I had one of the worst experiences I've ever had at Main Event Entertainment, and I would strongly recommend going literally anywhere else. I arrived around 4 PM with my daughter, a friend, and her four children. Before coming, I called the location around 12:30 PM to confirm their "all-you-can-play" deal ($29.99 including a $10 game card, meal, and unlimited games). I was told it was available. However, when we arrived, the front desk staff told me the deal was no longer being offered. After explaining that I had just confirmed it hours earlier, I was still dismissed. I had to call the location again, standing there, just to have someone else confirm that the deal was in fact available. Completely unacceptable and a clear lack of communication and training. That was just the beginning. We were told we'd be placed on a waitlist for bowling--even though there were multiple empty lanes in plain sight. After waiting an entire hour, I went back to the desk to ask what was going on, and suddenly a lane was "available." Interesting. When we got to the lane, there were piles of boxes stacked nearby, making it feel like we were bowling in the middle of a storage room or construction zone. Then we were told we couldn't even order food from the lane--despite menus and condiments sitting right there. Make it make sense. Before bowling, the kids played laser tag, and one of the children ended up with a bloody nose. Not a single staff member stepped in to help. Instead, a 12-year-old child was told to go to the bathroom and handle it himself. That alone was enough to question the safety and supervision at this place. We then attempted to eat at the restaurant area. We seated ourselves, were handed menus, and then completely ignored. After waiting, we had to walk up to the bar and place our own order. While standing there, I noticed a noticeable infestation of flies--at that point, I decided not to eat anything at all. Meanwhile, a new manager had come on shift and sat in a corner the entire time, while the staff--mostly teenagers--stood around on their phones, offering little to no service. The entire facility was filthy. Tables covered in leftover food, trash all over the floors, and the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. I don't know who is running this location, but it is being run into the ground. At this point, it needs a complete shutdown, deep cleaning, renovation, and an entirely new staff. This was, without question, one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. Do not go here. Seriously--go anywhere else. read more

One star for having a functioning kitchen, bowling alley and laser tag area. The arcade center is basically a waste - half the machines don't work. Claw machines - are not filled with the toys so there is a 0% chance of getting anything as the claw can't grab anything Some games have non functioning controls and you obviously figure that out once you've paid for the games At least 30-40% of the games are disabled, not working or do not accept the game cards The VR roller coaster games do not have any wipes to clean the glasses (and trust me the glasses are yuck) Staff is non existent - long long line at the redemption center Overall, a big waste of money. The bartender with the red braided mohawk was very rude to children. When they first walked up she snapped at them with an attitude and told the girls to speak to their party host before they even got a word out when they replied that the party host told them to see her to order food and drinks she snaps and says "I don't know why they told you to see me ", then ignored them when they were trying to order. Another girl ordered ice cream 2 hours before and paid she didn't get her ice cream until she demanded and the server was literally yelling at her. Then she had the nerve to stab a fork into her ice cream. Horrible service I will not be returning. read more

This was a disappointing visit. Upon arrival, I used the restroom and it was clear the entire restroom was trashed. I stepped on a dirty diaper walking in, and paper was strewn all over the floor and it appeared the paper towels and soap were ripped out of the wall. I alerted staff and an hour later went back in, and it was still in the same state. The machines didn't work, and the menus were pretty sticky. I've been to this location several times to bowl but had the chance to enjoy it yesterday with my Bro for lunch and shooting some pool. We play a couple of games and enjoyed lunch. It wasn't particularly crowded which I like. Our server, Yanni, was really nice and accommodating. That rum punch was perfect as a compliment to my delicious burger. The fries could've been crispier. Parking is free and ample. Great spot for recreation and family enjoyment. Perfect for large group! read more

Before heading to another event, place up the road, I brought my nephew to the main event because he wanted to do the obstacle course. So we decided to do the zip line obstacle course and also laser tag. The laser tag was a lot of fun. The room has a lot of great hiding corners and unlike other laser tag rooms. This one was two stories which added to the excitement. We did not stay for playing games or bowling because they did not seem to have a mid week discount and it didn't seem like there were enough games to make it worth our while. I must say that the staff here was very friendly and kind and even allowed us to change our scheduled laser tag time because there was a birthday party with about 20 kids under the age of nine A big shout out to Cam who worked the obstacle chorus and afterwards gave us a Tim for a nice post event refresher at Jeremiah's ice cream spot. I definitely will be back for the obstacle course and laser tag with a larger group because it was definitely an enjoyable time although short. read more

I took my niece and nephew here with my husband and we spent about $200 expecting a fun afternoon, but the experience was honestly very underwhelming. When we first arrived, the line to purchase cards was incredibly long because there was only one person working the register. It was very clear she was new and later we learned it was actually her first day on the register. She was trying, but she didn't really know how to process things and had to call someone over to help. I don't blame her at all as that felt like a management issue for putting someone brand new in that position during what seemed like a busy time. Once we finally got our cards and started playing games, we ran into another problem: several of the machines simply took our money but didn't work. That was frustrating, especially after already waiting so long to get started. The kids were really excited about the ropes course and they did have a great time once they got going. Most of the staff there were perfectly fine and helpful, but the one employee assisting kids right before they went out onto the course had a pretty bad attitude. She was making faces and seemed visibly annoyed while interacting with the kids. It was noticeable enough that my nephew even asked me about it afterward. Laser tag was probably the highlight of the visit and everyone enjoyed that part. Unfortunately things went downhill again when we tried to get food. There was no one at either host stand and no one around to help seat us. We went over to the bar to ask for help and eventually sat in a dining section, but no one came to take our order. When we finally flagged down a waitress, she told us she couldn't take orders for that section but would find someone who could. We ended up waiting close to an hour trying to order food that was supposed to be included with the cards we purchased. Eventually we gave up and had to leave to feed the kids somewhere else. On top of everything else, the bathrooms and dining areas were not very clean, which added to the overall disappointing experience. For the amount of money we spent, we expected much better organization and customer service. There were some fun moments for the kids, but overall the experience left a lot to be desired. I would give zero stars if I could. I will not be returning to this establishment. We had two bowling lanes reserved and upon our arrival (which was early/on time), we were told our lanes were accidentally given to another party. We were told two other lanes would be ready in 15 minutes and we were gifted timed arcade cards in the interim. The lanes weren't ready for 35+ minutes later. Additionally, at least 12 arcade games were out of service and more than 4 did not function correctly. When we were bowling, no servers came to ask for any drink or food orders. I found a server and order led four drinks. Two drinks showed up 20 minutes later. Forty-five minutes later, our other two drinks still hadn't arrived, but we were told they were on the way. I canceled the order. One of our two bowling lanes stopped working on 4 different occasions - once it was down for 20 minutes. We had to track down a maintenance person all four times. We played games and bowled during our visit. One of the games took our credits but didn't work. The first employee I spoke with said he would return to fix it, but he never came back. A second employee directed me to another person; fortunately, that person quickly adjusted the credits without issue. The bowling experience itself was pleasant. The bowling area was clean, the lanes worked properly, and setting up our names was easy. However, our experience ordering food was frustrating. I approached three different staff members as they passed our lane; each said they couldn't help and promised someone else would come--but nobody did. A fourth employee also promised assistance and then suggested we walk to the bar to order ourselves. At that point, I asked to speak with the manager. Daniel, the manager, came over promptly. When I explained the situation, he acknowledged that they were short staffed. however, I don't think that was the issue, there were plenty of staff walking/standing around avoiding work. Nevertheless, Daniel redeemed the experience. He took our food and drink order himself and even provided a great drink recommendation for the kids. The food and drinks arrived faster than I expected. He checked on us a few times, and when we were ready to leave, he quickly brought the check and a box for our food. Overall service rating: Daniel deserves a 5/5 for his attentiveness, professionalism, and effort to turn the situation around. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff provided service closer to a 1.5/5, as they repeatedly deflected responsibility rather than helping. read more

MOST DISGUSTING BATHROOM EVER!!! I was just here to play games with my friends and when I went to the bathroom I couldn't bear to use it. It was the dirtiest bathroom ever. I smelled like poop and weed HEAVILY!!!! I felt so dirty after even just using the bathrooms I complained about it twice and it wasn't cleaned at all the whole night. We went to Main Event to celebrate my son's 15th birthday. We didn't do the party as he says he's too old..he just wanted a hang out with his friends. The party may have been a better value. We went on a Monday for the all you can play for $12.99. They bowled, played laser tag and pool..well their version of pool! The ropes were closed. We purchased two large pizzas and 2 sets of boneless wings, along with drinks. Food came to $85 including tip. Service was good. No issues. I was attending a graduation celebration. Cake will always be included with celebrations and children.After leaving the party room we were all told to go to the pizza bar/room. The majority of the games were broken so of course cake was served. The cake was quite messy without plates or napkins so I went to the restroom to clean my hands. Of course there was no soap or paper towels in the dispenser. I went back to the pizza and grabbed a paper towel from behind the counter (since everyone was busy) out of nowhere one of the lead workers hollers, excuse me 2x's (I heard him the first time) and proceeded to yell at me as I were a child about not crossing a line while demonstrating with his feet. It was almost comical except it wasn't funny. I apologized and kept it moving. I didn't feel like being bothered or upset about anything today. Plus, I guess he was just doing his job. There's no sense of decorum in how much anything is said or done today. A child would have been scared with the amount of vitriol in his voice. I decided as a grey haired senior to not choose this battle today. However, I would like the young man to understand that everyone isn't confrontational. We waited 1 hour for a waiter to take our order. Then when notice we were walking out that's when she walked over to ask if we were ready to order. Wanted to go bowling so we visited this place. There was a deal for an all day experience. We bowled close to 3 games and then swapped to shooting pool. Both games were fun. There was suppose to be laser tag but that was closed. The place was nice and the desk help was informative. read more

It was time for the Young Adult Ministry to have a VIBEnight Out and Main Event was the location of choice. We were able to reserve the bowling lanes for 12 people quickly and easily. I would highly recommend booking your reservation in advance... Upon arriving for our designated time, the check in process was super simple. We provided our name, they confirmed our reservations, and directed us to our lanes. The staff at the desk were super helpful, very engaging, and all assisted with a smile. Extra kudos for the great customer service. Once at our lanes, the lanes were spotless and provided ample space for our group of 12. Our waitress (Krenza) arrived at our lanes within minutes to greet us and she was all smiles and super high energy. She presented us with the menu and went over some of the combo options. She engaged everyone who was in our area and created a very enjoyable experience for everyone. Throughout our stay, she was very attentive to us and ensured our pitchers remained full and no one needed anything. When we were finished with our meal she had our boxes for the leftovers and cleared the area within minutes ensuring there was no unnecessary trash in our area. As the bowling was filled with people, to be able to be provided with above average service was an absolute pleasure. Thank you Krenza for making us feel welcomed, valued, and appreciated as patrons. Your service alone will be the reason we return to host more of our outings at Main Event. Thank you to the check-in staff as well for the smooth check-in and easy shoe retrieval. Came for bowling on a Tuesday night and our group had a good time. We reserved two lanes for 1hr and it was $14pp with shoe rental. We ordered food also and the service was good this night (usually service is my biggest issue here but it wasn't busy this time) the menu needs to be updated as some of the items listed were no longer available. I got the boneless wings (12piece) $12 but i initially wanted bone in (6 piece) but it was $14. The sweet sriracha flavor was pretty good and i ordered with fries that were seasoned well and served hot the house ranch is also good too. Decided to take my 5yr old niece and 10 yr old nephew to Main Event for a couple of hours. Main Event is perfect for a "let's have fun, without too much planning" experience. Games, bowling, laser tag, etc. are fun for all ages and sizes. The venue was clean, well lit and buzzing with excitement. We pre-loaded our play cards at the kiosk and went to town! A few games were malfunctioning, but it was not a big deal because there were tons of other gaming options to keep them busy. The menu was filled with typical American bar/pub items. We got pizza, quest, wings, a burger and chicken tenders and it was all enjoyable! They accumulated a good amount of points and were able to redeem them for a few fun items. I came here for a quick round of games as I was too energized to go to bed. There was plenty of parking and there was a small line when we got there which moved pretty slow. Afterwards, it was easy to reload the card with more points and see how many tickets we won at the end. There were a fair amount of games but of course, the handful of those that did not work. Overall, we had a good time. There were VR, shooting, racing, and sports games to pick from. I would like to come again and try out their full bar and food they have to offer. This is the worst place to come and bowl. Do not bring a party over 10 or your balls will get stuck every other roll. I can obviously tell the staff and employees do not give a crap. What a disappointment. Brought a large group of friends to celebrate a birthday. We spent hundreds of dollars between games, bowling, & food, and did NOT receive the value we expected. The place was very busy, yet there were multiple staff members standing around talking while two people worked to attend to a massive line. Multiple games took our money and then did not work, and some that did work didn't give the tickets that were earned. When waiting for bowling, it took over 15 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge my group, and another 20 minutes to get us to a lane. Halfway through our reserved time, we were told we had to move because they had reserved our line for another party. There were MULTIPLE open lanes and staff refused to help us move the table full of food and drinks. Also, they delivered our food to a different table and we had to get it from them, which feels insane. Laser tag was fun though. Though an employee showed up and suddenly screamed at us to "get moving" after another staff member had instructed us to wait and that he would explain the controls. First of all, this location lacked customer service. While trying to purchase activities and also game cards the associate was talking to her coworker. I was having to repeat myself several times. It was hot like we were outside hot. Most of the games didnt work or it took your points. Nobody wanted to help with resolving the issue. They had an extremely large group that came in full of teens and they were rushing everyone to place orders because once the group started to order they shut the kitchen down to everyone else. Having the hardest time writing this review. So we booked here two nights in a row for two work events. The first night, we had exactly zero service, terrible food, the bartenders treated us like garbage and laser tag/bowling only worked 50% of the time. It was so bad that we had to bring in the manager and provide feedback. A solid 2 star experience. However, the next day we had okay food, much better bar experience, AMAZING host experience, bowling kinda worked but we enjoyed it and laser tag was amazing! I feel like it needs to be said that it's a massive place supporting lots of people. That's not wasted on me. Just manage your expectations and don't be afraid to (kindly) give feedback! If I could rate 0 stars I would. Never bring ya kids nor ya mamas here. Almost all the games were out of service, "coming soon," and/or the games wouldn't work but still take your credits. Games would work half way through playing and then stop, taking your credits. I would rather play catch with a person with no arms for a tick tack instead. If you did somehow play an arcade game with tickets, you can't even check the amount of tickets you got. If you want to be more ripped off than a real carnival game come here yall!!! If ya wanna come here and bowl on a Saturday consider yourself to wait over 4 hours BUT still have to pay upfront to wait in line. Oh yeah, and a third of the lanes were being used. 1 Star - Extremely Disappointed We paid in full for a night out at Main Event and it was a complete letdown. Our bowling lane was broken from the start -- the pins wouldn't reset properly, and the ball return barely worked. We told the staff multiple times and were told it would be fixed, but nothing happened. We spent more time waiting around than actually bowling. No offer of a refund or compensation, just a shrug. If I wanted to pay to sit around doing nothing, I could've stayed home. Total waste of money and time. Do better, Main Event. read more
