Second time here and I still love the place. I tried the Oh-Doh (oreo brownie cookie dough) and it was to die for and somehow not ridiculously sweet. Their pricing is fair for being unique baked goods and I love how diverse their options are. The space is cozy and perfect for those on the run or looking for somewhere to get some work done while enjoying a coffee and a treat. We were warmly greeted by the staff (Ava and Eliza). We really enjoyed our purchases: a latte, wraps and a cookie; all were delicious! The place is very cute, the baked goods and wraps are very creative, and I enjoyed their clever names. :) Highly recommend!! read more

I probably go here 3 times a week. The service is so quick and the workers are so kind. The food is incredible personally I get the hearty sparty and any cold brew is great. The vibe of this place is great, they have welcoming decor, and friendly staff. However, after visiting on two separate occasions I will not be returning. Both times I have gone, I have ordered a drink to-go and waited well over a half hour for it to be served. I write this review as I'm sitting here now, 39 minutes after ordering an iced coffee. I consider myself to be patient, but for an already overpriced and small coffee, waiting 40 minutes is outrageous (and clearly a pattern). Everything here is great! (That's why there are so many ppl here, lol) The Belgium waffle breakfast sandwich and the overnight oats are my favorites. And there are these cookie sandwiches that should feed four ppl, they're so huge, but two of us ate it all. They're perfect. (But very indulgent) Call-in your order if you can- the online ordering system was not working today- because there's no 6 fr spacing or limits inside, just up to the customers (and ppl brought their entire households today vs just one person coming in to order/wait) If you order ahead, it's waiting on the tables for you. read more

What a sweet little bakery and cafe. I met friends here for coffee and donuts while visiting from out of town. It was their recommendation, and I'm glad they offered the suggestion. The shop itself is adorable with lots of natural light and plenty of seating. The decor is cute and very Michigan-themed, including some children's books for perusal. The pastry cases were well-stocked and everything looked super delicious. I took off a star for customer service. No one greeted us, including the cashier, and the person who brought our coffees to us could not have been less pleased to do so. We asked a question about one of the donuts and the staffer seemed annoyed that she had to answer it. We ordered two cinnamon twists, which were the hit of our table (including for the toddler who licked all of the cinnamon sugar off, fulfilling every fantasy we've all had). We also ordered a Puppy Love, a decadent chocolate donut topped with vanilla frosting, peanut butter frosting, and puppy chow. I might still be in a sugar coma, and it's been 12 hours, but it was totally worth it. My oat milk latte was good but not great. I'm not sure they're using barista-quality oat milk, which would make a difference. read more

I'd actually give a 2.5 but they don't let you do halves. First of all, the girl up front didn't greet me and when I asked questions she gave me somewhat of an attitude and did not say thank you. She also gave me the wrong donut which I'm super disappointed about and didn't notice until I got to work so check your bags!! The donut she gave me instead of the s'mores donut I requested (and was super excited about) was surprisingly the best one tho. The glazed old fashion had none of the desired components... not a crispy outside or a particularly soft inside. Ok flavor but that's about it. Bottom of my list for the area. The chocolate chip cookie cheesecake bar was not on my list but looked amazing so I picked it up. Umm not sure how it could NOT be amazing given the ingredients... but it wasn't. Completely underwhelming. Not bad... cause well it's cheesecake but very disappointing in comparison to similar treats I've had. Then I got the lemon sugar cookie with macadamia nuts. Last time I went to a bakery I didn't get a cookie but someone else did and I regretted it so I took a shot... another miss. First thing in the AM and it was hard. Clearly not made today. Super disappointing flavor as well. You basically get a lackluster and a chunk of sugar that's just thrown on top. The mystery donut I had was like a glazed yeast donut but cut in half with some mystery goo in the middle. Frosting and sprinkles on top. Elevated glazed donut... it was tasty. 7.5/10 from a girl who prefers glazed cake/old fashioned donuts. Overall, super disappointed because everything LOOKED so good. They have a wide and delicious looking selection so I would still go back... especially to try the s'mores donut I was supposed to get but I would not buy anything I had today again. read more

This place was amazing! Seriously, sooo good We had a few different donuts between all of us (#familyof6) and we had to go back in and get a couple more because they were so delicious! The blueberry crumble donut was one of the best donuts I've had! The glazed croissant was delicious and the old fashion was what I loved is that these donuts were not too sweet! Shocking, right?! They look like they would be too sweet because of all the flavors and fillings and stuff but they're perfect. We went back in to get to another blueberry crumble and then tried the coconut with coconut lime cream sooo good! We will definitely stop again when we are in Lansing. read more

Want to love this place! It checks all the boxes for charm, ambiance, and visual food appeal. I recently tried the "deconstructed" cupcake in a cup and found it to be tooth ache sweet. Honestly, it looked delicious and enticing so you can understand my disappointment. The icing on the cinnamon rolls and donuts followed suit as well. I enjoy sugar myself! So when I say it's too sweet, it is. This place is very popular with a lot of people. Just not my cup of tea. read more

I have come a couple of times and it just feels like the only place that has the type of food I would cook for myself- healthy with a side of sweets. And the coffee is strong enough too! Place can get crowded so be ready if you are only going here to study. It seems to be more of a meet and chat place- plenty of different seating short and tall, small tables and 4-6 person tables plus the little couch and armchair area at the door. I would highly recommend this place for brunch foods, nice coffee chat environment, and flavored cold brew coffees. Coffee was great. Sandwiches came out wrong, just one item on the sandwich menu with no mayo and that's what we both ordered, got the wrong item and then had to go through several staff to explain no, we didn't want what we didn't order and sorry but please no mayonnaise. Then someone comes out to say but we're out of lettuce and tomato. By this point despite donut appetizer we wanted anything so asked them to please just make what we asked for, forget the tomato and lettuce. Supposed to be a sourdough bread, more like a plain white. I never was big on donuts, but every once in a while I do enjoy one to curb my sweet tooth. Today we picked up donuts from Mitten Raised and they were excellent! I had the apple pie donut, my dad had the one that looks like an eclair, and I got my significant other one that had peanut butter and butterfinger in it. All together with a tall coffee it was ~$12 out the door, which we thought was reasonable. I am looking forward to coming back for an ice cream cookie sandwich someday, and will definitely keep this spot in mind for custom order birthday cakes! read more

Very cute coffee shop. I stayed for 5 hours to finish up a difficult school assignment. The noise level was just right, nice music in the background and some background noise - but not too much to distract a lot from my studies. There were also plenty of outlets for me to charge my laptop and phone. I got a latte and it was delicious. They are a little pricey but still on par with many coffee shops in the area. The employees were super friendly, and I was even offered a donut at the end of the night near close - I am assuming they were going to throw away because it couldn't be sold the next day. Found myself such a cute new place to study! (if only they were open longer). The have such a fun and cute aesthetic and offered me and my friends some cheesecake samples while we were studying. I'm very excited for them to get their new espresso machine running, but before that I've tried many of their sweets and their nitro and cold brews. I think we've found a new weekend breakfast haunt. I went here pre-pandemic a couple of times to grab some coffee but never anything else. I think they must have expanded their offerings, because we were able to grab some sandwiches, a bakery item, and a really great cookie butter latte. I got the sparty bagel sandwich which was amazing, and my husband got a waffle breakfast sandwich. He loved the sandwich but for some reason, he couldn't get over how much he loved the tater tots.
