Went here with a group of five for the Packer game and we're really grateful to get a table! The owner checked in with us a couple times and was really friendly. At first our waiter wasn't as friendly but he warmed up! Definitely order the pretzel appetizer, and some wings! Their tangy gold sauce is definitely five stars. Check this out the next time you're in the area!

This is a smaller bar on Market Street, but don't let that scare you away! The bartenders here were so friendly, and let us try different things. He gave me a mixed shot based on what he thought I would like, and it was good! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They made great conversation, and other customers were friendly as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is such a fun, chill place to hang out for some drinks![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Stopped in for happy hour and a bite before another event in the area. What a pleasant surprise. The Passport has an excellent HH M-F 4-7pm with wells, drafts, and house wines at $6. Their house white is a refreshing Spanish white, fitting for the travel theme of the space. Our bartender doubled as our server and was very attentive. We tried the quarter sheet of green chile nachos, which was a good-sized portion. We also decided to split our server's other favorite--the Royale with Cheese. This smash burger was cooked well with the right amount of toppings. There was also a plentiful portion of fries. I highly recommend The Passport if you are in the area, as the prices are very reasonable.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]As an avid traveler, I love the decor and theme The Passport has run with.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I have heard some good things about The Passport as it has been named as a place to check out from the local Denver magazines. For being in Larimer, The Passport has a great Happy Hour menu with great deals. We split the quarter pan of green chili nachos - perfect for two and it was pretty darn good. Our server stated her favorite thing to eat here was the Royale burger, so we gave it a shot. It is a VERY good smashburger. Many places attempt a smashburger, but only a few succeed. The Passport absolutely succeeded in having this on their menu! I ordered off of their cocktail list and tried The Passport's Fresh Squeezed. It was ok. I think if I had ordered it sans sprite, it would have been a bit more refreshing and less syrupy. Still enjoyed the drink - and they have the good ice as well :) The do have drinks on happy hour as well as the drinks on the cocktail list do not have HH pricing. Our server was very attentive to us despite the growing crowd on a Monday evening. Of note, there is an extra fee charge for all card transactions when you go to pay. I would definitely would go to The Passport again when I am in the area.

Pubcrawl during st paddy's day-wicked fun!!! I would recommend it but please don't drive. Make plans to stay downtown or have a reliable DD.

The Passport ambiance is relaxed, friendly and upscale. The new layout of this space has opened it up so much to create great flow and movement. The service is exceptional: I love the engaged conversation from the staff and they are diligent about their cocktail creations. I love this place for exquisite cocktails, getting some work done and hanging out with friends

Bedlam was recommended to us for late night drinks by staff working in one of the restaurants at our hotel. During our short stay in Denver, we went to Bedlam twice. The first time was around 11:30 on a Thursday night. We had a few cocktails along with a cheese and charcuterie plate. The second time was around 12:30 on a Saturday night when we came in for a night cap. The first time we came in, it wasn't too busy, and we were encouraged to sit wherever we wanted. The bar was full so we chose a small table. Our server gave us menus, though specials were written on a chalkboard above the bar. We each tired a couple of cocktails and had a shot called the Master Shot. We also chose the make-your-own charcuterie board. Our favorite drink was the Woo Girl, which allowed us to choose our spirit of choice. I chose gin and my friend chose tequila. When we returned a couple of nights later, we knew already we were going to order the Woo Girl cocktail. It was packed on a Saturday night, but there was a small table in back where they seated us. This bar is more for spending time with the friends you come with, rather than mingling, as staff seats you at a table. It doesn't seem like they offer standing room or just squeezing in, though maybe we just didn't experience that. That said, all in all, I really enjoyed Bedlam and recommend it to anyone going to Denver.

My friends and I tried a number of the signature cocktails and had a few hot toddys that were super good. I'm personally a big gin and soda fan and loved ther housemade tonic that was in their classic G&T. Did not try any of the food but the dawgs were definitely would be tempting if I was hungry. Loved the decor and the plants all up in the space. The space is a bit more dimly lit and I think of a reasonable volume for a date. Would love to come back and spend some more time here.

That's when I came across Dearly Departed and I'm so glad I did. We arrived right when they opened at 5pm and were able to walk in and be seated immediately. The speakeasy is tucked into the underground portion of the restaurant, which adds to the charm. The space is beautifully decorated, moody, intimate, and effortlessly upscale. It truly sets the tone the moment you walk down. We ordered two spritzes and a charcuterie board, and both exceeded expectations. The drinks were refreshing, perfectly balanced, and felt elevated without being overcomplicated. But the real star was the charcuterie board. For $20, it was an incredible value, stacked with a variety of meats, cheeses, fresh veggies, nuts, and peppers. The freshly grilled bread was a standout touch, and the portions were more than generous. Every bite felt thoughtfully curated, and there was something new and delicious in every corner of the board. Between the ambiance, the quality of the drinks, and the impressive food, Dearly Departed delivered an experience that felt both cozy and refined. I'd absolutely recommend checking it out for the atmosphere alone. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying more from their menu.

Cozy spot for some classy bites and cocktails. I think I probably got off on the wrong foot when I asked for sparkling water instead of flat and found out it was $7 per personal mini bottle (and they don't have club soda). My first time encountering that in Denver in the last 14 years... The cocktail concept is cool: pick a classic, slightly updated, or super creative version from 5 categories (martini, old fashioned, sour, spritz, highball). The spicy mango sour (with mezcal) was awesome -- although I expected egg white on a sour. The martinis were ok... a bit of a let-down in today's collection of Denver martinis at other local spots (think anchovy, sour cream and onion, holy trinity, and old bay). The food was also hit or miss. We loved the cauliflower/potato Bravas with the slightly spicy sauce, as well as the croquettes and their sauce. The tuna crudo was super bland, which is disappointing for $19.

Great for a date or if you are impressing someone. Don't let the location scare you off- everything around it looks closed but once you get inside it's absolutely beautiful. I can't end this review without gushing about the staff. I had a weird fainting episode and scared the crap out of my friend- our server and the rest of the staff were on it, so sweet and helpful. Laid back vibe and welcoming staff. Nothing pretentious at all. The bartenders were knowledgeable and gave great suggestions. Always stayed on top of my drinks. The thing I like most about Death & Co is the way the categorize their drinks: Light and playful, bright and confident, elegant and timeless, boozy and honest, and rich and comforting. I had the aqua profunda (cognac, St. George basil eau di vie, lillet rose, strawberry, lime, and absinthe). I also had the eight limb daiquiri (rum, Canada aguardiente, Thai tea cordial, lime leaf, and Maraschino). The Blood Oath (mezcal, Vecchio del capo, Calabrian chili amaro, St. Germain Elderflower, lavender, honey, lemon). All were complex and delicious. You could pick out every flavor, yet everything melded together so well. They also have some basic bar food and snacks, but somewhat elevated. I had the D&C Burger and it was juicy, rich, and had some great accompanying fries. I usually try to give a more in depth idea of cocktails available, but Death & Co has such a diverse menu with so many amazing craft cocktails that I can't offer that this time . . . you'll have to go in and see it for yourself!
