I'm so late, but I finally took some time to visit Puttshack with my friends and I'm so glad that I did. I've visited the Interlock dozensss of times, sat at the nearby bar and restaurant and never stepped foot into Puttshack for some reason! As one who appreciates golf, it's right up my alley. My friends (a party of 9 including myself) made Friday reservations and plans to have some fun. I didn't have a part in the reservation process so it seemed easy on my end as I completed a short info form after paying and boom, I was set. Upon entry I was greeted by a young lady at the front who directed me to the bar when I realized I was the first in my party to arrive. So a drink was in order! It was about 7:45 on a Friday night and although it was busy, it wasn't overwhelming and I wasn't fighting for space at the bar at all. I was impressed by the cute cocktail offerings and how cute the menu was too. As one who prefers a vodka cocktail, I had some great options to choose from and decided to start with the p*rn star martini which is a fave of mine thanks to my love of passionfruit. It was so good! As my friends trickled in, I realized that I hadn't really eaten anything all day and decided to take a peek at the menu. The place is split up a bit between bar, restaurant/seating area and the actual courses. I didn't really understand if I had to be in the restaurant area or not to order, and when I ventured over, no one in the section seemed available or willing to assist too much so I went back to the hostess stand and got help there. After confirming that I could order at the bar, I asked my bartenders recommendations on food and he gave me some great options that made it even harder for me to make a choice, so I asked him to pick one. We went with the mini gyros and, WOW. The order comes with 3 taco-sized gyros and they were absolutely delicious, I did not expect that from a mini golf place, lol. Onto the putting experience itself - we received instructions before starting the game and we were on our way. I'll say that the course is smaller than I expected/than I'm used to, but I loved how interactive and creative each hole was. They really made great use of that small space for the courses because our group of 9 flowed through the area with ease, even with other groups beside us. We had been to another Puttshack location and loved it, so we knew we had to stop in for the unlimited play. This location has four mini-golf courses and provided tons of fun - we played seven rounds before grabbing some drinks and calling it quits. There were a few holes that malfunctioned over the course of our seven games, but nothing major, and luckily it wasn't packed so we moved at a solid pace through the holes. I ordered a FROZEN WATERMELON MARGARITA ($14) it was Campo Bravo Plata Tequila, premium watermelon purée, Magdala Orange Liqueur. Soooooo freakin good! For my meal I ordered the MARYLAND CRAB DIP ($16) Hot crab, spinach & artichoke dip, house chip medley. Will most definitely order this again. Since there was a delay in us being seated for dining we were a little behind going upstairs to play the game, but it all worked out perfect perfectly and the young ladies who were assisting with us playing the golf portion of our trip. We went to Puttshack's Atlanta - (West) Midtown location this past Friday for a fall social event that my wife's company hosted. Coincidentally, we went to Puttshack's Atlanta - Dunwoody location a couple months ago for my company's summer party. We had a great time at both locations. However, the Dunwoody location outshined this location for a few reasons: (1) food and drink, (2) service and technology, and (3) parking. That's why I gave the Dunwoody location four stars and this location three. * Food and Drink Simply put, the food and drink were better at the event we attended in Dunwoody. While the catering packages were different, it doesn't change the fact that the quality of the food and drink in Midtown were worse. The food and drink in Dunwoody were good while in Midtown, it was just OK. In Midtown, we had a small self-serve buffet with Caesar salad, chips and dip, loaded tater tots, certified Angus cheeseburger sliders, and BBQ chicken flatbread. One plate of the sliders came out great (tasty and delicious) while a subsequent plate came out underwhelming (not as flavorful, tough and dry). As for drinks, much like our experience in Dunwoody, we had a private bar in Midtown (the 2nd floor bar). However, unlike Dunwoody, the Midtown bar lacked ingredients. Therefore, certain drinks, like the Frozen Watermelon Margarita ($14), could not be made. The 2nd floor bar in Midtown should have been fully capable of making all the drinks on Puttshack's menu, especially since a private event was booked. Puttshack Dunwoody took better care of us. I'm not blaming the bartenders that were assigned to our event. They were good. I just don't think Puttshack Midtown set them up right. Another example: I had a Very Berry Mule ($14). It's supposed to come with strawberry, but there was none. Instead, I got a regular Moscow mule. On the bright side, my wife had two Porn Star Martinis ($15 each) and she said they were good. They're made with Absolut Vanilia (vanilla vodka), Passoã passionfruit liqueur, vanilla syrup, and lime juice. I'm not sure that she got the "smoke-filled side of sparkling Sofia Brut Rosé," though. She also had a regular margarita which she said was OK. * Service and Technology At mini golf, the attendant who checked us in was lazy about putting us on the same scorecard. I ended up on the scorecard of the group in front of us, while the five others in my group were on the same scorecard. Come on, man. In Dunwoody, the staff at least had each group of six on its own scorecard - the way it should be. The "Trackaball™ Technology" glitched out towards the end of our round. Someone's ball didn't register at the starting point of one of the holes. We proceeded to play two or three balls and the scoring got messed up. We experienced similar glitchiness in Dunwoody, but it wasn't as bad -- only one person was affected instead of multiple people. The unisex restroom I used twice on the 2nd floor was out of paper towels and was never replenished. * Parking Use the ParkMobile app and park in The Interlock's garage. Zone number 3232. The Interlock was notorious for expensive parking from the time The Interlock opened in 2021 until May 1, 2025. On May 1st, new, lower parking prices were announced. I ended up buying three separate 2-hour increments of parking at $6.45, $4.45, and $5.45 ($16.35 total for six hours). Using the app, I wasn't able to extend parking in 1 or 2-hour increments. Instead, the minimum extend time was something ridiculous like 16 hours. So I had to keep checking my phone in order to purchase new 2-hour parkings. That was annoying. At least the parking rates have gone down. Free, no-hassle parking in Dunwoody. * General Comments Puttshack is to mini golf as Topgolf is to driving ranges. It elevates mini golf to a more contemporary, adult atmosphere with an integrated restaurant and bar experience. That said, I think it's perfectly fine to bring kids here except until later at night. We were here past 11pm. By that time, the music was loud and the vibe was that of a late-night bar. The course design is fun and creative. Having been to the large and spacious Dunwoody location first, I was surprised at how big this Midtown location is. Ballpark, the two locations are roughly comparable in size. Both have two floors with four 9-hole courses for a total of 36 holes of mini golf. At this location, the Amber and Emerald Courses are on the 1st floor and the Sapphire and Ruby Courses are on the 2nd floor. We played the Ruby Course. Just a couple months ago, we played the Sapphire Course in Dunwoody. At least four of the holes are the same between the Ruby Course in Midtown and the Sapphire Course in Dunwoody. This Puttshack was the first to open in the US. It opened on April 21, 2021. The very first Puttshack, which opened in 2018, is in London. The Dunwoody location, which opened on November 6, 2024, is Puttshack's 20th location. read more

Underwhelming mini golf experience tbh. For a 9 hole about $15, it was okay with some interactive ones like trivia or like bounce through obstacles. I felt like there wasn't much to be excited for. At least there's two different versions so if you were to go again, you could try the other course (I think it's orange vs green?). The bathroom had a cute punny sign. It was really empty for a Friday afternoon, maybe like one other party on the premise. Parking is iffy here. There's a parking deck nearby. Sometimes the machine is spiffy with spitting out a ticket so either make sure you get a ticket or talk to the parking attendant if they're in their office. read more

The food portion of the evening would be 3 stars, whereas the putting would be 5. I came here for my birthday and I, as well as the rest of my family, hoped to order the Margarita Pizza. Unfortunately, they were out of them. However, our server was great, and was able to accommodate us by getting us cheese pizzas. The pizzas themselves were decent, but nothing exceptional. We got two pizzas, and that was just enough for four of us. We also got a side of garlic fries and although they were decent, there was hardly any garlic. The highlight of the meal was the Sparkling Apple Berry Sangria, a seasonal cocktail for the month of December. However, when the food came out the drinks still hadn't arrived. I reminded the women bringing it out and she said they had forgotten, and it was then promptly brought out. It came out in desperate need of being mixed, but what then fantastic. I will say, throughout the whole ordeal, our waitress was very helpful and polite. In contrast, the actual putting experience was amazing. We did the nine whole option which took us around 45 minutes to complete. However, we were very bad at it. Each hole had a fun challenge, and the opportunity to earn bonus points. My goal is to mini golf in all 50 states, and PuttShack checks off Georgia as my 29th. In terms of mini-golf design, these are some of the most fun and unique hole designs I've ever seen -- loved the air hockey, skee-ball, and pinball-like holes. And thought the ball-tracking system was unique and fun (though not a very intuitive scoring system). My two downsides: 1) with how short the course is, all 18 holes should be included for the price -- way too expensive to pay $20+ for 9 holes. 2) While the ball tracking system is cool, because everyone starts on the exact same spot and pushes their ball down, the starting point of each hole is pretty beaten up, which results in golf balls popping out funny directions off the tee. read more

So putt shack is a larger take on A Putt-Putt golf experience. It's very loud and flashy and colorful and bright. It's really good for date nights or larger group events. I came in with some friends that were in town, we didn't play the games, but I have played them before. It's gigantic putt putt So you know what you're getting into. The bar has reasonably priced drinks which is where I was the last time I went. If you can get a bartender's attention you'll be fine. But depending on what kind of crowd they have, you may have to wait a little bit so just keep that in mind. The spot itself is pretty cool, it's bright and colorful, and you can definitely have a good time there. If you wanted to go to the bar, you can do that. You can do nothing but drink. If you want to play, there's multiple paths to pick from as far as different places to go for Putt-Putt golf. If you wanted to eat, they have food as well. So you can eat, drink and play all in the same area. Didn't have any issues with it. Only thing I have issue with is the fact that it's a little bit hard to get a drink on some of those weekend nights. And I guess I shouldn't be too shocked about that, but at the end of the day, you probably shouldn't be dilly dallying and such with customers if you have other customers waiting behind them in line. Overall, it's still a good time regardless though. Last time I went, I went for drinks. I have a full bar so if you just want to go eat and drink you can do that. This one is in the interlock and there is a dedicated parking structure there so you don't have to worry about parking. Of course it's paid parking but it's not that bad. They have seats on the inside and a patio area around the outside as well so you can pretty much sit wherever you want. If you want to eat in or drink. The bar may be crowded because a lot of people gravitate torta bar just in general so you may not get a spot there if you are rushing on a busy night like a Friday or a Saturday night. If you go upstairs or go toward the back you will have all the Putt-Putt golf areas. They'll talk you through it and give you your equipment and then they'll send you on your way. It's really easy and really fun, so if you haven't done that, I would say you should definitely try it. read more

I haven't tried the food yet so the stars are ONLY for the putt-putt golfing. This was a great time for the 4 of us. The holes are themed and pretty easy to get the reference. It's a twist on the Top Golf. Concept. The balls are microchipped so you must keep and use the same ball. There are three club sizes so not everyone will get a good feel. The service was amazing. There were a couple of glitches in the system and they were on it in no time. The place was noisy but not so loud we couldn't hear each other talk. I'll up date again once we've dined there. But I had some concerns about the food quality, given their location and prices ( so many great options to choose from in W Midtwon should create healthy competition of prices and menu item options). Overall 3/10 due to some issues with the food. - Pictured is the Chicken Cobb which I was excited about for the avocado included, but my avocado was very overripe (I had to pick out my favorite part of the salad). - fried Chicken bites appetizer was served very burnt, and had to be returned to the kitchen. - The crab dip was okay, though drenched in salt as were the chips to go with them. I was able to reserve just minutes before arriving on a Sunday, which is the only day of the week they offer an unlimited play option. It was less than double the price of playing just once, which is 9 holes, so it was totally worth it to do the unlimited option. There are 4 total courses with similar holes but the tech is amazing! The balls are all chipped so you don't have to manually keep score. It is all on a screen and great for kids. The holes were fun and had so really cool features. We spent about 2 hours there and had a blast the whole time! The staff was great at getting us started and letting us know how it worked.There is a full bar and restaurant and we got drinks at the bar. They were great about refilling our non-alcoholic beverages. Parking is tough as it is a pay lot and not a lot of street options available in the area. read more

we got there and nobody was there to attend the golf course. I searched around for an employee and she said "Honestly you can just go grab a stick and start." Actually, she was wrong, we had to "sign in" in order to get a ball. (I had to chase down another employee to tell me that.) The courses were in bad shape, with broken parts and screens. It was absolutely not fun. In fact it felt like a bad job where I had to figure everything out myself. There were 3 of us; myself, my husband, and my 12-year-old grandson. This place is not for kids! This is a bar with putt-putt courses instead of pool tables. It cost $70.79 + $6.45 for parking. Ridiculous. None of us liked it. I was trying to have a good time with my grandson while he was visiting, but this is not the place to go!!!! I talked to the manager who said he was going to refund half my money, but as of the next day it has not been refunded. He gave me 3 free passes to come back but I threw them in the recycle. You have to pay to be in the parking garage. 3 hours costs about $20. I have always been able to find a spot and it looks very safe. There are nearby food and drink venues. I think Velvet taco is right across the hall. We sat at the bar which looks long but the seats are spaced so well that it has limited seating. I like the space. The drinks here are delicious. We tried the expresso martini, henessey island, and Georgia Peach on Peachtree. My favorite was Georgia Peach followed by Henessey island. I love drinks that are balanced with taste and spirits. The bathrooms are extremely clean and they have full stalls with the doors going from the floor to the ceiling. You have to register for the games at a kiosk. It costs about $19 for 9 holes. The games are extremely fun. Your golf ball has a chip in it. The system keeps up with strokes and points. There are bonus points at each level. I will return. read more

Really enjoyed our first trip to Interlock and Puttshack. First, the not-so-good: parking is an absolute disaster here. When you pull into the lot, there is no cell service and the only way you can get paid up is via a cell phone. Puttshack does not validate at all and, when we looked for help from a parking penguin they were nowhere to be found. Please figure out a better parking system than what's there now because utter fail on that point. As for the joint itself, what fun! Puttshack was the perfect escape with my son and we played 9 holes. the design of the place is really vibrant and engaging, although I could do without the loud, thumping music. checking in was a little on the hinky side, relegated to iPad-ish tablets that didn't work all that well. But once we got in? all good. folks there were very nice and helpful, and guided us to the right spot. we will definitely be going back, and packing patience with the parking. (Guys, at least offer an hour of comped parking. make some kind of gesture to defray the huge cost of a visit.) read more

I love mini golf and Puttshack is my go to for indoor fun. I did the emerald course and it was challenging enough for a novice golfer like me. I loved the preregistration and the quick intro the staff provided. I had the passion fruit lemonade and it was not too sweet and refreshing since I worked up a sweat due to the heat of the competition. I did not win but I did hit my personal goal of 300 so it's a win in my book. Overall the courses were operational so we were able to use our geometry skills to avoid hazards and moving obstacles on some rounds. Well organised and fun little indoor putt putt course; 10 holes, which you can complete in any sequence. You may find you need to skip ahead and circle back if you're behind a large group. The balls are assigned to each player and contain a chip so the scoring system knows which player made the shot. They have a full bar, and it feels more of an adults place - but there are a lot of children, be warned! Honestly this place is what you make it. If you go understanding you will have to wait sometimes to putt due to larger groups in front of you. We were larger group and it feels awkward when people are waiting behind you to go next. However, people are nice and understanding so we still had fun despite people having to wait for us to finish. Would be nice if they would space larger groups out better so the small groups or couples, wouldn't have to wait so long. The courses are very creative so it's not like cheesy miniature golf. I appreciate how well thought out they are for adults to enjoy. I like that they have 21+ hours which I believe start at 9pm. A huge plus is that they have bar tables with purse hooks at each course so you can drink and put your stuff down when you play. They also have a DJ which makes it more fun when playing. Lots of people were dancing and vibing to the music so that was nice. We ate there and the food is standard nothing special but it's convenient which we loved so we didn't have to look for a restaurant. The parking is good, they have a huge covered parking garage and you just pay with the app or you can valet. read more
