A few steps up the street from Whitmore Lake, this place has a very chill vibe and cool music scene. Comfy couches and small tables encourage you to chill and enjoy the relaxing music atmosphere while sipping their delicious beverages. The menu has a variety of favorites, and the baristas "get it" (no need to start a 15-minute Power Point to explain the drink) when you ask for something off the menu--very chill and accommodating. Their Pound Cake, Banana Chocolate Bread and GF Peanut Butter cookies are awesome (moist, soft, and chewy to go perfect with your morning brew). Peaberry is seriously a gem in Whitmore Lake. We are so lucky to have a place like this in town!! It's the kind of place that I always want to live on the same street as, and the only suggestion I have for improvement is to stay open later! Peaberry has the BEST chicken salad sandwiches. (Ok, tied for the best- Joe & Rosie's in Dexter is just as good, but these two places are the only ones I will eat chicken salad at!) They're on a croissant, they have cheese on them (which I would have never thought was a good idea on chicken salad, but it totally works!!), and grapes and walnuts mixed in. Absolute heaven. And their baked goods are amazing too, especially the strawberry cake and Ghirardelli brownies! The prices are right, the food is outstanding, and the location is right down the street. I'm really looking forward to checking out an open mic night post-pandemic too!! read more

Always love Peaberry's! It is so great to have such a friendly environment and the place is always beautifully decorated. I get the same thing everytime and it's so fun having some of the workers already know what I want! Especially because a few of them went to my school. I used to go to the open mic nights every single month and it was so amazing feeling such openness and comfortability. First time trying Peaberry today! Our coffee maker decided it didn't want to work and we've been wanted to check out Peaberry for a while so perfect opportunity! My boyfriend went in to order while I stayed in the car, he said it was a really relaxing atmosphere with a music room and an incredibly friendly staff. The service was extremely fast and the pricing was beyond reasonable! Our total for two large drinks was $5.30. He got a large black coffee and I opted for something more "bwb". I was pleasantly surprised when he returned with an iced coffee with cubes made of frozen coffee! I love that they do this so as you sip, your coffee isn't watered down by the time you finish! We stopped here after a run on a chilly Saturday morning to warm up and grab some coffee before heading to the Michigan game. The café is warm and welcoming and the service was excellent. There is plenty of space for good conversation in a cozy setting. The cappuccino was delicious, and picked up a couple of sandwiches for the road. We will be returning! read more

They have excellent coffees, coffee drinks, and teas, plus homemade bakery items, soups, sandwiches, and desserts. Music lessons in private studio rooms, a small stage, and open-mic nights on Wednesdays add to the atmosphere. The coffee was fine but zero for customer service. Very rude. I asked for a soy mocha and when I asked if it had dairy in the chocolate I got an eye roll, and a 'well I don't know!' I saw it was ghirdelli' sore-mixed so I knew the answer. When we asked what was in the smoothies (my mom ordered one) her response was 'smoothie mix'. Jeez, thanks. If it's a premix, gross anyways. It was a rum mixer, FYI. We paid with a $50 and she handed back a $5.00 and some coins. The fifty was still on the counter so my mom mentioned it had been a fifty... So she handed her a ten. Then we asked how much it was and finally got the total ($14 something- an average cost). We finally helped her through the process of adding an additional $20. Don't be in customer service if you hate people! Definitely won't be back. read more

Real coffee made by real people with real love As lame and corny as that sounds, it's true. These folks care about their store and their product deeply, and it shows. You wont find it at Starbucks, and you sure as hell won't find it at McDonald's or Speedway (The latter two's coffee isn't even coffee as far as im concerned!). Great little cafe shop in whitmore lake. Owner was nice made my iced latte and breakfast sandwich even though it was past breakfast time. It is also a music store. Prices are super reasonable $4 for a breakfast sandwich and $5 for sandwiches homemade soups also. I picked up a piece of cinnamon coffee cake. Only thing is eggs seemed to microwaved same with bacon on sandwich. Otherwise great spot for cheap good food nice coffee drinks and baked goods! read more
