought paint to repair plastic fairing on my GSXR and the blue was a perfect match. I also bought paint for my jeep as it is two tone and no one carries the paint color. This place is the only place I can find to color match paint in spray cans.. Had a really scratched up bumper but the rest of my older car looked great so I thought I'd try a little DIY repair. I went to a national chair auto parts store and asked about matching paint and the guy sent me to this store. Also asked an auto body where they recommend I go and they also told me about this place. I walked in and was helped by a great guy (forgot his name) and he was very knowledgable. I like taking on projects by myself and had watched some youtube videos on removing a bumper, sanding and painting it and had a basic knowledge of what I wanted, but found the guys here helpful without making me feel like an idiot. Within 10 minutes I left with a spray can with my car's factory color, some 600 grain sandpaper, a primer and a glossy sealer. I give this place five stars because they definitely seem like they know what they're doing, they do a good job helping you figure out exactly what you need, and they can mix the paint while you wait. I definitely recommend this little shop to anyone wanting to do some DIY car scratch/paint repair. read more

Worthless! I called at 11:50 asking if they had por 15. The guy said yes. Asked what time they closed and he said 12:00. I told him I was coming from the 5 at Camino cap and told him I would hurry. I walked up to the door right at 12:00. Sign said closed already. Knock on the window and a lady looks up at me and just throws her hands up in the air and shrugs her shoulders. I will never purchase anything from this store. Hence the time of the review. At 12:05. I'm sitting in their parking lot. What an absolute worthless business and customer service mentality. I went here so that I could repair a couple bumpers DIY at home. The staff were extremely helpful (even for a novice like myself). They helped me pick out the right products. Pricey vs other "as seen on tv" products like dr color chip and the like. They will even put the OEM color match color in a spray can for for Around $25. read more
