Half-and-half, tomahawk steak, and cream spinach. Classic

This place is a fixture of Bay Harbor. I hope it never leaves. I've been coming here for years. They never go wrong. They have the best cuts of steak, the best Italian dishes, and amazing pasta. If you know this area well, you know the spot. The service is great, and if you're a regular, they quickly know you and treat you as one of their own. They care about the little things here. top notch. The Manager, Micheal is a class act and makes you feel welcome

***miami spice menu*** Visited The Palm during Miami Spice month for their $60 menu which included an app, main, side, and dessert. I started with the shrimp cocktail (portion for this menu was 2). They were large and perfect. My main and side included an 8 oz filet which I order medium rare. Cooked to perfection. my side was a creamy savory creamed spinach. I ended with zeppole with 3 sauces. Nice and fluffy. Drinks were not included but I had a Pinot and finished with an espresso martini. Zito was the bartender and even though he was extremely busy he was very friendly and attentive. Hours are limited so this is not a late night steakhouse. It's more intimate with The Palm old school vibe.

The Palm - a stalwart in my life of eating - was my Father's favorite restaurant so we went to honor him on his Birthday yesterday. I was a little hesitant because of the sale to Landry's in 2020. Also, had never been to the one in North Miami so we gave it a whirl. Four to our party. Rez made and arrived to super friendly valet parking and greeted by the manager, Eric. Super accommodating with our preference of seating and sat us immediately (it's a smaller Palm than I'm used to and I loved the ambiance & coziness). Mariaj was our main host and shared the specials and her favorites on the menu. Menu has changed with a nice collection of Palm faves, more salads, seafood towers, the usual huge lobster (4lbs avail that night) plus interesting cuts like the Tomahawk, bone in filet and Lamb chops (which were amazing and pictured below). We started with the Calamari app and shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were the size of my palm (hahaha). Calamari was tasty and cooked to perfection lightly dusted with flour with added cherry peppers and grilled lemon. Their wonderful breadbasket has assorted bread sticks, pumpernickel raisin and Italian breads. Katerina was one of Mariah's helpers and she made sure that we had anything we wanted and did it with such a nice smile and way about her. Let's talk main course: My Mother had the 4lb lobster broiled with EVOO and garlic and it was sweet and tender. Beautiful presentation. Mom likes to crack her own although bussers are available to crack at table side! Husband went for the NY Strip with a side of those amazing mushrooms. Honestly, they were so good I was eating them as a side! Strip was cooked to perfection as mid-rare and he was very happy with the beef quality. Daughter (age 20) decided on the Rib eye and she said it was so tender and cooked correct to temp. Her side was a lobster risotto and well there was none left so there is that!! Like I mentioned earlier I had the lamb that is sourced from Colorado and I felt like I was in Breckinridge that's how high the quality of the meat was. My side of asparagus was done aglio y olio and grilled just the way I like it - firm and flavorful! We decided on key lime pie and chocolate cake for dessert. My mom stated she liked this key lime pie BETTER than Joe's I was shocked! Daughter said one of the best chocolate layer cake she had had in a long time! The place started to hop as it got to 7 although it felt like we were eating at a family restaurant because of all the friendly staff and patrons! There is a bar to sit at as well as private dining options. Had the opportunity to meet the GM Peter and he was super down to earth and seemed genuinely interested on my feedback and his employees. 4 of us and the bill was about $800. We were feeling self indulgent yesterday! The food was spectacular - they take Rez on Open Table. 9650 E. But…read moreI have to rate it a good and not great I will complain though about not getting enough napkins and the loud music should have a schedule where it's not that loud before 7p The time for loud music should be predictable so I can adjust my visits accordingly but it's erratic and lately if theres an error with the food service the managers are not as caring as they were in the past. I recently turned back an undercooked steak and didn't want a replacement so they charged me for the rolls that came free with the meal even though I didn't eat them. I did tell the waitress " no rolls" I'm still not happy about that The old flanigans would have removed the dinner charges and brought free desert I miss that part of the Flanigans service.

There was a special where you could get 10 free wings with the purchase of any pint, including soda. So we got that which was about $12 which saves you a few bucks. The wings were pretty good but it's surprising that celery, ranch etc aren't included since the price of the wings isn't cheap. Other prices on the menu are pretty reasonable, like the burger was $12. The burger was big, not the juiciest, but not bad. And the fries were pretty good. If you're hungry and not much is open, this will do the trick. Vibe of the bar is a little grungy, green lighting in places, and dollar bills with people's names/notes decorated throughout. Our waitress was nice and the service was good.

We came here for a mid-week Spice lunch and were not disappointed!…read more The Ritz feels like a beautiful cruise ship! We walked through the lobby to the restaurant, which is situated overlooking the Haulover inlet (far enough away from the nude beach so your meal is not ruined, LOL!). There is indoor and outdoor seating; both have great views. You can also sit at the bar. The vibe is upscale nautical. The server was great; friendly and just attentive enough! We opted to sit inside as the humidity level was near 100% and there were storm clouds brewing. If you opt to sit inside, bring a cover up as the AC is working very well here! During our meal, the usual afternoon storm arrived and provided a dramatic show, complete with theatrical lightning! We had the ceviche and watermelon feta salad to start. The ceviche was super fresh and beautifully tart. The watermelon on the salad was at peak ripeness! Next, we had the chipotle rubbed shrimp tacos - two tacos with two giant shrimp nestled inside alongside avocado. I did not partake of the cheeseburger, but Larry needed a nap when we got home, so I think it did it's job. The fries that came with it were excellent. I'm not a fan of flan - I dislike the texture - but the taste and presentation were beautiful. The sorbet was a surprising standout. They were out of blood orange, so I was offered mango or lime instead. I have a mango tree that fruits all summer and I am sick of mango at this point, so I opted for lime. It was unbelievably delicious! Tart, creamy even though it's dairy free, absolutely refreshing! In all, Artisan serves basic food executed very well in a beautiful setting with expert service. Well worth it!

Lovely staff all around attentive, warm, and professional. The ambiance inside was on the quieter side and felt a bit stale, with not many people around, but still pleasant. We chose to sit outside for the much nicer view, which definitely elevated the experience. We decided to try the Miami Spice menu, honestly, that's the main reason we picked this spot and it turned out to be a great deal. From appetizers to dessert, everything was enjoyable. While there wasn't a standout "wow" moment with the food, there were no disappointments either just a solid, satisfying lunch. Outside of the Miami Spice pricing, the regular menu does lean on the higher side, so for us, this special menu made it well worth it. Overall, it was a nice afternoon out with good food, great service, and a beautiful view.

I went…read morebecause it was equidistant between me and the person I met, and thought it looked interested based on the photos, the review and the ratings. I had no expectations at all; however, even if I had the highest expectations, it hose would have been exceeded. Morla is such a refreshing experience, and I would go so far to say that it was in the top 5 meals I've had anywhere in South Florida during the last 12 months! I can't rec Morla highly enough, and it is because of the owners, Sharon (front of house) and Rueben (owner-chef)...

We were traveling with our 7-month-old (his first trip!), and I specifically wanted somewhere close to our hotel but still special. I found Morla while searching "best restaurants in Bal Harbour," read through the reviews and their story, and immediately booked. Full disclosure: my husband is not a big seafood person, so this felt like a bit of a gamble. But he does like Peruvian and Mexican flavors... and somehow, Morla completely won him over. By the end of dinner, he said it's one of his favorite restaurants in the world--and we've eaten at quite a few 2-3 Michelin star spots globally. We booked the first seating, which I'd highly recommend if you're dining with a baby. The space feels trendy but still intimate and warm--not stuffy at all. You can really feel that it's a husband-and-wife-run restaurant. To my surprise, my husband went for the tasting menu (again... with a baby in tow ), and every single course delivered. The seafood and ceviche were incredibly fresh, and the flavors were so thoughtful and unique without being overcomplicated. Portions were perfect too. We left satisfied, not overly stuffed or still hungry (which honestly happens a lot with tasting menus). I don't drink right now since I'm nursing, but I had a few small sips of my husband's wine and even that was excellent. What really stood out, though, was how kind and welcoming they were to our baby. We didn't see other kids there, but we never felt out of place. Sharon and Rúben were so warm -- smiling at him, engaging with him, and making us feel comfortable the entire time. No weird looks when he got a little fussy or when I needed to nurse, which any parent will appreciate. All in all, worth every penny. Thoughtful food, genuine hospitality, and just an all-around memorable experience. Would 100% come back.

This is nothing like Motek or Abbale, not even close. From the very first bite, my taste buds (and my expectations) were blown away. We came as a girls' night out, sharing plates and ordering "just one more dish"... and then another. The Truffle Wild Mushrooms Polenta was incredibly rich and silky, deeply earthy without feeling heavy. The Pappardelle Tomato was perfectly cooked, vibrant, and comforting in the best way. And the Cabbage "cacio e peppe"? Unexpected, bold, and absolutely addictive. The raw fish dishes were also a highlight, beautifully sliced, ultra-fresh, and paired with bright citrus, herbs, and crunch that elevated the fish without overpowering it. The grilled fish was crisp on the outside, tender inside, and plated with a smooth, flavorful puree that tied everything together effortlessly. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is a whole vibe. As the night goes on, the lights dim, the music comes on, and it transforms into the perfect setting for a stylish dinner that slowly turns into a fun night out with friends. Chic, warm, and energetic without feeling forced. I left wishing I had more room to try the entire menu, but happily signed up for their VIP rewards program (available to everyone), which basically guarantees my return. Next time, it's another girls' night at Neya, and we're coming hungry. If you love Mediterranean inspired cuisine done with precision, creativity, and soul, Neya is a must.
