BEWARE!!! READ BEFORE VISIT! Short: Be ready to do all the leg work while paying extra. I paid $129 extra to drive back and forth for an hour. Long: This is an unnecessary middle man business that quietly poses as a government service agency. The name itself, "The Passport Office" sounds official enough to uninformed soon to be travelers, such as myself. Though the reality is that you will pay them to simply fill out the same exact form you can do yourself at the post office. Please keep in mind, this does not cover your post office fees as at all. I've been lied to and cheated by this business; and feel utterly frustrated. They assured me that, only they could expedite my passport in 12 business days. They then had me drive to a public post office 30minutes out of my way, only to find out by the US postal employee (bless her), that I only needed to come to post office in the first place. When I returned with my sealed documents and confronted my consultant, Raquel Castellanos, she denied her previous statements assuring me they would help more more than the post office's services. I'm sure I appeared tired, frustrated, and upset to her. Yet I was only met with a defensive attitude. 0/5 Never to return. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND JUST GO TO THE FEDERAL BUILDING. I let them know that I need in my passport for a trip that was coming up in a few days and paid for a same business day rush. They told me I wouldn't be able to have it until that following week and completely wasted my time. I asked them if I would be able to go to the Federal building and make the process quicker and they told me no which was a complete lie! I immediately got a refund. First I'll start by saying the office is beautifully done! After you check in upstairs there is a coffee lounge for you to wait in. My morning didn't start off well, but this was a big perk. Coffee was definitely needed. I only waited about 15 minutes to be seen. Raquel Is amazingly sweet and helpful. She was quick to get my passport expedited and sent to my home within a few days. Not happy with my photo and parking situation. I am sure many people were satisfied with their service specially on their passport photos. But the guy who took my passport photo on his phone OMG! I should have stopped at that moment. What a horrible photo I got till 2028! Please if someone who is reading this, please take your own photo else where. Waste of time! Better go to the government agency! I came in right after my naturalization, was greeeted by the front desk lady and was told the wait was going to be 20-25 minutes. After 20 minutes of wait I asked how much longer it will take, they said it will take another hour because they had people coming in with appointments and they are a priority. ABSOLUTELY APPALLING SERVICE!!! If you are considering using their services I would strongly suggest you think twice. After receiving my naturalization I swiftly went to the Passport Office in DTLA to use their passport expedition services as I was soon to travel. I have a number of complaints about the service: - the prices charged were not as advertised. - the service requires me to travel some 30 minutes to another city far away to supposedly have my state issues identified verified by a US Post Office. - when I arrived at the Post Office the wrong forms had been given to me so I had to go back and get the correct form. - my passport arrived late and I ended up missing my travel; they blamed the State Department Passport Office however when I spoke to them, they confirmed that errors had been made in the application!!! - Finally, they never returned my Naturalization Certificate which costs in excess of $300 to replace!!! Again, they blamed the State Passport Office and so I contacted the State's office only to find out that the certificate had been released to the courier. I needed a work visa for China and these guys accomplished that in less then 2 days. That's right! Less then 2 days. Getting the paperwork done took less then 30 mins. Took my pic. And less then 2 days later they called me to say my 10 year visa to China was done. Everyone there is really great. When I first got there they asked me to wait in the waiting area. Which had like every coffee you help yourself to. They even had a Roku on the tv. But just as I got my account and password put in, and an episode of friends to start, they called me back to an office. My advice? If you go there all you have time for is coffee. Not roku. Handed in all my documents and paid for the 1-2 Emergency Services. My flight itinerary explicitly said that my plane departed in less than week. He miscalculated my turnaround time and didn't verify all my documents so everything was so fucked up that I had to cancel my international ticket to Bali. Even after I paid extra for same day service, it came the day after so my whole trip ended up being delayed over a week, costing thousands extra for his oversight. This business is located in an executive suite. I arrived for my scheduled an appointment and waited a few minutes. When I inquired about the person I was supposed to meet with, the suite receptionist stated that Raquel had stepped out. I asked to speak with her and was given the phone number of the business. I called and spoke with Mariah. Mariah said that Raquel had an emergency at the consulate's office and it was taking longer than expected. I was disappointed that they didn't have the courtesy to inform me that my appointment would be either be delayed and/or needed to be pushed back. I work near this office, so I didn't have to deal with getting into DTLA or deal with parking; however, I wanted to post this review to forewarn anyone of poor customer service. This place was great! When I had no idea how to renew my passport or what I needed to get it done they were really helpful and fast,plus they kept me calm . I didn't think it was going to be possible to get it done in one for my trip and they assured me that it would get done. The staff is so friendly and informative.
