Today, The Patty Wagon cater our company's Juneteenth event. I have to say they were on point with everything!Flavors were delicious. I had the turkey hot pursuit with jalapeños and a nice sauce. Let's not forget about the fries.... they were fresh, crispy and perfectly seasoned. I went back for seconds. The icing on the cake was the great customer service they delivered to our guest. I tried The Patty Wagon at a sports tournament. I ordered Bacon the Law with fries. I had to order the fries separately because they do not come as a combo. But it seems they skimp you on the fry order when you order with the burger. The service was quick. The fries were pretty good, the burger was just ok. The cajun seasoning on the fries and chicken was great. Price was ok, 6 huge wings and a LOT of fries. Blue Cheese dip was plentiful. Unfortunately both the wings and fries were undercooked. The chicken wasn't raw, but it was kind of spongy and the skin wasn't at all crispy. I honestly couldn't finish it. It sucks too, because the lady was really friendly, and I wanted to like the place. Their food truck came out to our neighborhood and it was just simply amazing. I loved their Jalapeño and Bacon Burgers. It was thick and juicy and cooked to perfection! This food truck is amazing!! They had many burger options: 100% Beef, Turkey, or Veggie. I ordered the "Usual Suspect" which included 5-0 sauce (tastes like thousand island), lettuce, tomato, cheese, onion and pickles. My 2nd option was called "Bacon the Law" which was the same burger but with Maple glazed bacon! Sounded and looked amazing! I ordered my burger with the Garlic Parmesan fries. They were very fresh and tasty. The other two options for fries were Cajun and Cracked Pepper. The person who took my order was friendly and the burger was ready quicker than I expected! I was craving a turkey burger and hopped on yelp to see what was close by where I live. Stumbled on this place and drove right to it. I was looking for a food truck so when I got there, everything was pitch black. I was a little disappointed and then I realized there is an actual store front. There were many varieties to choose from but I chose the turkey burger (add a patty) with Cajun fries AND OMG!! I was not disappointed! This beats all I've had from Bobby's and anywhere near here! They also have wings and I plan to return to try the old bay flavored dry rub wings!! Honorable mention of the female worker there. She was super polite and accommodating! I tried this food truck while at the Holiday Rd., Christmas lights out in Fairburn GA. They were one of four full trucks that was there for the event. My niece really wanted a burger so we chose the food truck that specialize in burgers. We both ordered the bacon the law. What really made me want to try that burger was the fact that it was supposed to have maple bacon on it. I am a sucker for some good bacon. The staff was pretty nice. The line moved kind of fast. After I placed our order I literally walked over to just look at the menu and another food truck and I turned around and my niece had food walking towards me. I was really shocked because that was so quick to get burger and fries. I just thought they were preparing burgers ahead of time because it was gonna be a big crowd with the Christmas lights. So we walked over to sit down and I tried my garlic Parmesan fries first and they were cold as ice. I found that to be very shocking because they were supposedly just cooked so I tried another one and yes they were cold as ice. I walked back up to let them know that my fries were cold and the lady informs me yeah our fryer has been acting crazy do you want me to just give you your money back. I said yes four dollars for french fries with a lot especially since they didn't even put the french fries in a separate container which I thought you would get with paying separate for french fries. So the cost and quantity did not match up. When I went to pick up my burger to eat it the bread just started sort of falling apart. My niece even made a comment that the bread wasn't toasted or anything. The burger was very dry it had no taste to it and very little bacon. It seems like the burger was just a frozen beef patty that was over cooked on a grill. I was very surprised by this it's this was supposed to be a burger food truck. I expected the patties to be homemade, nice and juicy but that was not the case. Don't think I will be trying this food truck again. Very disappointing a $9 burger and $4 fries. read more

This is good old-fashioned food. I stopped by their food truck at the Roswell Arts Festival yesterday. I had had a taste for a burger yesterday for lunch and was going to stop into Moxie Burger just down the street but when I saw them at the festival I know I had to try. The burger was delicious and they accommodate your selection and choices. They have a few different options including one with bacon and another one with Bleu Cheese. I had the garlic parmesan fries with mine and they were some of the best fries I'd ever eaten, even to rival those made by Smash Burger which are thought were the way garlic parmesan fry heaven. These fries are thicker and definitely crispy, not soggy. I hate a soggy fry. I haven't been to their Marietta location but with as good as this food is, I have to try it out one day soon. Got lunch from The Patty Wagon food truck when they were at the Festival on Ponce. I was not expecting much (it is a festival after all...) and was pleasantly surprised. It is decent food for a festival. We had the Usual Suspect with American cheese ($7.50), which is a basic burger with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. It is a decent size with a large soft bun. The patty itself does not have that much flavor. It is not dry but not very juicy either. We also had the Blue Meanie ($8), which has blue cheese and onion marmalade along with the basic burger toppings. This was our favorite of all the burgers we tried. We also had the Bootlegger ($9) which has bacon, BBQ sauce, baked beans and coleslaw. All of the toppings makes this a very flavorful burger but it is also very heavy and messy. We also had a side of parmesan garlic fries ($3). You have to ask for them to come in a separate container if you are sharing. Otherwise, they will just put it on one of the burger orders. Overall, not a bad stop for food at a festival. I would grab food from this food truck again if I saw it at another festival. I highly recommend the Blue Meanie. read more

After such great reviews, and a recommendation from a friend, I was excited to try another great burger...I do love a good burger! Unfortunately, I was highly disappointed in 3 out of the 4 burgers we had at the Food Truck side of the Kennesaw Farmers' Market. 2 different patty options were ordered across the 4 of us, and 3 of them had crunchy pieces of bone or cartilage in them that made them inedible. I'll spare you pictures of food that came back out, but share that the crunch and grind of something that obviously wasn't supposed to be in a burger felt between the back teeth was easily visible (i.e. it wasn't tiny). One burger can be a fluke in the meat, but 3 burgers from 2 different "flavors", is something different. Here's my biggest frustration. I get that things happen and worked restaurants for a good bit in my younger years, and partially because of that, I feel customer service goes a long way. I emailed the company via their website and shared the story, even explaining that they might remember us since we ordered 3 of the burgers without buns due to being gluten-free; they forgot and came out on buns, so they very politely apologized and remade them for us (yes, we stand out at times, but my intent was that they would know this was a legitimate concern if they could visualize it). After sharing the issue, I asked if they would be willing to provide some type of gift card for part of the purchase so we could give them another shot since I had heard great things. 2 weeks...nothing, not a single response or acknowledgement, much less an apology. I wish I had one of the experiences I read on Yelp, but the burgers were absolutely terrible. Only positive I can say is that the toppings were plentiful and my 8 year old ate his without complaint or compliment, but he eats everything except cottage cheese and okra, so not sure that is saying much. read more

This is the one food truck I cannot pass on. I have eaten from Patty Wagon a total of four times now and each time I was very impressed. My first sandwich was the Bacon the Law. You can choose between 100% Beef, Turkey or Veggie for your patty and of course I choose the 100% Beef cooked medium. (Yes, a food truck that cooks your sandwich to order!) The beef was cooked to perfection and it was juicy and well flavored. Served on a large bun with maple flavored bacon, american cheese, tomato, lettuce and red onion along with their signature 5-0 sauce. I added more sauce from the condiment table. I also included the Cajun Fries which were seasoned very well and tasty, they were cooked well and not soggy. I could not eat the entire meal it was so much food. On the second time I saw the Patty Wagon I already knew where I was eating that day. I wanted to go back with the Bacon the Law burger since it was so good last time but choose to go with the Hot Pursuit instead since I love spice and anything with jalapeno. I was not disappointed. Went with the 100% Beef Patty this time cooked medium well and again the burger came out cooked perfectly, still juicy and seasoned to perfection with blackening seasoning. Topped with Pepper jack cheese, Jalapeno's and Fire Aioli sauce. I ordered the Parmesan Garlic fries which I had a hard time eating with the size of the burger but they were also excellent. The next two times I ordered I have gone back with both the above burgers I already know since I enjoy them both so much. My wife has always gone with the Usual Suspect with no cheese and cooked Well done and she says it is one of the best burgers she has had from a food truck or any fast food site. Will I eat at the Patty Wagon again? ABSOLUTELY, I will drive 10 miles out of my way if I know they will be someplace. Few side notes: The truck is large and you can see inside, it is clean and the people that work inside the truck have always been extremely friendly and helpful in helping people decide on what to order. In our experiences it took 10 -12 minutes from the time we ordered until our name was called with our food ready to pick up a the pick up window. Nothing from under a heat lamp, they cooked our burger to our specification each time and served it to us hot and fresh. read more

I thought the food had some really good potential but, unfortunately, every burger we have ordered from there was just raw in the middle. The first bite of their burger is amazing but after that, the rest of the burger is bright pink. These guys know their burgers - fo shure. I think the dine-in experience would be better because both the patty and the fries would be hotter. I've taken the food to go both visits and things get cool quickly. Not their fault - not at all. Flavors and choices abound for both the burgers and the fry toppings/seasonings. They're convenient to me and I am sure I will be back. A far sight better than any fast food burger, naturally. I guess if anything, I might suggest wrapping the goods in aluminum foil for to go orders. That's all. =) Oh, and you will get a take out menu with a $2 off coupon stapled to it for your next visit. There were only a few food trucks at the Ponce Arts and Crafts Festival. I looked up Patty Wagon and saw the great reviews so I decided to take advantage of being right there at them. Based on my convo with the lady taking orders, I opted for the Good Behavior - Strawberry preserves, goat cheese and maple glazed bacon. Overall, pretty decent burger. Great combination of toppings. Though I thought it needed less preserves and more cheese. My friend thought the opposite. So I guess it must be about right. The burger patty itself was just OK- nothing too special. I would have given just 3 stars based on the food, but added a star due to the very warm service. read more

It's a hundred times better than fast food, but at $8 for an 8oz burger (not including sides) it's not incredibly cheap. They are good about resolving issues, and that means a lot. I work not too far from their hub, so I frequently get a burger delivered. I love that there are so many options and some very unique ones at that. I've had very few mistakes when ordering and the 2 times there have ever been mistakes they were quick to remedy them. I love the burgers, not too crazy about the buns. Toppings are always fresh, burger is usually cooked perfectly with no burning. The seasonings on the fries are awesome. They rarely have the fried corn available. :( My only main complaint is the phone manners when I order, I'm not sure if it's the same lady or not, but I feel like an inconvenience whenever I'm calling in my order. The blue meanie burger was big and I had high hopes but it didn't measure up. The patty was cooked on a greasy/dirty surface. You can tell this by the greasy flavor it imparts and the crust on the patty. My lips and mouth are greasy as I type this. From there it's hard to redeem. It just didn't mesh. If I was drinking maybe three stars but I was starved and still I had to put A-1 sauce to cut into the velvety grease. I'd drive to rita's or canyons before this place next time. This review is for the food truck. Super exciting menu, very poor quality of food. The first problem is that I'm more than certain the hamburger was a frozen patty. Like the bulk kind that you can buy at Costco or Sam's. Flavorless and chewy. I kinda feel like I don't even need to go on because if the burger isn't fresh at a burger spot then what else even matters? However, I will go on. We got the burger with strawberry, goat cheese, and bacon. It sounded like it was going to be a gourmet experience but we were let down. The bacon seemed basic and the strawberry and goat cheese didn't give enough kick to make it special. The garlic parmesan fries looked good and were nice and crunchy but they really needed salt because they were bland. I hate giving out one and two star reviews. But I'll do my best to explain why - and this review is for their food truck, not the brick and mortar restaurant. These guys were at work and have been a number of times due to our cafeteria being renovated. Now, for marketing and concept - a strong A for that. Patty Wagon? For a food truck? Well done. As are the names and associations of the different burgers... things like "The Usual Suspect" and "Hot Pursuit". I like it. It's a fun play on words that customers can immediately understand (in stark contrast to the Tasty Bus food truck which is a confused jumble of ideas, but that's another story). As for the items on the menu, there aren't any ground breaking burger creations here. It's the typical approaches to the usual things that pair well on a burger. You know, like blue cheese, onion marmalade tomatoes, leaf lettuce, red onions and the mysterious "5-O Sauce", whatever that is. Each of the burgers can be constructed on one of three patty types - allegedly Angus beef, ground turkey and veggie. Pricing is reasonable with most burgers on the food truck in the $7-$9 range, add on fries and it's an $11-$12 lunch. So, why the two stars? Well, you set my expectations with the branding, the concept and the interesting if not inventive combinations. I've tried them twice and the experience has been consistent each time. Unfortunately, consistently meh. And it could be so much better. Working backwards - fries. Both times properly cooked and crispy (thank you!) and I chose Old Bay seasoned. I'm a sucker for Old Bay. if you are too, then get the Utz "Crab Chips" in the chip aisle at Publix or Kroger or even the small ones at RaceTrac. You'll thank me later while you lick your fingers. So, big ups on the well prepared fries - they are frozen food service cut, not hand cut or anything unique. But very serviceable. The burger. I've had the Usual Suspect (Angus beef, tomatoes, lettuce, red onions and 5-O sauce), and then today the Bacon The Law which promises "our own maple glazed bacon", American cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, red onions and 5-O sauce. Both cases the meat patty is, well, bordering on flavorless. There's no decent beefy richness to it - food nerds might say umami. It was very nondescript. On a reasonable roll, not toasted in both cases. Veggies were fresh and crisp. As for the mysterious 5-O sauce, it's still a mystery 'cause I'm not sure what it is or what it's supposed to taste like. Oh. And the promise of "our own maple glazed bacon"? That sets an expectation that maybe you've got a hobby making your own bacon that's amazing, or you take a prepared bacon and do some food truck jujitsu magic to it and create something unique. Nope. Food service bacon just slapped on my burger. You know that bacon - the really thin sliced kind that is very mild in flavor, no smoke and I couldn't find the maple. Maybe Maple and 5-O were getting jiggy and missed their call to the stage during burger assembly. And the meat quality... as some other reviews have suggested, it just isn't there. Not sure what he's buying, whether it's mass production stuff from Restaurant Depot, or what, but it's clearly on the less expensive end. So - want a basic, maybe slightly jazzed up burger that's inoffensive and isn't going to win any awards, head to these guys. If you buy the marketing and hoping you're going more down the road towards Grindhouse, Shake Shack or some of the other folks doing really great burgers, this probably isn't your stop, unfortunately. Sadly, I think they are risking squandering the cool brand and product names by serving product that just doesn't match the hype. And it should. read more

Their food truck was at my office this past Monday and to say their burger was not good is an understatement. To me it was a pre cooked frozen patty that was heated up when ordered. It was dry and did not have a good flavor and for it to cost almost 11 bucks for a nasty burger and some what decent fries is crazy. I'm giving this a two because I don't like giving any business a one. I went to the brick and mortar location for lunch. The counter person was not very friendly, not rude but seemingly uninterested in taking our order. The food was just ok, more like something you would expect at a carnival not an actual sit down meal. We won't be returning. read more
