I tried J on Madison about 1 year ago when I was looking for a new salon & stylist, am I glad I did! Angela does my color flawlessly and helped me grow out a botched hairstyle into a lovely shoulder length style that looks great even when I blow it out! Great consultation and discussion prior to doing anything to my hair. The salon itself is lovely in a renovated Victorian style home, with on premise parking or easy street parking . It is a full service salon with nails waxing and massage! They have multiple level stylists and the salon manager can assist in making a recommendation for a stylist based upon what you are looking for. I cannot say enough good things about Angela. I followed her here from her previous salon and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair. Angela is the absolutely queen of color and knows exactly how to handle my half wavy/half curly hair. I trust Angela so much I asked her to do mine and my braidsmaids' hair for my wedding. She blew me away with her braiding skills and pulled together my complete fairytale look I was going for. This is the nicest salon I have ever stepped foot in. Everyone there is beyond friendly and so welcoming from the time you walk in until the time you leave. The main reason I go there is for Angela. She listens to what you want done and will advise you as to what she thinks and that's what I love. I always leave there with the color and cut I want. Amazing experience from start to finish! The decor is simple yet so elegant and refreshing. The products are fabulous and with the multiple chandeliers and fireplace you will feel both comfortable and spoiled.
