My friend and I stopped in for lunch after a great spa visit. We sat at the bar and the bartender greeted us promptly. We each had a cocktail. I started with the pumpkin soup. It was delicious. For our mains I had the Caprese sandwich and my friend had lobster tacos. After eating the soup, it was a large serving. I could not eat my entire sandwich. The bread was fresh and I liked that it had a variety of tomatoes. The food came pretty quickly and the ingredients felt fresh. It was a nice lunch a little pricey.

Y'all know that since Cosmic Gate released "Exploration of Space" the Full Moon on the beach is fixed on my social calendar. Although usually I go to the regular Full Moon party a little further north, a close friend who lives in the area told me about the dinner party at The Strand for Full Moon night. While there's an indoor dining room, we chose to enjoy the sunset vibe and live music outside on the ocean view terrace. We started with a couple of fruity yet strong cocktail specials they had for their lunar dinner. My impression is they were tropical variations on an old fashioned (mine) and martini (hers), with mixers such as egg white creme & blueberries. The bartender did a great job mixing, as they well blended. For dinner, we shared both their Truffle & Prosciutto, as well as a Strawberry Burratini salad. The prosciutto on the pie was generously portioned, thinly sliced, fresh kale & perfectly aromatic truffles. A creamy ball of straciatella cheese over a bed of kale, sliced strawberries & crunchy walnuts made our salad. Both dishes were light, healthy but tasty. James, our server, and his team were pleasant and attentive with bringing our courses and recommendations. I'd definitely recommend this spot for a pleasantly casual dinner.

The group wanted to have a brunch with an elevated ambience and standout dishes so we ventured to The Strand to try out the Miami Spice Menu. If you are looking for an experience that seamlessly blends culinary artistry with heartfelt sustainability, you need to try chef Christopher Robertson's menu. The menu is thoughtful as it is flavorful and the service was friendly. I chose the Heirloom Tomato dish as my first course, it was delicately plated with native pecan oil, basil, truffle pecorino toscano. My second course was the Steak and Eggs. It was an elevated preparation of a comfort classic. Lastly but certainly not least, for dessert, the options shine with simplicity but perfect ending with the Passion Fruit Mousse. You'll want to enjoy a drink at the pool bar called Seaglass. I had the Pastelito, like a Moscow mule but with guava. I was most impressed with chef Robertson's thoughtful sustainability efforts using local farms, plastic-free packaging and other partnerships. It's conscious dining! Loved it and will definitely be back soon.

Wonderful experience! We came to the Full Moon event where they had live music and cocktails under the stats and it was beautiful. The food and cocktails are excellent and the service from the director Ryan Fletcher was exceptional!

I came here on a Friday night to check out the Miami spice menu. The day before I looked online to booked a reservation for 7pm, but none were available, so I called to inquire about bar seating. The hostess, Marcia, cheerfully answered my questions and even made a reservation on my behalf. Upon arrival, Marcia greeted me by name and gave me options for seating. I chose a spot in the corner, which I regretted only because there wasn't much airflow in that area. My server was James and he was great. He provided honest and accurate recommendations. He was attentive, kind, and informed. The fabulously fizzy mocktail was delicious and refreshing! However, I believe it's a bit pricey for a drink without alcohol. The artichoke carpaccio was pretty tasty. I didn't know what to expect but I ate most of it. The white sauce was tasty and the granola added a good crunch. The SPICY PACCHERI ALLA VODKA was simple and good. I do think there could have been a little more flavor in the dish, but I still enjoyed it. The tiramisu was amazing! I'd definitely order that again. The ambience was cute and clean. I loved the sleek look and the distance between the tables. I enjoyed it so much I went to the bar after dinner to enjoy another fabulously fizzy mocktail. I wish they were open later, since they closed at 10 on a Friday. I will definitely return.

Patty was flavorless Fries were good actually best part of the meal but for $34 I expected a juicy flavor packed beef patty Staff was nice Food came out in 15 minutes My advice skip ordering beachside and head over to Publix or Burger Fi

What a wonderful evening under the full moon with a beautiful view of the water, wonderful entertainment, delicious cocktails, and food. This was my first time attending the full moon celebration here. I saw the email with the event info and decided to come try it out. It's a local place I come for lunch and now I'll be coming more for the full moon evenings! The music was great, he had a wonderful voice. The service was attentive and great!

Treated my mom to a spa day for her birthday and we had lunch at The Strand. Food was delicious, the location had a great view. We ordered the burger and the lobster tacos, very very tasty. Service was a little slow for the volume of people that were there at the time, but nothing too bad.

The restaurant is located in the lobby of the hotel and has a chic and stylish atmosphere, perfect for lunch or dinner. I personally have stopped by for lunch a couple of times at this point. The food was definitely a highlight. Every dish we ordered was prepared well. The pizza and the crab salad were great! That being said, the menu though is well-balanced, offers only a mild variety of options, but everything we tried was tasty. Insider info (sort of): the restaurant has a separate space for the limited / exclusive dining experience, which receive the Micheline star recently... I am yet to try that. In addition to the good food, the place has an impressive selection of drinks. The cocktail menu is extensive (including mocktails). However, there was one downside...the beer we ordered was expired ... this was definitely strange, as I anticipated better quality control from a restaurant of this caliber. Another aspect to consider is the price. While the quality of the food and drinks was great, the prices are on the higher side. #bubblytip: Definitely try the "Strand Spritzer" or "Gym Tonic" for a not-so-alcoholic option!

Great lunch spot during our resort pass stay for the day! Definitely pricey, but it's an upscale hotel so this was expected. Everything tasted wonderful. James from Pensacola provided great service! We ate outside with the beautiful weather. Later in the day, we spent time at the bar inside for some mocktails. Beautiful presentation and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

We were whisked inside to the intimate, dimly lit interior with a DJ table tastefully tucked away in the back of the space. Service was welcoming but overall, not quite as warm and attentive as I've experienced at other places in town. We started off with the Turkish Manti Dumplings, which were the standout of the night. The complexity yet restraint of flavor, balancing indescribable buttery, roasted, earthy notes with a touch of umami and subtle tanginess from the yogurt. The Mezze Sampler was a nice option for trying three of the dips. All very tasty, but I've had slightly better elsewhere. The Sweet Jeweled rice was the other standout with flavor and textural variety that made each bite pop. I found the Roasted Brussels Sprouts undercooked and lacking the same level of flavor as the other plates. The weakest dish of the evening. The Grilled Whole Bronzino got top marks from the meat eaters at the table. Overall, 4/5 stars for a delicious meal but with tough competition around town limiting my ability to hit that 5.

Zucchini Latkes were one of my favorite along with the Cauliflower. The seasoning on this was amazing, a bit sweet, and crispy outside. Crispy artichoke I could have done without. But, when I saw they were advertising a Lamb Gyro for $12 (Tuesdays), I took the leap. Seems it wasn't that far to jump. Although there were table cloths, cloth napkins and silverware, with room for a true dining experience, the fan sitting atop the bar, (blowing-off more air than necessary), and the plastic plants on the walls/ceilings threw-off any pretense I had of the place. When I requested the Lamb Gyro, the server pointed to an entree on the menu for me to approve. I made sure there wasn't another (re: pricier) offer. There was... it was the one he suggested. The gyro itself consisted of a bland (Tzatziki?) sauce that struggled to find my taste buds. Lamb (typically) has a gamey/slightly sweet flavor; these cuts seemed to be found from behind their refrigerator, (not from inside). They certainly weren't cut fresh from a spit, as they were old and nearly tasteless. The included slices of onion and peppers, delegated to the pita bottom, (instead of intermingling) barely helped. The French fries (included in the price) were the most flavorful part of the meal; although, they were an insult, rather than accompaniment to the experience. And, was that Latin (instead of traditional Greek) music coming from the speakers? Along with a 20% "Administrative" fee, I won't be tempted to venture in again.
