After a long hike, my friends wanted some good comfort food. So I told them I know where to go! We came here about 4:15pm on a Sunday and they closed at 5 pm. At first we didn't want to go in but the staff said it was no problem! The staff was so nice and helpful with answering questions about the menu because some of my friends were vegan. The decor and vibes of the whole staff and restaurant is so welcoming. We had a good time. The food taste like it's was made by my grandma and brought back some good memories! My favorite dishes are the Sunny Egg Noodles and the traditional fried pork!!!! The papaya salad was a hit! I love that it comes with pork rinds. So if ya in the area after a long hike, stop by and give them a try!

Stopped here again recently and wanted to try what the menu described as "coconut chicken soup" - so glad I did! This is such delicious soup! It's so difficult to describe the flavor. It's not sweet, like the coconut might make you think. It's rich and creamy and warm. I loved it. We also had the Sunny Noodles (I think that's what they were called!) and they were delicious too. Lovely thin strips of chicken in well flavored noodles. It's always busy here, but never takes too long to get our food. Always comfortable and clean as well.

I ate here for the first time during a lunch rush and the environment was a bit chaotic. There is no hostess stand or waiting area if the tables are full, which is why I'm giving four out of five stars. There is no clear direction to see a hostess or seat yourself so we checked at the counter before sitting down. On to the food...I was impressed by the food and presentation. Each dish was beautifully plated and the colors popped. We ordered the Veggie Spring Rolls and Egg Rolls as appetizers. I would definitely order the Egg Rolls again, those were amazing! The mint in the Spring Rolls was a bit strong. For my meal, I ordered Chicken Pineapple Fried Rice with a spice level of two. I was conservative with my spice level since it was my first dining experience here but I would try a four next time. I thought the dish was excellent, from the chicken to the cashews to the fried egg, I enjoyed it all. My mom ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken with a spice level of two. It was delicious, very crispy with plenty of sauce. My friend ordered the Masaman Curry Stir-Fry and thoroughly enjoyed it. We elected to order our Banana Egg Rolls for dessert to go and they were delicious. All the food was amazing and I can't wait to go back!

Overall a good experience. Schetchy at first walking up as the parkinglot and strip mall are not maintained very well. But was led to a pleasant surprise when I got inside, and it was very modern and new. The waitstaff was friendly and considering that they were busy, they did a good job. The only reason it is not a 5 for me is that the food was different. Not in a bad way, but the Pad Thai was calmer than normal and didn't have as much flavor. I also got the Tom Kha Gai soup and it was almost like a chicken broth with coconut powder texture, not the coconut milk soup I'm use to. Again it was not bad at all, just different. I will be back and you should too! Just be prepared for a different take on Thai Food

Came in around 2:00pm on a Sunday. It was super busy! Small space and it was packed, it got pretty warm quick. But the waitress was really good at multitasking and serving everyone. A little patience as a guest can go a long way. Now onto the food; The beef larb was good but not great. A solid 7/10. It wasn't anything special but it wasn't bad. Good savory/salty flavor. The Pork Prik Kanf Dang was really good, the savory/salty/sweet/spice was great. A solid 8.5/10. Sticky rice and steamed rice both tasted fresh and great. Also had 2 of their spring rolls, the rice paper felt really dry but the insides were nice and crunchy. The peanut sauce they use for the spring rolls is HEAVENLY. Really good peanut sauce.

Wow--this place is so good! I eat Pad Thai more than I care to admit, and The Peanut House has some of the best I've ever had! I decided to dine in, so I started with the papaya salad--it was fresh and had great flavor! I tried it Hmong-style. The staff was so kind and friendly, both over the phone when I called and at the restaurant. I will definitely be back.

I got pineapple fried rice it was delicious.

It was very good, both the service and the food it was very aesthetically pleasing to look at and I like the fact that it looks a bit like an open space.

This was my second Thai restaurant this week. I ordered Red Curry Tofu at both places. The Red Curry sauce at Thai Lotus was more traditional. The Peanut House has a thicker sauce Both are quite good. The portions of food are slightly larger for lunch at The Peanut House. The lunches at Thai Lotus includes the choice of Soup or Spring Roll or salad. I would gladly meet people for lunch at either restaurant. The Thai Iced at both restaurants were very tasty.

Simple place. Not high on traditional thai aesthetic style, but comfortable to me. More of an industrial feel. Ordered: Dumplings($6.55), tom kha gai ($6.95), thai fried rice (thai hot w shrimp)($10.95), jasmine tea ($2.50), thai tea ($3.99). Jasmine tea is served in simple, white, tea pot. Simple but elegant. Tom kha gai soup is a mild, comforting soup. Not very tangy, not very very salty. Mild in flavor, but I really enjoyed it as a comforting soup. It has tomato, snap pea pods, mushroom, bamboo shoots, onion, chicken, carrot. Thai basil fried rice was standard, reliable dish. I added more spice to my meal, but that's me. Nothing out of the ordinary, but its good for a quick meal. Prices are reasonable. I would come here for a regular meal, but not for a special occassion. This is a great place to order to-go for an enjoyable, quick meal at home. Service was okay. The waitresses were sweet and kind. I would come back to explore this restaurant's Laotian selection, as well. Lots to see and try here. I recommend. 4/5

Stopped here for lunch on a whim after getting my nails done just a few minutes away. My server was lovely, and helped me figure out what I wanted. I've never really liked Spring Rolls until I had them here! I got the child size since it's lunch, and it was amazing! I had tofu as my protein, and it was seasoned right and nicely textured. I definitely plan on returning!

Incredibly happy to find this place. The Yum Beef is superb and as a spicy seeker I recommend *** and asking for the spicy tray.

The service is friendly, but the food came out a bit slower (I had with four people total) than I expected. We got the Snow Pea Dish (Seafood Combination), Drunken Noodle with Chicken, Crispy Tofu, Rama Tofu, Red Curry, Tulip Dumpling, and Rice Pudding. I was pleasantly surprised the Drunken Noodle with Chicken! I enjoyed the sauce on my noodles which were also cooked well and did not clump together like at other places. I wish it was a bit spicy... next time I will ask for the chili spice rack (it was not readily available on the table). My cousins enjoyed their food, especially the tofu dishes. I ate a bit of the Crispy Tofu and I wish the tofu had some seasoning on it because the peanut sauce could only add so much flavor. I also tried a bit of the Rice Pudding, which is their mango sticky rice. I thought it was okay... the mango did not taste super fresh, maybe a bit artificial? But not bad! Overall, I am pleasantly surprised at how good my dish, the Drunken Noodle with Chicken tasted. I have eaten a lot of good Thai food, especially having lived/visited places like Atlanta/New York City, so I was not expecting this place... my tiny hometown... to be that good. Also, I had visited this restaurant a few years ago and I found the food to be very average, but this time it was very tasty. I am not sure if there was a change in chefs or management in recent years, but keep up the good work!

The place seemed cozy and quiet and the waitress was nice. However, when we received our food, I was very disappointed. The food that we ordered was okay but the portions were so little. We ordered like 8-10 different plates of food. How do you expect to feed 6 people when it's only enough for 4. Come on...It's almost like you have to order double and it's not cheap. As for the food, we didn't like much of the taste. When you are Asian, you know what good food is. For instance, I had the Tom Yum Soup. It didn't taste quite like Tom Yum Soup and the same goes for the Pork Curry. The whole time that we were eating there, my wife and I still think that Jin's Buffet by Walmart, should've been a better choice. Oh well, I guessed you have to learn from your mistake. After dinner, it's funny, the waitress asked if we would like some boxes for our left over food. I'm like, no we're good. What left over food...? My advice for customers: If you have never had Asian Food, you might think that this place is a good place to eat. However, if you did have Asian Food elsewhere you would know the differences when it comes to taste. Maybe you don't care, that's your business. I respect that. I'm just letting you know. My advice for the owner: Please be aware of the people you served. You can't serve 6-10 people like you would 2-4. You can't be greedy when it comes to food. People like it when you give them a lot of food. Your customers will be coming back even if the food isn't that great. As for me and my family, it would be a long time before we ever come back to Thai Lotus....
