I am a very reactive, and talkative person, I get it, but I save that for movies at home. We're not here for everyone's commentary, we're here to watch a movie. Fun day. Lots to do...great places to eat nearby...most stores have friendly service. Lots of kids, but this is a mall after all.

My issue is largely with the mall operations. Complete lack of notification of locking doors and the security guards are more interested in listening to their music than being any damn assistance in locating an exit. Eventually had to take an emergency exit with a leaving employee because this location makes it nearly impossible to leave via an exit. Completely ridiculous. The mall was a good experience overall. I was able to get several nice Christmas gifts from Dillards, however when I visited the restrooms I was underwhelmed and a little grossed out. We visited Dallas for my son's football tournament over the weekend and was able to visit Parks Mall @ Arlington. This mall was a nice size and had all the stores including a Nordstrom Rack, Dicks, Finish line, Champs, foot locker& Macy's. The food court contained several restaurants and we were able to find sometime to satisfy everyone's taste buds. The mall was very clean, peaceful, & felt very safe. There seems to be no air condition on here it's also really crowded for the amount of people to be there without any air circulating. Some stores have air and some don't. The Parks Mall at Arlington has been the premier mall in the city since it opened in 1988. Like most, buying trends for my family have changed, and with COVID, even more so. Now when I go the Parks, I go to specific stores like Macy's, Dillard's, and Dick's Sporting Goods, and I really do not spend a lot of time inside the mall. Overall, the mall has good stores, a Cheesecake Factory, and I can honestly say, I have never eaten in the food court. read more

Even before COVID, this mall was empty. All the stores have a poor selection of clothing. The interior of this mall looks like it's standing on its last legs. The only store with a semblance of business is the huge Barnes and Nobles upstairs. They have an ice skating rink with rooms whose purpose is birthday party hosting. They're closed right now due to COVID, but partying at home looks more fun than having a party in this mall anyway. read more

I like the Parks at Arlington. The mall seems well maintained and even though there aren't as many escalators as I would like, it is a very nice mall. They have something for everyone, it seems. From dining at the Cheesecake Factory, to shopping at Nordstrom Rack or ice skating at the indoor rink, there are plenty of shops, restaurants and entertainment to go around. On Black Friday, we were lucky to find a space close to one of the entrances, and it didn't seem THAT crowded inside. Which was nice. They had pictures with Santa in the main atrium area and the food court was filled with people standing in line for chick fil a or resting from shopping. I liked that there was a Barnes and noble, Victoria's Secret, and bath and body works. There was also an AMC movie theater. You can definitely spend a whole day here! I also liked that as we exited the mall, there was an employee shuttling people to their cars! So nice! read more

Do you remember when Mervyn's sat where Forever 21 is now and the Warner Brother's store enjoyed prime real estate between the main escalators? Now you can find high end stores (Nordstrom Rack, Gucci, Coach, etc) and of course plenty of bourgeois stores that are the blood and bones of the Parks Mall (Agaci, Charlotte Russe, Aero, etc. No H&M though.) Parents of Little Ones (LO): The best 5 bucks I've spent here was on the all-day carousel wristbands. Once my LO gets on, one ride ($2) is seldom sufficient. For FREE fun, check out Barnes and Nobles kid section and stick around for their story times (see B&N website for details), or visit the play area right outside Sears. Be warned though: even though there's a height limit and other rules for the play area, no one enforces them so there will be the occasional 3rd-grader wielding 80-lbs of person at your barely-walking baby. Your big kids have options too though! Round 1 (bowling and arcade) recently opened right next to the ice-skating rink. Both these attractions are under the AMC movie theater, which is within sight of the food court. Even with all the upgrades and make-overs the Parks has undergone, I still dread the parking and wish they offered multiple valets, especially during the holidays. My "insider tip" is to go up to the 3rd or 4th floor of the main parking garage by the food court and park close to the stairs/elevators, or go up to the 2nd garage by Macy's. It's not too bad if you go in the middle of the week, but it can get uncomfortably crowded on the weekends. read more

Good overall mall with a great variety of shopping options, anchor stores, kiosks, food court options, and entertainment options. They work hard to maintain a holiday / seasonal appeal, good staffing levels, security, and maintenance. The restrooms are well kept, and the hand sanitizer stations are full. The children's play area is orderly and clean, with plenty of seating areas to be used by all. As for the anchor stores, Macys, Dillard's, Sears, JC Penny hold court with a number of others that are larger draws. Nice mall. Clean with many stores to select from and plentiful parking. We frequent this mall when we are in town for a Rangers game.

The parks is a nice place to shop. Ot actually beats some of the outdoor malls. Every time I visit I feel like I'm strategic with my parking and shopping. Otherwise you can get lost in the mix of just wandering. I often like to park upstairs near Dillard because theres less traffic there and I'm able to get in and put without fighting through the crowds. I do recommend to visit this mall in the morning as after the afternoon it can sometimes get a lil too crowded. read more

There's a White Barn here, a MAC, a Sephora, an ice skating rink, a Japanese arcade, a dope food court and a B&N. This is like, half of an Asian girl's dream come true. Either way, I had so much fun running around here and looking at all the different stores and spots and just... everything. I agree that this mall was much better before they expanded it. There are too many kids there now, and it's impossible to do any shopping on a weekend. It's so crowded that I get claustrophobic when I go there, and I feel like I'm in a cattle drive, but a cattle drive of preteens dressed like hookers and making out with their boyfriends. Being at this mall makes me feel old, because I constantly want to tell these kids to put some clothes on or ask where their parents are. If you're coming from North Arlington, I think you're much better off going to North East Mall in Hurst. In defense of the Parks Mall, it's pretty decent if you can manage to go at a time when kids are in school. read more
