I first went to Skylar right before my wedding to see if I would like lash extensions and for a bridal makeup trial. She was amazing. Lashes and makeup were incredible. I am super picky and she would try exactly what I asked and was incredibly patient. The day of the wedding she did my wedding party and myself and damn did we look good. I called on a saturday morning, and I was able to get an appointment for the same day (pretty rare for the holiday season)! I got a bit lost trying to find the salon, but with some help from the front desk, I found it. The salon itself is so cute, and very clean! Ashley O. did a great job - she talked with me about my usual hair routine, and sent me for a wash (which was AMAZING - it was more like a massage, really. so relaxing!) then she made a few recommendations based on my hair type/routine, and gave me a good trim. I liked that she explained her approach, and talked me through each step. Then she dried and styled my hair in a beachy wave, and she showed me how to achieve the same effect at home. It was easy to make an appointment. The service I received there was personalized and not rushed at all. I left feeling relaxed and beautiful. Needed a change and liked the look of this place so gave it a try. I am very impressed and will definitely be going back. Place is beautiful and very clean. Leigh cut and highlighted my hair. I have had many versions of highlights over the years but this is the best yet. She really knows her craft and gave me beautiful caramel colored highlights on my dark hair that aren't too red or too blond. I love the haircut and blow out too. Then Dema did my makeup. I needed a change after doing makeup the same for years and I love what she did and she was so generous explaining to me her tips for my skin type and age. I was able to take pics of the products she used so I can try to recreate the look on my own. I love my new look and will definitely be back. read more

I cannot say enough nice things about Mike and Oksana. They worked on my husband's and my hair for a wedding we attended in the area. He had a trim and a blow out with Mike (he has long hair), and I got a blow out and curls from Oksana. My curls were perfect. I didn't fuss with my hair all night as I usually do because it was exactly as I had wanted it. My husband loves his cut and the way his hair looked at the event. If I could give this salon a 0 I would. Horrible ombré job. I paid $200 and spent 4 hours at this salon. It came out looking like dull highlights. The girl had no idea what she was doing...even though she had ombre herself. She attempted to curl my hair to try and see if there was a difference and there wasn't. She even took me outside with a mirror to try and see if there was any color difference. You could barely see the weird highlights in the end. Did I mention she was training someone also?! I ended up calling back later (after asking people for their opinion on if you could tell there was a difference) and telling the manager. She wouldn't give me a refund and ended up screaming at me for an hour accusing me of ripping other salons off.. Like Seriously?! After being yelled at by the manager and telling her all I wanted was an ombré and I didn't get what I wanted, she finally agreed to refund me......I still have not received the credit/refund. Update: The owner contacted me on here and let me know one of his front desk girls pretended to be his manager and if there was anything he could do to rectify the situation. Love this salon for a number of reasons: really talented stylists who provide current cuts and color and do so in a warm, welcoming, casual environment. You are greeted upon arrival, offered something to drink, sit and meet with your stylist first and they actually care about what YOU want to look like (but are not afraid to make suggestions or provide guidance for what might suit you more). WOW - I called today as a new customer and the female who answered the phone was so incredibly rude and talked over me. I told her I needed an appointment after 3:15 today, and she kept talking over me asking me to come in at 12 Noon, or 1:00 pm or 2:00 pm. I finally had to tell her to be 'quiet' and let me speak.
