College dive bar but with old people. The bartenders and servers are sweet but always busy. But they will bring you drinks and food pretty quick always! I highly recommend to visit this pub if you are short on money or want to get a cheap meal. They have so many specials including Happy Hour or daily deals. This is a true local place at the north end of Market Street. Nothing fancy but good food, drink and reasonable pricing. The bill for a crabcake sandwich with tater tots, cheeseburger with tater tots, diet soda and a gin and tonic was $42 before tip. In this day and age no complaints. The service was good, kitchen was quick and the food was delicious. Tater Tots are not something you normally see on a menu and they are so good here. Burger was large and the Crab Cake was also a good size. We drove 25 miles to come here it was that good. read more

Great Place! Excellent food at fair prices and the portions are nice too. Very Friendly staff (That includes the owner), very clean place. The Decor I can only describe as "rustic" (for lack of a better word) as that have vintage signage from a variety of companies. Dear Olde Town Tavern/ To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally address an incident that occurred at Olde Town Tavern on December 31sr at approximately 10:22pm. During this visit, I was subjected to unprofessional and inappropriate treatment by a member of your security staff, Darius Braun, whom I believe acted unfairly and abused their authority. When I arrived at your establishment with my friends, Darius began antagonizing us. His behavior appeared to be personal in nature, as I know him outside of his professional role. This antagonism escalated throughout the night and culminated in him forcibly removing me from the premises, despite the fact that I was not involved in any disruptive behavior or altercations. To provide clarity: while I was in the bathroom for an extended period, an incident occurred involving the people I came with and another patron, a visibly intoxicated woman who reportedly initiated the altercation. I was completely unaware of this situation as it unfolded, and I had no involvement in or knowledge of what transpired until after the fact. For Darius Braun to target and drag me out of the bar, despite my absence from the entire situation, was unjustifiable and highly unprofessional. It is important to emphasize that this entire incident was captured on your security cameras, I strongly encourage you to review the footage from Back bar room, the bathroom hallway, main bar area, etc. Several witnesses who were present can confirm that's I was not acting in any way deserving of this treatment. During the time of the incident. The video evidence will clearly show: That I was uninvolved in any altercation. That Darius targeted and forcibly removed me without cause. That the other patron involved in the altercation appeared to be overserved alcohol, which raises concerns about the bar's compliance with responsible serving practices. Furthermore, I have reason to believe that Darius Braun is unfit for his position. It is concerning that Darius frequently brings personal grievances into the workplace including targeting patrons based on personal history. There are ongoing rumors, which I have witnessed firsthand, that he purchases illegal drugs from regular patrons at the bar. Additionally, I am aware that he has been suspended in the past for being under the influence of drugs while on duty. He has been known to take part in illegal drugs of duty as well is the bathroom of his workplace. His demeanor during this incident was overly aggressive and erratic, raising concerns that he may have once again been under the influence while working. This pattern of behavior reflects poorly on the professionalism and safety of your establishment and undermines the experience of your patrons. I am requesting that this matter be taken seriously and investigated thoroughly. Specifically, I would like to know: What steps you will take to investigate this incident, including reviewing the security footage. Whether this bouncer will face disciplinary action for his unprofessional behavior. The measures your establishment has in place to address over-serving alcohol and ensuring security staff cannot use personal grievances to target patrons. I trust that your establishment values its patrons and takes pride in maintaining a safe, professional, and welcoming environment. I would appreciate a response to this complaint within reasonable timeframe, 7 days. If I do not hear back or if this matter is not resolved, I will escalate it to the relevant licensing authority, legal counsel, or other appropriate body. The WORST SERVICE I've ever had at a "restaurant". The waitress got part of our order wrong, and when I told her she didn't care. She fixed it but didn't even say anything and acted like I was wasting her time. Usually, if they make a mistake, a server will apologize. I guess I should have just been happy with what I was given, not what I asked for. I also asked for extra bread and it didn't come until later. I kept having to go to the bar to get refills on water, because I saw she was too busy chatting in the kitchen and not doing her job. When I got the bill there was an extra charge for sauce, but she didn't bother to tell me it was extra. Usually wings come WITH sauce, but not here. I thought it was a mistake. When I asked her why it was extra she f'n rolled her eyes at me, TO MY FACE, and argued with me, telling me I should know better. Already this woman was very rude and should never work with customers. When I tried to tell the 'manager' he said since I've been there before I should know better and made it seem like I was wrong for even bringing it up. He clearly does not even care about being decent to a paying customer. I told the waitress she has a very bad attitude dealing with paying customers, and she continued arguing. I'm completely appalled at such disrespect toward paying customers. Olde Towne Tavern treated us like WE should be thankful to THEM for even letting us in and allowing them to screw up our order and our night. Went recently for a date, I knew this place had a quiet backroom so suggested we go there. Our waitress was a little quiet towards us but it was more busy in the front and I ( don't know about him) was okay with waiting. I only got a little annoyed when another waitress kept offering us food we didn't order, I know she didn't want it to go to waste but every time my date tried to explain to her we already ordered she would cut him off and kept repeating, "the foods for you guys!" Everything moved slow. We were seated outside and I saw the inside was only about half full. It took almost 10 minutes just to be able to put in drink orders and when we finally got our drinks they were in crappy little plastic cups. We finally ordered and were waiting around 45 minutes before our server told us it would be an hour wait. At that point we had waited so long there would have been no point going somewhere else. My 3 year old daughter was with us and very hungry. Luckily we were able to distract her with youtube videos while we waited. When we finally got the food they forgot my wife's dressing and I had to go in to ask for it since I didn't want to wait until the server decided to wander over again. First time in the establishment and right off the bat it was a very welcoming workstaff. They only had one bartender serving as both the server and bartender but she was able to keep up and give equal attention to all the patrons who would come in. In spite of the regulars, there is cheap drinks and the food is really good and reasonably priced. I had the pleasure of being taken on a mini bar tour of these good old parts. Ended up here. Two chicks running the bar.... DJ playing the Thong Song.....idk what year I was taken back to (1999?) but at least the Oriole game was on? The drinks were terrible, we had to send back our first round, and the second round was no better. We ordered food and our potato skin appetizer had raw onion and burnt cheese on it. We decided we wanted to leave before receiving anything else and the waitress told us we had to pay the $91 dollar bill for food we didn't receive or eat, and drinks we didn't drink. She yelled at us at the table saying we were thieves and she would call the cops if we didn't pay. She continued saying the whole entire meal will come out of her check so if we still won't pay WE needed to call the owner and not her. She didn't even offer the name of the owner or their number. She ended up calling them and our meal was comped but we still ended up paying for drinks that were full. Great dive bar in Frederick. Don't go if you are looking for a high end place, but if you like good (and cheap) food and drinks, this is a good place. The bartenders are very attentive and get drinks out in no time. You have to try the burgers too, they are very good. It can get loud and very busy later in the night though so if you don't like crowds its not for you. If you have a group, its hard to sit out in the front bar area, but if you go the back, there is a lot of room for multiple groups and there is a second bar in the back (where they also have bands). read more

I like this place on the weekends! It's not too crazy or wild, and the deals are awesome! The bartender we had was super nice and I'm so mad I cannot remember her name ugh! But I don't remember how many drinks/shooters/bombs I got but the bill was less than $40 and I was beyond amazed. There's a larger space in the back, there's space for darts and there's live bands in the way back as well. It's a pretty chill place and I like it for a chill night out w friends. The only reason why I didn't give this place a five star was because of the bathrooms :/ they were pretty .. gross, honestly. The fact there's only one stall for each sex kinda sucks! But I mean whatever. The environment is great the drink specials are great and the service was great! So I'll def be coming back here when I'm back in town!
