Dr. Miller, Sani, and Madden are together, a fantastic team. They are empathetic, compassionate and extremely competent doctors. Dr Madden in particular spotted an issue last year with my son, which turned out to be a hernia in the making, so we were able to get help from Maryland Urology before it turned into a painful hernia. The ability to call them during off hours is always appreciated and they never make us feel awkward or silly for calling, even if we were maybe being over protective. Lastly, the only negative is, there is one person who answers the phone on occasion who is a little short with clients. She can be impatient if we ask questions at times, however the rest of the staff are amazing.

She is so helpful and really takes time and attention in explaining things to us without making us feel bad about the things that we could have done better. It really matters how she communicates to us with compassion, especially being first time parents. The staff and nurses are always very nice and patient especially when giving shots to my son who is always cry hysterically. The patient portal is so convenient in reviewing medical records and making appointments. You can get help 24/7 and talk to doctors and nurses for emergencies.

I arrived early to complete paperwork. We were called back into an exam room around 8:20, not sure if this was by a doctor or a nursing staff. This woman never once smiled, introduced herself, or anything like that. At 8:30, she had me fill out a form to get my daughter's prior immunization records. At 8:50, she came back for the paper. By this time, the only thing that had been done for my daughter was her weight and height. I waited until 9 and decided to leave. I just didn't feel like this was the right practice for my family. When I left, I told one of the staff at the front desk that I wasn't happy with the experience and brought up the fact I had been waiting quite a while and how the dirty the floor was. I was told they would cancel my appointment. Customer service doesn't seem to be a strong suit for this business. If you're looking for a pediatrician, keep looking!

Update!!! This practice separated into two and went way down hill!! My daughter has been going her…read moresince 3 days old. The call in method directs you all over. My daughter hurt her wrist enough to need a splint. Her insurance unfortunately all of a sudden required a referral for an orthopedic. I called Arundel Peds to get them to fax one. They wouldn't because she was considered "a new patient" because she hadn't been in a few years. My daughter was in a lot of pain, and really didn't need to be poked at. They wouldn't fax a referral even though I explained to she was in no condition to be seen. The receptionist have/had no bedside manner! When we took her they insisted she get shots in both arms (including the sore arm) really??? (Her dad took her or id off insisted to wait) Then when she saw the doctor we were told that a well visit was not even needed. So put my kid through more unnecessary misery instead of faxing a referral. We will be changing insurances and going elsewhere!

My daughter has been a patient since 2009. They came to the hospital when she was first born and were very knowledgeable about the process! My daughter was a patient of Dr. Jobes, who left this practice! We simply adored her and were sad that she was leaving! However, we had to choose another primary in the office and were pleased to with all of the options present! All of the docs and nurses are very knowledgeable and are very good with children and babies! My daughter is not afraid at all to come to the office for a visit! Even for shots, they are quick and get em done! We totally adored the young lady Vanessa who assisted in our daughter's appointments prior to her turning 3! She cared very much for our little one which made it very easy to come back and feel good about the practice! The office is very colorful with a sick room and a well room to keep the children separate if they are ill! We all know we've contacted a place and they sell you roses but get there and it's dead Lillie's-not here though! We've been here a few months now and each and every time I contacted them for my child medical issues, they've been on point! I receive call backs in a timely manner as well as follow ups to ensure I was able to get what I was contacting them for at the time. The front desk person(I forgot her name) is amazing. I even dealt with his not so nice wife (the reason for the huge turn over). I was going to court for a foster child and the day before the notes were requested from her last doc visit. I emailed the office first thing in the morning. No reply all day. I called and was told they have a new policy. It would take 72hr for them to print out the notes for me. Mind you I've been there and seen that it only takes 5 minutes to print. I explained the situation and asked for this one time courtesy. The girl said no. Wouldn't let me speak to Mrs.Darlene (docs wife). I call back again trying to get the young girl to understand that sometimes exceptions have to be made and I've been supporting him 30 yrs etc. still she refused. I asked her to have Darlene call me but of course she never returned my call. So I texted doc Israel's cell phone. Explained the situation and he said they were working on printing my notes right then (a lie). I thanked him and even asked God to bless him. But the office closed with out me getting my call back from Darlene or me getting those notes for court. He didn't support this foster baby in an emergency so I will no longer support him. He always said "I'm so proud of you mama and the job your doing with these foster babies". Well I'm no longer proud of his job with my foster babies. I'm disappointed and hurt by how cold and uncaring this girl was. I'm bettering lives and she was gate keeping somethjng so important that would've taken her 5 minutes. Her bedside manner is great, and I think she's been reasonable and helpful with rendering care. She's also been flexible with allowing me to do some visits virtually, if practical. I read others' comments regarding other members of the practice, to which I really cannot comment. I've met with NP Hayden, and spoken several times via phone to Dr. Miller. All of whom have given practical and reasonable medical advice. The front office staff has always been pleasant and kind with me. I am a big believer in the idea that you receive what you give--kindness included (not always, but most of the time). People are just people, sometimes we have good days, and other times-- not so much. I am not saying it's ok to be rude, but it's not been my experience that any of the staff here have treated me poorly. I also think it's been a positive addition to the practice to bring on a full-time phlebotomist, which has made blood draws faster and much easier. I enjoy the convenience of not needing to be referred out to another lab for routine lab work. I am not invalidating the experience of others but wanted to offer a balanced perspective from the other end of things.

While conducting research for a primary care physician, a few things were very important to me; professionalism, knowledge and experience are key, and Dr Donkor certainly possesses all of these, but equally important... he takes his time with his patients so they're comfortable, he explains everything to me as their parent so I never leave confused with questions or concerns. He is extremely thorough and I'm always confident in his work. His assistants are friendly and have been there for as long as I can remember. English is my only language and I can understand Dr Donkor perfectly. I really couldn't be any happier with my children's PCP, Dr Donkor.

I've also never waited more than 24 hours to have a prescription refilled. The front desk staff is efficient, organized, and helpful. It is rare that we have to wait very long for our appointments.
