Decided to give this place a try after reading reviews. So very disappointing and that's putting it lightly. I have a normal place I go and I was in a bind so I booked online. The place was cute and I was really looking forward to my spray tan. Allison was who I booked with. For the owner of this place I found her to be nice but as if me getting my tan was a nuisance. I thought ok.....I'll over look it because I am happy to get my tan. Wrong. The spray gun was clogged or something I now look as if I have freckles everywhere and a very uneven an inconsistent tan. Normally my transition areas are for the most part flawless where I go and for doing it as long as she has I thought she would also be knowledgeable on how to do so. Again wrong. I paid her and even tipped her very well. Not even a thank you. When I left I called her about the inconsistencies and from my previous tan that I scrubbed off and explained to her I didn't look covered. She did offer to re spray if I came back. I reminded her that she had put powder and and she basically said she forgot she had done that and I was out of luck until I shower. Definitely not worth the $100 I spent. Word to the wise...go elsewhere if you don't want to look like spotty dotty and get what you want. Worst tan I have ever had. read more

I came to get a airbrush tan for my birthday trip to Vegas and it could not have been a more pleasant experience! The shop is adorable, decorated well, and felt just like home. I loved the heated airbrush, kept me warm even when I was baring it all. My tanner was so kind and helpful, she quickly got me into positions to get a perfect tan and contoured my body to perfection. She was efficient and quick, and the whole experience took less than 20 minutes!! Parking on the side street was a breeze and not far from the front door at all! Just got out of my first session here, I love the easy access location right off of south Jefferson! The aesthetic of the salon is super cute with a boutique feel. The bed I tried just had new bulbs put in, needless to say I look tanner already. Allison the Owner is refusing to honor my Lavish Spray Tan package I purchased months ago. Allison told me today over the phone that she doesn't want me as a customer because I've had two issues: 1. Her employee messed up my Lavish Tan last time because she made a mistake with the color. The next day they offered a Lavish Express to make up for it which I was grateful for. 2. The Mystic Tan I received today is not nearly what I was looking for in color, and instead of helping me Allison and her best friend Mikaela told me they don't have time for me and that "I'm not their customer". All I was looking for was a sun kissed glow. All I got was rude mean girls bullying me into accepting sub par service and zero color. I will never recommend any one to come here and will file a complaint with BBB for not honoring my purchase. I would not have given any stars if possible. My usual airbrush spray tanning place didn't have an appointment available so I chose this place after seeing the positive reviews. I am in a wedding! And needed some color. Luckily my dress is long so my feet and legs won't show. I am hoping that it will fade more and not look as horrible or try to find another place to fit it. When I got there the door was locked and the girl (she looked very young) looked at me confused and annoyed that I was there. She then made a comment about not believing her boss made an appointment at 6:45. She took me into the room and came back to put the lotion on my hands and feet. She didn't run it in and left big globs of the lotion on and proceeded to spray me. She had me turn back and forth twice. Did not spray the inside of my arms or legs. She didn't spray either side of my body. So there is a pale line running down the side of my arms and legs. She didn't take her time, rushed me in and out. Very poor quality and VERY upsetting being that I am in an important life event. I do not recommend this place of you are looking for a good, natural, even airbrush spray tan. read more

This is hands down the best tanning salon in Napa. After a less-than-stellar experience at Club Tan across town, I received a message from another Yelper saying I should try out Painted Lady Tanning. A reservation wasn't required, I ended up just walking in and getting the "Cocktail", which is a UV tan followed by a spray tan for just $45. I thought that was a pretty good deal. The girl working the front desk was extremely helpful and nice. It was actually really nice how genuine she seemed to be. The interior is adorable and beautifully maintained. I noticed that the lobby not only had lots of magazines but also children's toys. I don't have kids myself but I thought that must be really great for the moms and dads who want to get their tan on. Both the UV and Mystic tan turned out to be probably the best tan I've ever had and seems to be lasting. I'm definitely coming back and am already a big fan! read more

I will continue these treatments. I believe these work so well for me. My skin looks fantastic...!!! Their prices are so affordable! $$ but what you receive would be worth $$$$$! More details about my results: After 4 treatments: with RED LIGHT THERAPY, (to improve collegan), seeing results! My face is brighter, a bit plumper (we, like this) and is glowing!!! Noticeable overall even skin tone, both face and body!!! Love! But for optimal benefits, I suggest exfoliating twice a month. This way, your skin is clean and clear to absorb the maximal benefit of these treatments. Moisturize, moisturize! I use the new Palmers Skin Oil (sperate) and Face Oll (seperate), over my daily moisturizer. Buy these at your local drugstore. The combo for both, produces amazing results with RED LIGHT THERAPY. This place is adorable! I came in here after having a very bad experience at the Tan Club (rude rude rude owners!!!) and was greeted with a genuine smile, and someone who genuinely was grateful that I had come to commit to using their facilities. What I learned seconds in to chatting with this lovely lady at the front, that their prices are substantially lower than the Tan Club, about 50% lower. Where I was about to drop $250 for 12 tans over there, I paid $90 for 10 here at Painted Lady, and that price is for ALL of their beds!! (Which, I might add, are ones that the tan Club have.) This is spa, and they have tanning beds, and spray tan. They also seem to have a lot of other services available, and it seems like I will probably be partaking in some of those too. The room with the tanning bed I used is super cute! The spa is in an old house, and the bed is in what could have been an old bedroom. Came here about a month ago because I purchased a Groupon for one week of unlimited tanning. I chose the mystic spray tan and was really pleased with my results. It is done by a machine, so keep in mine the airbrush spray tan by an actual person will definitely be better. But having mystics tans before I knew what to expect. This location truly pampers. I love the intimate, relaxed atmosphere. I arrived earlier than I expected for my massage and the owner gave me a little spin in the red light therapy thingy "just to try it out". She didn't have to do that, as I was the last customer of the day and it'd been running all day and she was about to leave. That kindness and "Napa" hometown feel is a rarity and it just enhanced my relaxation and unplugging! They have always been welcoming and warm. I've had a massage with Rod and Julie and it was fabulous! They truly have a gift. I am now a "regular" and every visit endears me more to this location. This review is for a massage I just received from Rodney Davis. It was my first time at this spa. I went on a Groupon specifically for Rodney. He paid attention to my requests and did not chintz on what felt like a very customized massage. His massage was relaxing but also therapeutic, and his touch is strong, smooth, steady & smart. As a CMT (info I didn't disclose) I tend to be a little critical & have certain expectations when it comes to touch. This was undoubtedly the best professional massage I've ever received.
