Some coworkers of mine came here after a meeting a few weeks ago, and they brought back some samples to share with us. They were really impressed, so when I found myself in East Lansing, I decided to find this store and come here as well. The aroma when you walk into this tiny store is just amazing. The people are very friendly as well. I love that they sell as small as 1/4 pound, and they put the prices right next to the items. I ended up with cashews, Spanish peanuts (I haven't seen those in years!) regular peanuts and sweet peanut squares. They were an excellent snack for my journey home! And a very nice surprise was that the parking meters are free on weekends!

Was walking around and thought I would stop in and I tried the mud pie. Superrrr good but it's so big and rich I won't be able to finish it haha. The staff were super friendly and nice and there are lots of options to pick from

Cute little shop. We saw it while driving through the area. My husband loves this kind of stuff. The store was cute. A lot of different types nuts and even some candies. They roast about 90% of the nuts in house. The stars was because of service. It was a bit stodgy and they weren't very friendly or welcoming. Not much help on telling us about the products or recommendations. As for in store pictures I don't have any to post sadly. We were yelled at while trying to take some. I guess they don't allow it. Odd but at least the nuts were good. Based on service I wouldn't be dying to stop back in

This was a cute little shop that has been around for over 80 years located a couple blocks from the capitol. This was my first time in East Lansing and as soon as I passed this store I had to go in. They have a huge variety of nuts and trail mix, they charge according to weight and have very reasonable prices! This place did not disappoint and would recommend to stop in!

This fudge company is now officially my FAVORITE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!!! It started with something…read moreminor that isn't the company's fault (I bought a fudge cup in a store that buys from a distributor. For some reason, the paper wouldn't come off the fudge and therefore I couldn't eat it. I saw a phone number on the container that held the fudge cup, so I called to let them know what happened. I was surprised to hear a real person answer after only a few rings! She was so kind. I explained the situation. She apologized and asked if I could send her pictures. She gave me a phone number to send the pictures and while we were still on the phone, I sent the pictures. She couldn't believe her eyes and asked for the lot # on the container to help her sort out what happened and hopefully prevent it in the future; I provided it to her. Last but not least, she said she'd send me some new fudge...fast forward to last week, when I opened my mailbox to find...a HEAVY BOX!!! I was simply expecting replacement of the fudge cup, but I opened the box to find not only about 10 times the amount of fudge in my original purchase, but she also included a Bavarian Pretzel, Chocolate No-Bake Cookies, Sea Salt Caramel (shaped like a cookie), and deviled eggs in the form of white chocolate!! My husband and I are NOT fans of salt and chocolate combined, but we ABSOLUTELY LOVED the Sea Salt Caramel!!! I also don't like dark chocolate, but this company really makes EXCELLENT Sea Salt Caramel with dark chocolate on the outside! Everything in the box was truly delicious - no kidding, and now they've got a customer for LIFE!!! I'm so appreciative of them going above and beyond to make things right for a simple fudge cup - thanks so much, How Sweet It Is Fudge & Candy Company!!! Note: The picture doesn't show all the candy because we ate most of it before I thought to take a picture, lol.

I stop in at this store every chance I get. EVERYTHING I have tried was delicious!!…read more I have telephoned orders in to be shipped out of State - products were delivered as promised and were enjoyed by those receiving them. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!! :)

Gosh, I didn't know what I was missing. This is a true IYKYK! Once you have visited Horrocks, you will return for life. This is a magnificent, rustic, unique, expansive establishment that offers a cornucopia of items. From floral, to meats, cheeses, wine, speciality items, fruits, snacks, vegetables, hard-to-find items and more. There is so much more! Things that stood out even though I loved everything about this place: -the vast selection of canisters of olive oils -the vast array of different varieties of balsamic vinegars (amazing!) -house made items in every area -house made popcorn with so many flavors, so fresh. -the many, many homemade soups: probably around 20 different kinds and delicious. -a ramen bar, what? -bakery -pizzeria -exotic fruits and vegetables and regulars ones too -the wine bar: sip while you shop. -house-made sausages and cheeses -house-made jams, jellies, local honey -extensive variety of spices, herbs, flour and grains - great service, very helpful. This is a must try and truly a destination. I cannot wait to shop and browse here again!
