The crew cleaned up every day, was courteous to the team working inside the house, and spent ample time on the prep work to correct a former painter's job and ensure a superior finished product. For the limewash, they steered me in the right direction on color and customized the application and mixture to achieve my desired finish. After I told her the measurements she insisted I only needed 2 rolls. I told her I was nervous about only ordering 2 rolls. She said, "I calculated it twice, you only need 2 rolls.". I Trusted HER. As each year goes by the floors look worse and I regret that I didn't do my work to find a better flooring company. The problems started when the crew mgr. called me to come to the house due to a small section of hardwood I added that wasn't going in right. He did come up with a solution that worked. But, I noticed the color of the floors in the kitchen, dining room and foyer were different than the color in the family room, but they kept going and didn't stop to tell me that there was a problem, the family room and kitchen run together as one big room! (Apparently the wood in the family room was a different grade of wood than the kitchen.) The color that I asked for was in the family room. The crew leader said that since they did all the other floors, they would only redo the color in the family room. I said absolutely not, that isn't the color that I asked for. The crew started yelling at me in Spanish, they were not happy. I'm not sure what they didn't do, but after a couple of years, my floors were a mess. Lots of color kept coming off when mopping them (I waited several months before mopping), and the floor is dull in places and not smooth and there are gashes in the wood that I never had before. I do have a dog, but I've always had dogs and never have had this problem. I also had to work with the crew, Doug, who's the owner didn't handle any of my problems, he said I needed to work with the crew. My mother had just passed away, this entire experience with D & D was one that I really regret.

The call was returned and I was told it would be the middle of November, another six weeks. I posted a note on Mint Hill Carpets Facebook - his reply was I'm sorry I could not get you on my schedule. This company wasted over 2 months or more of my time. I now have to start over looking at floors again. I was so upset with this company.
