She was so patient while we designed the piece and allowed us to modify the placement until it was just what we wanted. We never felt rushed or that we were being a pain. I love how the tattoo came out. She really listened to what we were looking for and made little tweaks and adjustments along the way as it took shape. I would totally come back here if I was in town again. If you go, and I recommend you do, seek out Devin!!! (She's finishing up my sis's tattoo right now and it's 11:30pm. Wow! What a trooper. First, I have two pieces from Lydia now and while she typically does a lot more intricate work, she never bats an eye to fit me in for a quick and simple design. Both of my experiences with her have been so quick and painless, I cannot recommend her enough. As for the shop, it is a tiny little place that shows up big with wall to wall decoration and funny little assortment of books to read while you wait. During my time there, I observed what was a very obvious camaraderie among the staff. Happy employees are always a great sign that a business is doing something right, and I believe Electric Panther is! I will certainly be returning next time I get a tattoo itch!

The shop is extremely clean and well kept. There were 2 artists busy with customers and Abel was preparing for his next appt. After a few minutes of speaking with Abel, I felt really comfortable with him and what he had in mind for my tattoo. I asked if he could fit me in today and he said, yah of course after my next appt, which shouldn't take long. When his client came in, Abel asked him if he could take care of me first which shouldn't take very long at all. I really didn't expect that and his client was more than happy to oblige. WOW ! It took Abel a few minutes to get set up and then we were ready. It only took about 30 minutes from start to finish and it turned out better than what I thought. I've got a bigger piece that I want next and there is no doubt where I am coming back too. Abel is top-notch and he does hella work !! I highly recommend !

It was a traumatic experience for me. I had made an appointment with an artist separately, Jordan, he was great. However, him and the owner had had previous issues, and midway through the tattoo, the owner had decided to fire him then and there. He said that if he did not leave, he would call the cops. My artist insisted that I finished my tattoo at least, and the owner said no. No? I was in shock. I left that day with an unfinished piece and a half done post up wrap and sterile. I would like to add that this took me 6 months to find another artist to finish up the tattoo, and I paid full price for just half of the tattoo. I would like to say this, which is the biggest part. This tattoo was on my spine. I did not have my top on, and the owner came into the room without any permission from me. This was vulnerable for me and I did not feel safe. I believe everyone should feel safe during their tattoo, and I was not. In addition, he threw the money at me, which was for my artist, and insisted I leave as well. Overall, as a young woman coming into this tattoo shop alone, I was shaking heading to my car. Do not go here. Do not go here if you want to risk leaving with a half done tattoo. I would like to say I am an all A student and I'd like to think a good citizen. I rarely make yelp reviews. Please trust me on this. I'd also like to say the owner keeps accusing me of theft? I called Custom Ink Tattoo a couple of times and both times I believe it was Divianna "D" that answered and she was super nice. When I went in to finally get my septum pierced, she was super friendly and approachable. The piercing went smoothly and I am very happy with the result! My cousin, daughter and I were looking to add a tattoo in honor of our grandmother who passed away a few years ago. We had decided on different lilies. Roman worked with us. We were very excited after seeing his portfolio. During the session he was so great with my daughter seeing that this was her first tattoo. He was just as steady with me and cousin. His line work was so clean! I decided I wanted a little free form color and he delivered. I can't stop looking at it. The shop vibe was chill with good tunes, clients checking out, complimenting and exchanging stories about each other's tatts. Definitely recommend and come for another.
