KP helped me and my friend, great conversation and a fantastic Moscow mule! I will certainly be coming back. Awesome vibe with a pool table and smaller seating arrangement. Side note : bar mix includes wasabi peanuts and they will definitely catch you off guard.

Super nice staff. Bob the bartender was friendly and directed us to some great drinks after a long weekend of working a convention. Great drink selection that was much need and appreciated.

This is a very pretty bar in the lobby of Aloft Hotel and across from Embassy Suites. I came here because of YELP reviews. I was expecting cool craft cocktails because of the reviews, but when we arrived, the bar was fairly empty. The bartender seemed like he would prefer us to order something like beer or wine, versus a cocktail, and when I inquired about one mentioned on Yelp, he said that was probably discontinued. I ordered one from the menu and it was okay. My husband just ordered rye with bitters. Neither of us loved our drink. It's really too bad because it is a pretty bar with comfortable seating. I don't know what the good night is for this place, but we were there on a Friday around 10pm. We would try it again, but bring some people with us and see if there is a different bartender!

I do not come to Denver very often. But my husband and I were staying in the hotel near the bar and were visiting our friend who is staying at the aLoft this bar is connected to this hotel and very stylish. The bartender was first pretty quiet but then we did get into a conversation. Drinks were good and fairly priced we had a good amount of drinks and paid $55. There's a free pool table as well :) might be back it's a very artsy place

Comfortable place to hang out for HH drinks and a game of pool. Sort of quiet place, easy-going place.

Bedlam was recommended to us for late night drinks by staff working in one of the restaurants at our hotel. During our short stay in Denver, we went to Bedlam twice. The first time was around 11:30 on a Thursday night. We had a few cocktails along with a cheese and charcuterie plate. The second time was around 12:30 on a Saturday night when we came in for a night cap. The first time we came in, it wasn't too busy, and we were encouraged to sit wherever we wanted. The bar was full so we chose a small table. Our server gave us menus, though specials were written on a chalkboard above the bar. We each tired a couple of cocktails and had a shot called the Master Shot. We also chose the make-your-own charcuterie board. Our favorite drink was the Woo Girl, which allowed us to choose our spirit of choice. I chose gin and my friend chose tequila. When we returned a couple of nights later, we knew already we were going to order the Woo Girl cocktail. It was packed on a Saturday night, but there was a small table in back where they seated us. This bar is more for spending time with the friends you come with, rather than mingling, as staff seats you at a table. It doesn't seem like they offer standing room or just squeezing in, though maybe we just didn't experience that. That said, all in all, I really enjoyed Bedlam and recommend it to anyone going to Denver.

My friends and I tried a number of the signature cocktails and had a few hot toddys that were super good. I'm personally a big gin and soda fan and loved ther housemade tonic that was in their classic G&T. Did not try any of the food but the dawgs were definitely would be tempting if I was hungry. Loved the decor and the plants all up in the space. The space is a bit more dimly lit and I think of a reasonable volume for a date. Would love to come back and spend some more time here.

That's when I came across Dearly Departed and I'm so glad I did. We arrived right when they opened at 5pm and were able to walk in and be seated immediately. The speakeasy is tucked into the underground portion of the restaurant, which adds to the charm. The space is beautifully decorated, moody, intimate, and effortlessly upscale. It truly sets the tone the moment you walk down. We ordered two spritzes and a charcuterie board, and both exceeded expectations. The drinks were refreshing, perfectly balanced, and felt elevated without being overcomplicated. But the real star was the charcuterie board. For $20, it was an incredible value, stacked with a variety of meats, cheeses, fresh veggies, nuts, and peppers. The freshly grilled bread was a standout touch, and the portions were more than generous. Every bite felt thoughtfully curated, and there was something new and delicious in every corner of the board. Between the ambiance, the quality of the drinks, and the impressive food, Dearly Departed delivered an experience that felt both cozy and refined. I'd absolutely recommend checking it out for the atmosphere alone. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying more from their menu.

I had the eggs Benedict with duck, which was savory and tender- would get again, even if it was a little small for a $22 meal. I also got a mimosa and a raspberry beret- the beret was delicious and served with the coolest presentation- they used dry ice to create smoke! The decor is very maximalist mid century- love it! Great for a date or if you are impressing someone. Don't let the location scare you off- everything around it looks closed but once you get inside it's absolutely beautiful. I can't end this review without gushing about the staff. I had a weird fainting episode and scared the crap out of my friend- our server and the rest of the staff were on it, so sweet and helpful. They got me a cold towel and an ice bucket so that I could recover. I was so impressed by how they handled everything! Ultimately, I would come back just for the service, but the food and drinks were excellent as well. Definitely worth returning for!

Laid back vibe and welcoming staff. Nothing pretentious at all. The bartenders were knowledgeable and gave great suggestions. Always stayed on top of my drinks. The thing I like most about Death & Co is the way the categorize their drinks: Light and playful, bright and confident, elegant and timeless, boozy and honest, and rich and comforting. I had the aqua profunda (cognac, St. George basil eau di vie, lillet rose, strawberry, lime, and absinthe). I also had the eight limb daiquiri (rum, Canada aguardiente, Thai tea cordial, lime leaf, and Maraschino). The Blood Oath (mezcal, Vecchio del capo, Calabrian chili amaro, St. Germain Elderflower, lavender, honey, lemon). All were complex and delicious. You could pick out every flavor, yet everything melded together so well. They also have some basic bar food and snacks, but somewhat elevated. I had the D&C Burger and it was juicy, rich, and had some great accompanying fries. I usually try to give a more in depth idea of cocktails available, but Death & Co has such a diverse menu with so many amazing craft cocktails that I can't offer that this time . . . you'll have to go in and see it for yourself!
