The kids love coming into clinic and really enjoy their therapists. I even had to switch to zoom one day for my daughter for speech and they were very accommodating. The speech session was very amazing to watch because my daughter was so engaged. I was highly on the fence about virtual but my daughter was very engaged. Overall, having all 4 services in one place for our family has been such a game changer! We love health pro and their open communication with our family. We are excited to watch our kids grow more and with such a caring team! This review is coming from a mom that's looked high and low for a great therapy place for her kids. :)

Instead, my son was seen for the entire session by an UNLICENSED trainee who is still in school. No one asked me if I was ok with this happening. In addition, we were billed for the appointment as if he had received care from a licensed therapist. The following week, the same therapist again failed to show up for her shift. Rather than offering any solution or attempting to reschedule, I simply received a text message stating that our appointment was canceled because no one was available to replace her. There was no phone call, no apology, and no attempt to accommodate another time. Beyond this, the sessions themselves were only 30 minutes and mostly consisted of basic play activities in the back room. Allowing my child to be seen for an entire session by someone who is not licensed and still in training unsupervised, while billing us for a full therapy appointment, is beyond unprofessional and borderline illegal.

Children of special needs have particular habits and objects they obsess over. HELLO?! The therapist would select things he wasn't interested in...so he would play with the cabinets and window curtains in the office instead. I wanted to make this work....I even gave some advice on toys he would love but the therapist stated " we're not there yet" she finally gave the desired toy last 5 minutes of the 30 minutes session and my son was finally enjoying and engaging with the play. Therapist says "Wow we should have started with that toy to begin with!" In my head I'm like "Duuuuh" If you pick the right toys for certain kids with certain favors then my child would engaged -- and therefore would participate in play = to talk! We had 1 substitute therapist twice and she was amazing... lots of energy and encouraging play and prying out words from my boy with all the RIGHT toys! He had so much fun with Paige! Unfortunately if your schedule doesn't fit, you don't get that therapist. We gave this place 3 months....fr Sept to Dec. With no improvements. A single 30 min play cost about $100ish a session! Your therapist better be working.... our therapist was lazy and barely spoke with my son...mainly with me. Why? *yawn* So boring and so awkward! Everyone was bored and wanted the 30 mins to be over!! LOL We were constantly staring at our watches and staring at each other, Or listening to the sounds outside the door. Come on ..these sessions aren't cheap, and it's just 30 mins...you'd expect they work it right? Mrs. Rachel on YouTube does a better job. And the receptionist Karla has a terrible attitude every time. She has a snotty tone like she's being bothered when you call or come up to the window to talk. I thought the first time maybe she was just having a bad day....but this was every single time! 3 months of crap service. Never coming back again.

They are without a doubt the best physical therapy provider in San Diego county, California, the west coast, and definitely the country. I've been a client since June 2007 when I re-injured my surgically repaired knee a year post surgery. I worked nearby and it came up on the list. I was mostly excited for the location. Once I had my first appointment I knew I had found the perfect medical care professionals. Their treatments are whole body with an emphasis on full mobility. They don't just look at the affected area without considering how it's affecting your walk, stance, sitting, and daily life. I've worked with many of the PTs over the years but have maintained a relationship with one of my original therapist who has helped me through a plethora of issues, injuries, and surgery. I can't recommend them enough and have recommended them to many people. Thank you, RU for giving a darn about your patients and their wellbeing.

Meh. I was…read morerear-ended last week and went to see Dr. Matt based upon a combo of being in network with my insurance, and great Yelp reviews. I'm not completely inexperienced with chiropractic therapy, but I haven't been a regular client either. I was a little taken aback by my experience. A really nice intern participated in my appointment, and Dr. Matt explained that she was in her final year of chiropractic school. All good. But then it got kind of weird because he used my appointment as a demo, training, and testing ground for the intern--quizzing her on the names of the various parts of my body that were ailing me, quizzing her on how to examine me, and how to treat me. He even went to the whiteboard. He kept telling her "I want to hear you say it!" I felt more like a fly on a wall than the patient in the room. He also had her adjust me initially, and then he came in after with corrective feedback and readjustments to her not-quite-right adjustments. He was also quizzing me at various points, which, cool, I like to learn; but also... it felt more about showcasing his authority than focusing on my care. Mind you, though not badly injured, I was just involved in a car accident, and I started out my appointment by telling them that I saw an Ortho who thought chiropractic care was great, but discouraged any neck manipulation in my particular instance (to which he disagreed). I also iterated that I was especially nervous about neck adjustments. I was never asked if I was ok with an intern adjusting my spine or back--it just happened. The intern went first, and then the doctor followed up with corrections to her adjustments. Granted, nobody manipulated my neck (just my shoulders, back, lower spine), but overall, I felt more like a student, or demo dummy, than a legitimate patient. (Probably because I was using insurance.) I actually thought the combination of the rolling table, ice, and e-stim treatment were really helpful, but overall, it was an awkward appointment. Nobody ever discussed a treatment plan with me or indicated how long, or how many appointments they recommended. In fact, Dr. Matt took off after the lesson, and when I finished the e-stim, the intern just said "Come back next week and see how you feel." Umm, ok. That was it. It wasn't bad. But it definitely didn't feel like a doctor appointment.
