    Cheesecake. Sublime

Went her for girls night dinner. It was my first time dining inside. I typically do to go orders so i thought this was the perfect time for a review. We were sat promptly and our server was amazing all night. We let her know up front we'd be staying awhile to talk and we never felt rushed our entire visit! We had the truffles deviled eggs, cheese spaetzel, salmon pate, mushroom flatbread, and veal meatballs. Everything was fantastic. The eggs are always my fav but the mushroom flatbread and spaetzel were a delicious surprise. I will absolutely keep this in my dinner rotation. Try their espresso martini. You'll love it!

Such a nice spot!! Really cool interior with various different spaces and moods. Service from Sierra was excellent and the food was fantastic!! My fish and frites (chips) were very good with some of the best tartar sauce I've ver had. My aunt has the salmon which she enjoyed. But what stole the show was the apple strudel!! So flavorful with a perfect texture!! Must try it!!

On our last night in Little Rock AR before our project team was going to fly back home to our prospective locations, we chose to go to The Pantry for dinner. This was highly recommended according to Yelp and my boss loved it as well. The Pantry did not disappoint at all!! It was a lovely dining experience from beginning to end. The ambiance was gorgeous and very German style to fit the theme of the restaurant. They had photos on the wall to honor former employees of The Pantry, which I thought was a wonderful tribute to the staff who worked at the restaurant for so many years. They even have a Thank You bulletin board where people put Thank You notes for the servers who displayed excellent service during their dining experience. I put a note on the bulletin board for our server for the night because she was absolutely wonderful and amazing to our project team. She displayed first class customer service and did not miss a beat! The food is incredible at The Pantry! I ordered the lasagna and it was the best lasagna I have ever had! It was cooked to perfection and the texture of the pasta was done just right. The flavors of the lasagna came out in every bite and savored in my mouth. I felt like I was in heaven when eating the lasagna because it was that good. For our last dinner in Little Rock, The Pantry did not disappoint me at all and ended on a very high note for me as well. When I do come back to Little Rock, I will be back here at The Pantry for dinner. I loved every minute of it!

Heads or tails (tails is pictured)

Upon walking in, it is super casual very good vibes. It's not too fancy and not too informal. Carlos was my waiter and he is fantastic! (Thanks Carlos!) I started off with a drink. The heads or tails (I ordered tails) and a head up with this drink, it does have a bit of spice from the Ancho Reyes Verde. I wasn't a fan so I ordered a second and had it removed. Then I got the bacon wrapped dates with the goat cheese. You gotta let it cool down before consuming (I was starving). You have to order it with the cheese if you like sweet/salty combo. The place is known for their truffle deviled eggs. So I had to give it a try. It was very creamy and with a nice salty touch from the Parmesan crisp. I wolfed the appetizers but then came the chicken Paprikash. It is very saucy so I recommend ordering the bread to go with it (soak up the sauce once you inhale it). It was a good neutral saucy, not too salty not too bland. Definitely recommend it. For dessert, Carlos recommend the cheesecake but I wanted to try the Nutella crème brûlée. It came in a small ramekin and it had a nice bruleed topping. Due to the size (it's small), I wasn't satisfied so I ordered the cheesecake... MY GOODNESS THE CHEESECAKE! How dare I doubt Carlos' recommendation! The cheesecake had a god crust to cheese ratio and the top was.... BRÛLÉE-D! It was so good that I ordered one to eat tomorrow and one for a friend. I will be coming back to this place next time I'm in LR, AR.

    Seared Salmon with Brussels sprouts
    Julie A.

On a recent road trip in late July we stopped in. Anything German catches our eye- so when we were looking for a unique place for dinner, this was a no brainer. It was a busy midweek evening and the staff were on top of things start to finish. One of not-so-hidden gems is the Truffle Deviled Eggs appetizer which is topped with parmesan crisps. This was our first time trying something with truffle oil. Hubby devoured them saying they were delicious but it wasn't my thing. To be fair, I'm a bonafide southern lady from South Carolina, so my usual deviled eggspectations are a world apart from truffle oil. So I'd encourage you to give them a whirl and see where you land as were split fifty/fifty. Next up, hubby ordered the Pantry Pie which is a Hungarian Goulash. He felt it was very tasty and the meat was buttery tender. For the meat and potato lover in your life- this is a win win. I opted for the Seared Salmon which had spinach with quinoa. Instead of the charred asparagus, I swapped for brussels sprouts. Everything was cooked to perfection and extremely fresh. The decor inside was beautiful as well. Since it was so busy it was impossible to take photos aside from the food. If we are ever in the area again, we'd definitely return to this West location or try their Crest location.

Fried pork chops and asparagus over mashed potatoes and gravy

Where do we start? Nice ambiance. Excellent food and service. We ordered the brussel sprouts and spatzle for a starter, both of which were excellent. The special tonight was a rustic bowl of (large) fried pork chops and asparagus over mashed potatoes and gravy. Excellent flavors, tender meat, and the grilled asparagus was perfection. Could you please open a franchise in Peoria, Arizona?

The Pantry in West Little Rock offers Czech and German classics. The bar is beautiful as you walk in. On my recent visit, I tried the seared tilapia, which was perfectly cooked and bursting with butter flavor. Additionally, I ordered the arugula pear salad with shrimp, which was equally fantastic. To start, I had their take on pesto dip. Admittedly, I overordered, but it was worth it. This spot looked to be consistently rated as one of Little Rock's best restaurants. Tomas and his team believe that becoming one of the best was hard work. Staying there is, well, delicious. Love it!

    Weiner schnitzel
    Cindy J.

Came here on a Wednesday night, plenty of seating. Our service, the food and the overall experience was A+. Got the weiner schnitzel as recommended by our waitress, who also recommended a lot of the menu but did not steer me wrong! Got the house made ricotta and I could have licked the bowl clean. Food did not take long to come out, our waitress was extremely friendly and tried to get us to order dessert, but we were stuffed. She brought out some tiny cookies from the kitchen anyway. Highly recommend if you're looking for quality German food. This is a must visit.

I had the Salmon with grilled asparagus, quinoa, and spinach. Magnificent meal. Service was superb. The restaurant had a Euro/contemporary atmosphere. It was comfortable and relaxed. Will return!

This was my first time visiting a Cheba Hut, and I have to admit, walking into a restaurant that is completely marijuana-themed is different, but honestly kind of fun. The vibe is unique, laid back, and memorable without feeling sketchy or over-the-top. The cashier was on the quieter side, but she was extremely polite, respectful, and genuinely helpful while ordering. Customer service overall was solid. Now for the food and pricing, this is where things get a little mixed. My total came out to $21.38 for an 8-inch sandwich, a drink, and a Goo Ball. At that price point, I expected something close to one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Unfortunately, while the flavor delivered, the portion-to-price ratio absolutely did not. I tried the Goo Ball first: Krispies, peanut butter, cocoa, honey, butter, and marshmallows rolled into a ball. Honestly? This thing was $3.59 worth of disappointment. It was bland, underwhelming, and somehow managed to taste like almost nothing despite all those ingredients. Maybe this hits differently if you're stoned, but for me it just wasn't worth the money at all. 2/10 For the sandwich, I ordered the "5-0": Smoked ham, Genoa salami, prosciutto, pepperoni, bacon, giardiniera peppers, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, Shake, and house dressing. Food came out in about 9 minutes, which is pretty reasonable. Flavor-wise? The sandwich was actually really good. The meats and dressing worked well together, the bread was solid, and overall it tasted fresh and satisfying. I'd honestly give the flavor an 8/10. But the value? That's the problem. For a $12 sandwich, the portions felt skimpy: - 2 slices of pepperoni - 1 slice of bacon cut in half - 2 slices of salami - 1 slice of cheese - 1 tomato slice cut in half - maybe 1/8 of a pickle slice There was genuinely more lettuce than every other topping combined. It felt like a sandwich built to look full instead of actually being full. If this sandwich were priced around $8-9, I'd probably leave happy. But at $12+, I expected a much more generously stacked sub. Cheba Hut has a cool concept, clean restaurant, and tasty food, but the pricing versus portion size keeps this from being a place I'd regularly come back to. Great vibe, decent sandwich, disappointing value.

One of our friends (and a Little Rock native) recommended Boulevard Bread Company, and we're so grateful that we stopped to check this cute spot out! There are a few Boulevard locations in Little Rock, and while this one wasn't the most convenient to the highway, it was still open for lunch as we were driving through the city around 2:30 PM. I placed our order online from the road, so when we pulled in, our sandwiches were ready and waiting! I'm glad we did order ahead, as they were still pretty busy when we arrived. We grabbed a table and enjoyed our lunch inside the cafe. We split a couple of their signature sandwiches, and our favorite of the two was the pastrami. The rye bread pairs quite nicely with the roast beef. We also shared the turkey sandwich, which was good but not as memorable as the pastrami. I can confidently say that we'd make Boulevard our new go-to road trip stop in Little Rock! From the freshly baked bread and tasty sandwiches to the friendly service, this is a solid spot for lunch.
