We kicked things off with a delicious Sampler Platter featuring crispy boudin balls, fried green tomatoes, cheese sticks, and bacon-wrapped shrimp. Everything arrived piping hot, fresh, and full of flavor! For my entrée, I chose the Chargrilled Salmon topped with a rich lemon butter sauce. I swapped the rice for green beans, and it also came with a fresh vegetable medley. The salmon was perfectly cooked--moist, tender, and never dry. Just the way I like it! My husband ordered the Atchafalaya Catfish--blackened catfish fillets topped with crawfish tails and a buttery lemon sauce, served with dirty rice and green beans. He gave it two thumbs up! Our waitress was incredibly sweet, attentive, and patient--even though we had her running back and forth taking care of everything we needed. She simply enlisted a little help when necessary and still made sure everyone at our table was taken care of. You could tell she genuinely cared about making sure we had a good time. The food was really good, but the drinks and appetizers were OUT OF THIS WORLD! Definitely don't skip those!
