I've been a member for a few years, with an unlimited membership for spray. There is always an…read moreissue when I go. The machine is down or they close early without prior announcement. I went last Friday and good thing I got there right before 1900 as they had a sign on the door saying they were closing early, at 1900. I went today and got there just before 1800, to find another sign stating they were closing at 1700 and yet there were at least two employees inside ignoring me standing at the door. It's very frustrating having an unlimited membership where I schedule my sprays around important events, that I cannot use because you continue to close your establishment early. Had I known you were closing early, I would have come earlier, as I'm sure I'm not the only customer who feels this way.

Tan was an organic formula that I unfortunately cannot remember the brand name of, but to me it felt high end and looked it as well. I was actually in the salon receiving a waxing when "Sindy" (previous one-star Yelp reviewer) came for her appointment. Due to the need for privacy, and also because of COVID, Sandy only has one client in the salon at a time. She keeps the front door locked as she doesn't want other people like delivery men walking into the salon when she is servicing another. The Yelp reviewer "Sindy" who left Sandy a one-star review (please don't confuse her with Sandy) started texting about ten minutes before her appointment to let Sandy know she was there. Mind you, Sandy has on a rubber gloves and a face mask at this time and is very busy focusing on my lady parts, and not her phone (I had been running a few minutes behind, and Sandy was hurrying to finish my treatment). In the few minutes it took her to finish me up and head out to address this client while I dressed, "Sindy" had knocked several times on the door and sent no less than FIVE separate texts, the last at 3:17 (her appointment was at 3:15) stating that, if Sandy didn't respond, she was leaving. Sandy walked out to the front porch, and I could hear "Sindy" immediately begin to raise her voice at her, telling her how she needs to run her business differently, answer her texts, etc. Sandy calmly explained that she had a client getting dressed and she'd get her in as soon as the room was sanitized and re-set for her. This was not good enough for "Sindy". She continued to berate Sandy until Sandy finally told her that she thought they had better just cancel the appointment as they obviously were not going to "click" as aesthetician /client. Sandy kept her head and addressed the matter in a professional way. She could easily have snapped back at this person who obviously wasn't going to use her services anyway, but she didn't. As a small business owner myself, I can tell you that I also wouldn't want a client such as that in my office, and I think that she received the result she deserved from her behavior.

And it's not even what I wanted. I'm so sorry but they just seemed very money hungry and especially because I am kind of young. I am 17 years old and it was the money that I saved up from working Hella hard at my first job. My hair is green now.

A business can only be as great as its employees, and Bottoms Up has the best staff, taking care of all of your customer service needs; they are friendly, knowledgeable, prompt and honest. The honesty part is very important when helping people achieve a desired skin tone. My first experience with their staff was with Tamia Her welcoming personality and knowledge of services offered is why I signed up. She offered me an incredible package including Red Light Therapy, UV Tanning and the incredible gift of Spray Tan. Now in the past I have done both Red Light and UV, but the spray tan was a bonus and I'm so glad Bottoms Up offered this package. I've seen some great spray tans on others but never got to experience one for myself. So on the morning I signed up I knew I needed some fast color and decided to book a spray tan. Being in my 30's I was reluctant to be half nude around any stranger, come to find out they have a PURA TANNING MACHINE!! Tamia offered me both her knowledge of shade options and shared her own personal experience with the PURA machine and let me choose my shade. Because of her input I believe I ended up with a perfect spray tan for my first time. Almost two months later I still feel just as welcomed and pampered as my first visit, we all need self love, and I find mine here. I just love this tanning salon. Extremely clean environment, quality tanning beds, and at least one stand up unit as well. Love that they now have a level four bed and stand up. Most local salons only use levels 1-3, which means your tan won't last as long; hence, having to tan more frequently to maintain your desired color. High pressure is the way to go, so kudos to Bottoms Up for adding the level four to your salon. Who knows, maybe one day they'll consider adding a level five. ;-) :-) Must sing high praises to Stephanie who is absolutely amazing! She always takes great care of me and all who frequent this establishment. Stephanie is ever the professional and extremely friendly. For obvious reasons I will continue to be a long term and faithful customer. *The only thing I wish was different would be the operating hours. First before going I had called to ask if you questions ‍concerning hours of operation, how many people in the sauna at a time, and do I need to request an appointment ahead of time? AnnA was very helpful answering all my questions and also gave us the option of a tour. The same day me and my friend end up going in and receiving a 25 min sauna ‍treatment. Upon arrival all the staff was very nice our temperatures were checked and we received a tour. The inside was very nice, and they have a good hand full of products from tightening creams, to CBD creams. The sauna was nice only space for two people. It was only just two of us not sure if they have bigger saunas. There were two towels already inside the sauna with also a radio and a timer. Overall great experience will go again for cryotherapy. read more

Except for the last 5-6 years I have tanned most of my adult life and I have been a costumer at multiple salons in a variety of cities . I can honestly say this was the most informative ,professional , welcoming without any pressure that I have ever experienced . Lorenzo was not only incredibly knowledgeable but personable. Found this little gem here in Vacaville. First of all, the facility is just gorgeous; beautifully decorated and beyond clean. Secondly, There are so many tanning beds that I never see anyone waiting in the front to use one. Lastly, I'd like to give a real shout out to the staff for being so friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about their wide range of services that they offer. Not to mention, they have the most affordable monthly plans around, conveniently located near freeway AND they open at 6am for those of us who'd like to stop in on our way to work. read more

Everything was clean and well organized. As an athlete, I like to go in for Cryotherapy and sometimes red light therapy or the fitness pod, for the best treatment for recovery whether I'm dealing with an injury or with soreness. I've gone over 5 or 6 times now and every time I've gone, I've never had one issue with any of the staff or the machines! This place is extremely clean and well managed! I would recommend this Tanning Salon out of all the salons in Vacaville. I used the spray tan and it work wonders! The only issue i have seen people have is that they do not follow the directions when it comes to the Pura. You have to be sure to exfoliate and have no lotion on for it to come out even! I sent multiple texts and left a voicemail with almost no communication. I had to keep following up over and over and after over a week and multiple messages they still were not able to book an appointment for me. I ended up booking somewhere else when I continued to not get a reply. The communication has never been great, but this time was beyond unacceptable. Not sure how you keep a business open if you don't reply to clients.

Emily was referred to me by a friend. Emily is a great stylist. She keeps up with trends, is friendly, and is very talented. If you ask her if a style will look good, she is honest and supportive of trying new things. She will tell you if something is not a great fit if you don't want to change your routine or if its's not flattering. Her prices are reasonable and her customer service is great. As for the actual salon, it's very clean. They have some upgraded amenities to make your time there feel elevated but never snooty. The stylists and other pros have a nice rapport.
