Awful customer service and poor quality work. Only few months after their work and drywall tape is coming off the ceiling corner where they painted. Kevin from Patch Boys requires we pay them to return and fix their work Property damage: Our custom glass kitchen pendant had its cable torn and glass shattered. Negligence: I have to climb a 12-foot ladder to vacuum away all the drywall debris they left in our chandelier light because they were negligent to cover the chandelier with tarp! They did not move back ours. grand piano to where it was before their work. Black smudges on our 16-ft. wall I had to clean myself. Light fixture bases not put back up. read more

We had some water leaks that damaged our kitchen ceiling in several spots. The drywall sections needed to be removed and replaced. Maureen was very nice and helpful getting us scheduled on a timely basis and following up to make sure we were kept advised of when the technician would arrive. Jose was fantastic. His work was flawless. He kept our kitchen covered from all debris and it was totally clean when he finished and removed his materials. He was extremely pleasant and efficient. The cost was far more reasonable than a couple other quotes we received. We're very happy we used them. read more

This is by far the most unprofessional business that I've ever had to deal with. While packing a few boxes on a Sunday night, my fiancé tripped on one of the boxes and slammed into the door pushing the doorknob right into the drywall, which also caused a picture frame on the adjacent wall to fall off and puncture another hole in the wall (double whammy I guess). I contacted The Patch Boys on Sunday (1/10/2021) and left a voicemail so I can try to get a call back from them first thing Monday morning. When that did not happen, I tried to call them again during their open business hours, but no one picked up the phone and their voicemail box was full so I couldn't even leave a message. I ended up going onto their website to request a quote. I got a call back the next day from an assistant and we were able to communicate through text messages and email in order to send pictures of the needed repairs. I got a quote back in about two hours and was told that I would be contacted by someone to schedule an appointment. That was Tuesday (1/12/21). When I haven't heard back from them, I tried to call the business again to set up my appointment, but I wasn't able to reach anyone or leave a voicemail, again. I also sent a follow up email to no avail. I specifically chose this business because they claimed to do "instant" repairs and the reviews on their website claimed that people received quotes and scheduled appointments within 20 minutes. Like where? I've been trying to schedule an appointment since Monday and it's more painful than seeing my doorknob go straight into my drywall. False claims, false reviews and severely unprofessional. I wanted to get this issue patched up and done by the end of this week or early next week and this business completely wasted my time. This is really 2 reviews in one. I will give the final product a strong 5 stars but there were some hiccups along the way. I have divided it into 2 parts. The first was their emergency service. We had a fairly bad leak from our upstairs bathroom into our living room. The plumbers refused to open up the ceiling below so I had to emergently have them out to open up the ceiling so we could figure out what was going on. Because the final repair would be contingent on getting the leak fixed, they broke the bill down and only charged me for the demo until the repair was completed. This was good since at no fault of theirs, this was almost 8 months later. They were communicative and everything went smooth. The plastic cover to the hole they made even lasted until the project was finished. This segment is a 5. The second did not go as well. Finally after 8 months the bathroom above was fixed and I could proceed with the final repair. The communication was less than ideal and there were several instances where I was stuck waiting only for them to be extremely late including when I was the first stop of the day. They were extremely apologetic but it was a rough week of waiting and finding coverage for them to be there to do the work. Despite the challenges, I will give them 3 stars for this part with the statement, "you have to communicate" especially if something is going wrong. On average, a 4 is in order read more

Wow! I found the Patch Boys on the Thumbtack app a few months ago. I called them out to provide a quote for some drywall cracks that I have due to settling... my home is only 2 years old and it's the second time I've had to have cracks repaired. The first time was traumatizing. The builder sent a crew in and when they left my home looked like a war zone! There was dust and debris on every conceivable surface. Not this time! Nelson from the Patch Boys arrived, came in an assessed the job. He prepped each area carefully. He basically created these little cocoons with drop clothes and plastic sheeting to contain the dust. He would get inside of them to work , kind of looking like the boy in the plastic bubble. He was quiet as I was working from home but most importantly.. He did a great job. My ceilings look better than new. He explained to me what he did and the job was reasonably priced. I would recommend the Patch Boys wholeheartedly. read more

Kevin was great. I had to repair a crack in my foundation wall and the waterproofing company had to cut out two sections of drywall about a foot by two feet each above my basement stairs.
