At $1.45 & $1.75, respectively, for a *small* hashbrown triangle (about the size of my index finger, and I don't have large hands) & cup of grits, I certainly won't be ordering those again. Without the aid of my home air fryer, the biscuits are no longer crispy and pillowy, but rather soft and doughy, signifying that large batches are made in advance and kept in a warming oven. My order was pretty simple and should have been ready within minutes, but instead I had to wait about 10 minutes in the drive-thru. With that kind of wait, I would expect a freshly baked biscuit, or at least one that had been freshly toasted (see above). Burger Inn used to be one of my favorite breakfasts in Woodstock, but like so many restaurants, the prices are keeping up with inflation, and their quality is declining. It makes me sad that a locally owned establishment has fallen from glory to mediocrity.

Etowah high school had nothing but the school and no where for hang outs after football games, until the famous Pizza Hut, that "was" down the street. I pray it stays past the next few generations. So nice to see something that resembles what Woodstock was made upon,. The great people and safe everywhere you went. All the elders watched over all of us kids and would give anything they had in abundance, stepping in before you even knew you needed it with the reward of a simple "thank you".

Everything we got was good. Not the best barbecue ever, but definitely worth coming back for. The turkey was moist and the sausage good. My son liked the brisket that was in his bowl. Big Easy BBQ - Do Not Waste Your Money or Time Eating Here A…read morefew days ago, I watched a well-known BBQ show that offered a simple rule: if there's no smoke coming from a BBQ restaurant, keep driving. Today, I ignored that advice and regretted it. A friend and I decided to try Big Easy BBQ for lunch instead of visiting one of our usual favorites. After reading positive reviews, we drove more than 30 minutes to see what the hype was about. The first warning sign was the nearly empty dining room at lunchtime. The second was the complete lack of that unmistakable BBQ aroma. Despite both red flags, we stayed. My friend ordered the St. Louis ribs with sides, and I ordered the half chicken with two sides. When I noticed he had barely touched his ribs, he handed me a piece to try. The meat was tough, dry, and tasted as though it had been cooked well in advance and reheated. Unfortunately, my chicken was no better. It also seemed old and reheated rather than freshly prepared. For sides, I chose dirty rice and Cajun BBQ beans. Neither tasted particularly fresh. The dirty rice was acceptable at first but quickly lost its appeal, while the beans were merely average. Having lived in New Orleans for five years, I know what good Cajun and BBQ-inspired food should taste like. This wasn't it. The highlights of the meal were my iced tea and my friend's French fries. Service was equally disappointing. The server checked on us only in passing and showed little interest in our experience. When we requested takeout boxes for the food we barely ate, there was no inquiry about why our meals were largely untouched. We both took our leftovers home, though neither of us was enthusiastic about them. The lesson here is simple: online reviews should never outweigh what your eyes, nose, and instincts are telling you. A busy dining room, the smell of smoke, and trusted recommendations are often better indicators than a collection of glowing ratings. As a final note, my friend and I normally pay separately, but I felt responsible for suggesting this restaurant and paid for both meals. If paying for two disappointing lunches taught me anything, it's this: save your time and money, and eat somewhere else.

We entered and at first I was concerned because there were only two people in the restaurant. We ordered and received our food quickly and from the first bite of brisket I was hooked!!! We had the collards, mac & cheese, baked beans and Brunswick Stew. I was not happy with the Brunswick Stew but I'm hard to please on that item. I haven't had good batch in years. The people that know how to prepare it properly don't work in restaurants. Was charged $1 for two extra slices of bread. Uhhhhh really...it's bbq! Another drawback for me was the young lady working the register was pulling at the skin on her lips and I remember thinking oh lord she has her hands on her mouth, the register, the phone and everything else. I realize some people have nervous tendencies and try not to be too obnoxious when dining out but I sure miss the days of face masks and gloves. While we ate more and more people came in and when we left there was six people dining in, multiple pick up order, so it's a steady flow of people. The condiments station was neat and tidy.
