    Red Pepper Penne
    Shelly B.

Very unique speciality store that sells so many different flavors and types of pasta. All shapes and sizes, spicy to savory. I got the kickin red pepper penne and let me tell ya, it's great even without sauce. The pasta itself is so flavorful. I added some spicy red sauce which made it even better! Prices were fair as well.

    Some tasty pasta selections

They also have imported deli meats, cheeses, olives, and sausages. They are even known for their homemade Mozzarella cheese. We entered and felt that the area was quite small. I don't believe 6 adults could stand inside comfortably for long. It was quite cluttered too. We placed our order and opted to wait outside. We were told that it would take 15-20 minutes to receive our order of two paninis. We ordered the Italian (prosciutto, sopressata, homemade mozzarella cheese, and sliced garden tomatoes, homemade basil pesto) & the Sicilian (spicy capocolla ham, homemade mozzarella cheese, sliced garden tomatoes, and red onions, homemade basil pesto). The sandwiches were quite tasty. I especially loved the delicious bread. The meats seemed fresh and the pesto was tasty! The sandwiches got the spot! Our paninis were approximately $12 a piece. I highly recommend calling your order in for pick-up. There's one small table with two chairs... It's not a dine-in restaurant. Parking an be tricky, but there is a designated parking space outside the building.

There are a few tables out front, but we were lucky enough to snag the single two‑seat table inside, which added to the charm. We shared the muffuletta, served on a soft hoagie roll and layered with Juliet's homemade tapenade. It was excellent--bright, briny, and beautifully balanced. You can tell everything here is crafted with intention. A wonderful stop for anyone who loves authentic Italian flavors and a genuinely inviting atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to going back.

The special I ordered (pictured) was easily one of the best dishes I've had in a long time, and honestly every single thing we ordered was delicious. This meal went above and beyond perfection. We got there a little before noon and already had 3 cars ahead of us waiting for them to open -- the second those doors opened, people were lining up fast. They had plenty of tables and service was so quick. Once we were seated, things moved quickly: menus right away, water and drinks out fast, and service that stayed genuinely attentive the whole time. I didn't even get close to finishing my drink before they were already checking if I wanted a refill. All of our meals came with soup and salad, and the pasta fagioli was amazing -- I'm not usually a fan of celery in it, but it was still so flavorful. They also have an impressive dessert menu, but we were way too stuffed to even think about it. Next time we're definitely leaving room for dessert! Highly recommend -- go early, it's worth the wait!

But after hearing good things, I figured it deserved a second chance -- and this time it delivered. I ordered an apple martini, which was really tasty, and the fettuccine Alfredo with added chicken and shrimp. The dish initially came out with just shrimp, but when I mentioned the missing chicken, they handled it kindly and quickly. They let me keep my pasta and brought out a nicely grilled piece of chicken topped with Alfredo sauce. It ended up being very flavorful and satisfying. My friend ordered a sausage pasta dish and thoroughly enjoyed it -- he said it was very tasty. He also had two smoked old fashioneds and really liked them. The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived, but it still had a cozy atmosphere. The only downside was that staff members were having a very loud conversation in the dining area, playing music, and even watching something on a phone at one point. Since there weren't many customers yet, it stood out more. I'd suggest maybe keeping that to a back area or lowering the volume while guests are dining. Overall though, this visit changed my mind. I would absolutely go back.

I ended up getting the Galegea and the peach balsamic. They tasted good together. Figured they would be good to mix for a salad. They do ship. So if you find something you like and want to repurchase or try something new then you can order it. They even said if you wanted to email and get ideas for recipes that you can do that. I don't know about you but I always run out of ideas. I love a responsive business. It was clean friendly and warm inside the store. I would happily visit again to have the same experience.
