When Carl walked me over to the business and economics section it was so well organized I was able to take my time and go through it one book at a time. I found several books on Howard Hughes that I wasn't expecting to see. His staff is great, very hospitable. If you're ever in Omaha Nebraska make sure you visit Jackson Street booksellers. It is only open a handful of hours per week, so certainly check their Facebook page! Once you catch them on their open days, it is certainly worth it! It is such a small book store that each book in there has a reason, as it says in their bio! There is a section for each type of reader, small and older! The ladies at the checkout were helpful and make pleasant conversation that doesn't feel forced, which is so nice. "Bookstore" meaning that they carry a large selection of Bibles and of Christian-themed books, while also carrying cards, kitschy gifts which appeal to a very specific suburban demographic, and so forth. Books include Bibles, study guides, preaching aids, reference works, clean fiction, and guides for navigating just about any life problem you might encounter. They used to have an extensive selection of music CDs, but that's gone for the same reason that nobody else sells CDs anymore. They're independent and locally owned, so I make an effort to shop here even if I could save a few pennies online.
