I recently found my Peninsula Visa card that Joey gave me a few years ago when I met him in line to get my visa to China. FULL DISCLOSURE - I didn't use their service, but I wish I had. The travel department at work actually screwed up my visa application and I had to go at 5am and get in line to pick up my visa the morning of my 10:45am flight to Beijing. I spent a long time with the folks at the line outside the embassy and they explained all the ways other companies were handling visas which I saw first hand, such as having people who are clearly homeless and not mentally stable holding a place in line or handle visa pickups, which is literally a bundle of passports. I can't imagine trusting anyone but the very most reputable person to handle my passport. Joey made sure I was first into the Embassy and took care of me like I was his best client though I hadn't paid him a cent. He took me to a great agent and made sure I got my visa and was out the door to catch the car I had waiting to take me straight to the airport. So, my boss sends me an email telling me that I am going to China for work. But I was a former Taiwanese national, despite being a US citizen now, and the consulate is harassing me about providing a birth certificate on top of all the other paperwork I've given them because of my Taiwanese roots. I have an upcoming trip to Rio in July but could not get a visa appointment at the Brazilian consulate in LA until 3 days before my departure time. I found out I needed a visa towards the end of May so I still had lots of time but after checking the site daily for appointment times I decided the best bet was to go through an agency. I used the consulate approved agencies list to review the agencies before making my decision on which one to utilize. I reached out to Peninsula Visa support team and they were so helpful. Sona was always available through email to answer my questions and double check my paper work. I was also assisted by Adrian and in house staff in the LA office. Everyone was super nice and responded so promptly. The online application process at times was stressful so having the support staff available to guide me eased the burden a little. I opted for 12 day service and was initially expected to receive my visa on July 5 however I received an email today on June 28 notifying me that my passport with visa was ready for pick up. It took 2 minutes to grab my items from the office after parking. I submitted my information for processing on June 14 so I am glad that everything came back more than 2 weeks before my trip. This place is Great. My passport got stolen. I am a naturalized citizen. I was naturalized in 1982! I have no idea where my naturalization papers are. I found out it would take months to get another copy of naturalization paperwork. Found out that you can get a record trace of the passport. They held my hand through the process and I got my passport within 2 weeks. I could have paid more for expedited service, but didn't need it that fast. They are great! read more

Finally got information from them as to where to get my documents sealed, drove all the way out to Glendale to find out that I am missing the authorization form from them. It is not included on their list of documents needed and no one ever told me it was needed. I am now scrambling to get my passport last minute, and hopefully will not miss my trip. read more
