So if a visitor like me wants to visit and nobody knows how to register my car where the hell am I supposed to park?! I had to pay $500 to get my car out of impound but when I want to visit I have to park far away and I think that's the stupidest thing ever!!!! Verizon 1-2 bars of service with home cellular box or phone If noise bother you: The main road East Palmar St has A LOT (daily average 10-20) of ambulances that visit across the street at the retirement home. Inner streets or inner middle units are best. Neighbors in my unit. Some are amazing. And some smoke weed, cigarettes, and vape all the time and don't care about your health. Pets: they are allowed here. Down sides is barking and fleas. Recommend getting a flea trap for the fleas, even if you don't have pets. Moving in OR Out? TAKE PICTURES, PICTURES, PICTURES! My carpet was cleaned and not changed. Over a few months the carpet changed colors to a very light brown and orange/pink spots, we told the managers and since it wasn't there when we moved in, we are being told we might have to pay for it. Some of the spots are under furniture that's never moved since we moved in and never spilled Or spray anything on the carpet. Parking: Two (one garage and one open). Some people are using the garage for a gym and others things. At night it's hard to park on inside. Street parking fills up afternoon and night. Late night you might have to parked by the Heritage Park. Units: Central AC, some have high ceilings, don't hear your neighbor so much. The school: The traffic sucks when your trying to leave or come home when the school's students are being dropped off and picked up. We only have 1 way in and out. 2nd way is coned off.

Alba has been with us from the start, she's always on top of communication answering all of our questions and concerns. Pete and Ruben are the friendliest grounds keepers and always will help with anything. These apartments are very well maintained, professionally cleaned and sanitized before move in and move out. It's very modern and roomy. Should anything need immediate maintenance they have onsite maintenance there 24/7. That also means if someone trips an alarm or something by accident you won't hear it for hours. Its a very nice gated community with surveillance cameras everywhere and on site patrol at night. The heating and a/c are top notch as well as all the other appliances. We rarely ran into issues but if we did it was fixed super fast. The staff have special events every so often for children as well as free pizza or raffles to win things like full thanksgiving meals, etc. Parking is great theres plenty for cars needing charging stations or cover. The amazon package hub and mail are very secure, easy to use. We had two dogs and it was easy to get them to the designated dog pen. Its all kept very clean! There are so many amazing places nearby to eat and the bay is just up the street! If you're nervous to apply like we were because we had a lot going on at the time that sounded complicated to explain, just try! The staff are very understanding and will try to help you succeed. We are very thankful for the chance we had. There really isn't anything negative to report, we loved this apartment and they were always fair never asking for large increases in rent renewals. They also give plenty of advance notice for fire alarm testing, main hallway carpet cleaning, elevator maintenance, and any in unit quick inspections for yearly fire sprinkler upkeep that is just fast in and out look. On one occasion, someone was urinating and defecating in a bucket on the third floor and spilled it in the hallway. When I reported this, management refused to check and told me to call the police myself. Situations like this are common, and management repeatedly claims the property is "open to the public," so their security team can't intervene. That's unacceptable for a residential building where tenants should feel safe. As a service member, I was especially concerned about leaving my wife here alone during deployment. Management offered no support and simply said I was out of luck. They advertise themselves as "military friendly," but allowing lease termination with deployment orders isn't a benefit -- it's required by law. I did go on deployment and received my letter but dealing with them while preparing for deployment was a stressor itself due to their management If you're looking for poor management, inconsistent communication, people screaming at night, little to no security, homeless people and ongoing safety concerns, this is the place. Management told me I would be compensated, but that never happened. There were also several maintenance issues that were supposed to be fixed and still have not been addressed. The stairs and baseboards need caulking, the flooring is lifting, there are holes in the walls, and the door handles get stuck. The paint rubs off onto your hands, and there is exposed sheetrock in my shower wall that was never painted. The living conditions have also been frustrating. Neighbors smoke and leave cigarette butts in front of my door. When I brought this up to management, they did nothing, even after I explained that my son has asthma. Dogs have pooped in front of my home, and management said they could not do anything without a video. They said they would pick it up, but it stayed there for a whole week until I complained again. Neighbors also put their trash in my garbage can. In addition, the noise level is a major issue. You can clearly hear neighbors arguing and fighting, which makes it feel very uncomfortable and disruptive, especially at night. On top of that, cellphone reception does not work inside the apartment, so I have to go outside to make calls. You are required to get Wi-Fi through them, and it barely works. To make matters worse, my car was towed from in front of my home while I was loading it--after I had already asked management if it was okay to do so. Overall, I would not recommend this property.

Recently most of the tenant who lived there for so many years have moved out due to indirect threats by the management who allowed certain families to move in and use certain set of rules to torture other residents who refused to leave.
