The crew were great. Professional and polite. The prep and painting went well. I like to inspect the work so I got on the roof and noticed areas that we missed/skipped. Honestly it looked like cutting corners. Several areas on the second story/roof eaves weren't caulked or obvious brush strokes missed spots. I called and the Initial response was good. They returned in a timely manner and took care of the areas I pointed out. The issue was with follow up work a few months later. High high spots like the chimney started to discolor and peel. The follow up was borderline at best. I called back to request a relook at the work that was done and that is when I was ghosted. Many calls over several months and no return contact. Most of the house looks good. Just beware. Inspect the work, especially the areas you can't see from the ground. I wouldn't count on the promise of a warranty if you're not happy. read more

We hired PR to do our exterior paint, and they did a wonderful job. I referred several people to them, but they never returned their calls, so I think they may be out of business now. I also called and left a message to see about getting some interior paint done, but I never got a callback. Their VM message says to contact them on their website, which is also down. read more

Worst experience ever! There are far too many reputable painters to do business in the area. I chose Paint Rangers because they were local and had good reviews. I can only assume they must delete bad reviews. I had to wait a year to post this review for fear they would not correct the deplorable job they did on our deck. The deck was supposed to be power washed (it was) and sanded (it was not) and I choose a expensive stain so it would last. We were selling the house and needed our large deck to look good. It began peeling within a few months. Long story short, it took nearly a year for them to fix the problem. It was not until under the threat of turning them into the Attorney General's office that we were able to finally get them to repair their shoddy work. Do yourself a favor and do not conduct business with this company. It was a frustrating experience for us and the new homeowners. New homeowners had nothing nice to say about their experience with Paint Rangers. read more

Jeff and crew did a terrific job on our project. We had them paint the walls of our living room, dining room, entryway and stairway hallway. They did a terrific job, they arrived on time, on time and they had a big enough crew that they were able to knock the job out in one day and they helped move the furniture and put everything back in place when they were completed. I would give them a zero only because I have never seen the work. Asked for a quote and arranged a time to meet. Jeff texted me to let me know he was on his way, I let him know I was about 5 mins behind him. Passed him as he was leaving? Got home and wife was stunned he wasn't still there. He ran away with his tail between his legs. Admittedly my house needs a lot of work (this is why I called him) but if I were to ask him to paint an outhouse I would at least expect him to tell me no. Instead he ignored my texts and blocked my calls. A waste of time for both of us. In the end I have been a property manager for the last 30 years. The Paint Rangers are phenomenal, my wife and I couldn't have asked for better results and an overall experience. I reached out to Jeff via email to inquire about pricing and availability; he promptly called me to set up a bid. He arrived on time for the bid and took the time to walk the property with us, answering all questions and ensuring we felt comfortable with the proposal. On our scheduled painting day, Jeff and his team arrived exactly on time. His team was professional, polite and very detail oriented. Jeff and his painting foreman walked the property with us again to double check everyone was on the same page. Architecturally, our home is very difficult to paint with sharp 45° angles, coffered ceilings and extensive trim work. When my wife and i returned home later that day, we were truly impressed with the work and attention to detail. The white ceilings to dark contrasting walls had razor sharp lines, there was great coverage on all surfaces and most importantly there was no paint on any of the cedar trim ( the trim was the entire reason we purchased the home). Overall, I would highly recommend Jeff and the Paint Rangers. My wife and I will be a customer for life; we'll be contracting Jeff in the near future for more projects inside and out. Paint Rangers were recommended to us by at least 3 of our neighbors and we decided to get them for painting our home exteriors. We learned from experience that if you need to paint during summer, be ensured that there will be delays in communication and setting up an appointment, as it is peak time for them. My tip: Set up an appointment and use this time between present and appointment wisely in setting up a pressure cleaning appointment and finalizing your paint color combinations and getting HOA approvals if needed. This lag is more than made up by them in their speed in getting things done. Our pressure washing took a day and, two weeks later (it has to be completely dry before they can paint) they tarped, caulked, and painted our entire house in one day. They cleaned up well, attended to our retouch requests, and left enough paint for future touch-ups too. Price-wise, they were quite reasonable too. Overall a great experience! Our house looks beautiful and we have had loads of compliments from neighbors too. Jeff and his team of Paint Rangers are really, really good at what they do. Greatly recommended! read more

We had a new rood installed on our house this Summer and needed to have all the soffits and lots of trim areas painted. I got a quote from a certain big corporate painting company and was really shocked at the price vs the work they intended to do. I called the Paint Rangers after spotting a small sign on Rt 9 and set an appointment for an estimate. Jeff got right back to me and came over to see what I had in mind. We walked the entire property and I felt like Jeff was much more receptive to our wants and needs and he pointed out things that the big company either ignored or didn't want to do. I had some paint from the last time the house was painted and Jeff took a look at it, wrote down the info and told me there was no problem matching it exactly. We set a date to commence work and first thing Jeff did was power wash the entire exterior of the house. After sufficient drying time Jeff returned and we again went over the plan. I have two ordinary garage doors and one huge RV door that the big company guy wasn't planning to paint. I thought they needed painting and that if we didn't do it, the whole job was going to be disappointing. Jeff absolutely agreed and we also discussed what to do with the gutters, etc. In the end it took a few days but Jeff and his crew worked like crazy and didn't take any shortcuts. The masking they did ensured there was no mess anywhere and when the job was completed the house looks absolutely like new. Bottom line, dealing with a guy who's passionate about making the customer happy and is super easy to talk with and deal with made all the difference. BTW, the corporate company wanted a certain amount down payment and advance money for paint and materials. Jeff said he wouldn't take anything til the job was complete and we were totally satisfied. I'd recommend Paint Rangers any time to anyone. Deal with a real local guy and save a bundle besides! read more

BUYER BEWARE!!!! They did an ok job but blew it when Jeff the owner decided not to return any of the calls I made requesting follow up "blister repair in a few places. I left multiple calls at 2 different numbers after actually talked to Jeff about it but I guess now that he has been paid ... well screw the customer. BUYER BEWARE!!!! THE WARRENTY MEANS NOTHING. ITS ONLY AS GOOD AS THE PERSONS WORD. NO GOOD! Jeffs word means nothing. He says what you want to hear but chooses to not deliver. I would NOT use Paint Rangers again because of this. read more

We LOVE The Paint Rangers! We received a quote from them over a year ago and due to circumstances on our part we were not able to have the house painted. I contacted him and he immediately responded to me saying that yes they would honor the same quote. We felt that his price was very competitive and that his crew was very professional. His wonderful crew arrived at 8 o'clock in the morning and the whole house was finished by 5 PM very very professional. Our house looks great, when we asked to have a few areas caulked they went back and did it, even though this meant repainting. The Paint Rangers did a great job. Jeff came out to our house and took a lot of time walking the property and offering suggestions for what would make our house look in tip top shape. He had someone out quickly to pressure wash and then an entire crew showed up and did our job in one day. The work was professional and well done. They did a great job in protecting other parts of our home. If there were questions throughout the project from the painting crew, they were quick to respond and made sure that they left our outside as neat and tidy as they found it. Paint Rangers painted my house and for some odd reason the paint bubbled over my entire house. It looks horrible! I have called them many times and finally someone came out and told me that they could not fix it. I am a senior/widow and I really can't afford to pay someone else to come out to repainted.
