If you are going to eat in Wickenberg Az you should definitely pick this family business over any chain fast food in town . Lots of outdoor seating with umbrellas at the ready and PET FRIENDLY. We felt welcomed and that they present their food with pride , but it still manages to be prepared pretty "fast" as well ! The prices were really good especially since they were very chubby sandwiches! Having stayed in Philly we noted the bread was proper as was the Cheeze Whiz . We really could have shared the chubby cheesesteak (with grilled mushrooms and onions) but I was craving a burger and at only 4bucks for a fat juicy cheeseburger with all the fresh toppings , I was not sorry . We would definitely go here again. Chubbys is possibly even "road trip worthy".

Such a delicious cheese steak. Got the cheesesteak with cheese wiz, it was hot and juicy with caramelized onions. The bread was soft and fresh, the meat was hot and perfectly seasoned. The staff is so nice and the service was fast. Clean shop in a convenient location. 10/10 I would recommend. I will be back soon!

Ok. Let's start with...small town and a local favorite. Then let's move to...OMG, this is really tasty. Then to...wait? That's the price, really ($8 average)! I LOVE SMALL TOWNS!!!!! How can something sooo simple taste so goooood? I didn't get fries because you know....Covid 20#s of growth, but still...you need a chubby!

A buddy and I stopped there today for the first time after 4-wheeling in the desert and we both ordered the cheesesteak with everything and cheese wiz. The sandwich was easily 12" long and loaded with steak and the extras to where it was falling out of the bun for $8.50! The owner making them was from Philly and man was that sandwich AWESOME! I order fries and a small soda as well and could barely finish the fries! Next time, and for sure there will be a next time, I probably won't order the fries, just too much food. The picture I added below is only with half the sandwich! Also I would have easily paid $10 for that sandwich!

I don't usually have a big appetite. These days, when 11 o'clock rolls around I start thinking about Chubby's (even though I ate there the day before). Hands down, the best lunchtime-bang for your buck in town. I've never been to Philly, but I'm assuming these sandos are spot on.

It's no secret in my reviews that I love small, locally owned businesses. The service is a little slow so simply plan for it. Order ahead or be cool to wait a minute. Food made to order takes time. I enjoyed the sandwich and would make one suggestion to season the beef more. When I added some salt and pepper the flavor really took off. The roll was good and the burger was perfect for my kids. I didn't like the fries too much but I was there for the cheese steak. The sandwiches are huge and will easily feed 2 adults.

My burger was good my husband's cheesesteak was good it's at Hometown atmosphere everybody was so friendly and good service I'd come back again four stars because the cheesesteak could've use some Mayo. And the french fries were really crispy

Daaaamn good cheesesteaks and BS'n with Chubby just added to the adventure, I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back, thx for the chat Chubby

This was 1/4 of the cheesesteak.

I rarely feel compelled to write a review but these guys deserve it! We ordered 3 cheesesteaks, 2 hot dogs and 2 burgers. 5 fries! We're a family of 7 and I was worried about having enough. I'm pretty sure the cheesesteaks are on a French loaf. Each one was at least a pound! We shared one and have 2 leftover. Our sons said the burgers were fantastic and we easily had 3x the fries we needed! We paid around $60 and it was more than fair for the amount of food we were given! I also want to thank the young man who works the register! He is we will polite, prompt, refilled my drink while I waited for our food and immediately asked to grab me a new bag when one ripped. His parents are doing something right with him! Skip the chains and make this your Wickenburg food stop!

The new owner is nice but the cheesesteak was as bland as could be and pricey for the size.

When you think #SupportLocal it is harder to think of anything more local than a food truck (save a…read morelemonade stand). Post-pandemic, I'm loving seeing the re-emergence of food trucks throughout the Valley as well as special food truck festivals. For brick-and-mortar restaurants that also have a food truck, it is a convenient way to try new places without traveling. As Forrest Gump said, "My mom always said life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." The same goes for food trucks, really. When I heard that Mr. Munchies was going to be around, I checked around to see what was going to be on offer. Their Instagram had some snaps of mini-donuts and corndogs. Ooh-kay...It turns out that the menu IS corndogs and mini-donuts. Hence, there is truth in advertising the name Mr. Munchies. This food truck is not offering meals per se as much as they are snacks. I ordered the Heavyweight corndog. It was more than a typical corndog as 1/4 pound all-beef frank hand-dipped in cornbread batter and served golden brown. Add some Jalapeno cheddar and you have quite a large corndog. I have never been a corndog person but this was good. It was fried perfectly and crunchy without being dry. Perhaps my only complaint was that at $10 it seemed pricey but food prices are going up. Now, for the donuts. These are also served directly from the fryer. Mr. Munchies has several toppings and flavors available. When I asked if I could mix and match (even six and six) they said no. This totally makes sense from an operational perspective but is also a daunting choice when you are ordering a dozen of something you have never had before. I went with the Reese's Peanut Butter version since it's a flavor I know and like. They claim the mini-donuts are drizzled with Ghiradelli chocolate and Reese's. What I ended up with was a small box of flavorless dough. They weren't sweet and they really didn't have any flavor other than grease. I ate one and stopped there. It is possible that I perhaps chose the wrong flavor. They had several others including a cinnamon sugar one that would perhaps taste better. But the Reese's was an expensive flop at $8. Would I eat at Mr. Munchies again? Probably not. But it is self-described "carnival food" and when you need a quick fix, their corndogs may be the answer.
