Upon arrival, I found the facility very modern, clean and organized. They had several tables in the middle for dine-in. The axe throwing cages were large, each with 2 lanes and firm fence all around. It was easy go in and out of the lane and interact with friends. There also had several drinks and alcohol available at the bar/register counter. At the beginning a staff member briefed us the axe throwing process and assisted us with first few throws. Then we played about 6 rounds of games. The boards were in pretty bad condition, as they were being for a long time. Bullseye and other markings almost faded away. After that, we tried the daggers for few rounds. None of us could really stick the daggers in the board. The cost came about $36 CAD per person for about 45 minutes. Overall we had a good fun time. They staff were friendly and helpful.

Although they have food options available, I was amazed to find out that I was able to order in the food of my choice (see review for Bosphorus). BATL set up our area for our spread and provided us with plates and utensils. Upon arrival, we were provided with comprehensive instructions on how to throw by our amazing instructor, Angel. Her enthusiasm was next level and right from the start, she had the team engaged and excited. The couple of hours we had booked flew bye and everyone had a great time. I would definitely recommend booking them for any type of event.

The food here accompanied me through the pandemic pretty much. I thought about it the other day, so I brought my mom back here to dine in. My mom really likes a Vietnamese pork chop, so I want to see if she would enjoy the Filipino charcoal-grilled version of it (she rarely had any Filipino food in her life). We ordered the BBQ grill platter with rice and four tacos to share since our visit was on a Tuesday. So, we actually didn't enjoy the tacos as much. The jerk chicken had an unexpected vinegar flavour (it was more like a chicken adobo), and the other chicken was served as popcorn chicken with spicy mayo. I was not the biggest fan, I have to say. The fish and beef tacos were better than the chicken ones, but there was nothing too special about them. The grilled platter was the hit, though--to me, grilled meat and dishes are always the signature of limitless. The meats were full of charcoal flavour. The pork chop & the skrewers were lean yet fragrant without being overly greasy (like many other restaurants). They went super well with rice. I was hoping that they would serve the raisin coleslaw tho--those were great back then, lol. I bet the Kamayan feast at Limitless would be worth a try. I'll come back with my gang of kuyas another day

She put that on the table but didn't touch it and even ordered a plate of home fries. She got asked to relocate the food to the kitchen which I understand of the food policy of each restaurant. However, she promised to put it away but my colleague said the staff kept checking if she was gonna eat the take out instead. I think is kinda rude to do that or nowadays people just don't trust the others. Service was soso. Monday was not a busy night but didn't know why the service was like that. I ordered chicken wings and I think it was a bit over-cooked or it supposed to be that dry.

Hoops is a chained restaurant? How?…read more Let me get this in the open right now; if you are a civilized person, do not come here. If you're looking for a place to subside your hunger, do not come here. If lack the physical ability to defend yourself, do not come here. And if you are a York University student looking for some late night grub, don't have a car and this was the only place open, still..do not come here! I have been here on several occasions, none of which were voluntary, and all of them during the late hours. I like to call it: 'The Hoops of York' You will never have trouble finding parking here as the enormous lot caters exclusively to its patrons at night with every other store closed. This run-on sentence concludes everything good I have to say about Hoops. Upon entrance, you are met by baseball caps, size XXL collared shirts on medium sized people, medium Tapout shirts on XXL people, students who should be studying at the Library at York instead, and clusters of Abercrombie & Fitch catalogue rejects. You will see beings of all stereotypes, and if you're lucky you might even see the waitress who is supposed to seat you. There are plenty of flat screens to keep you distracted while you endure the unbearable wait for your food. They go out of their way in promoting the wings here, and if you order anything else, I suggest you bring a Rubik's cube to keep you company. The portion of the wings & fries are generous, but once you sink your teeth in, it quickly becomes obvious that these wings have been frozen..and probably for a long time. Seriously, what on Earth do they expect you to do with all that fries?! Don't come here with more than a group of four. But if you are, I hope for your sake there's a game on, and you're planning to watch it til the end. On certain days of the week, you'll get some army guys from the armoury nearby after 10:30 at night. Whether you support the troops or not, for goodness sake do not go near them. They will start a fight with you, as they believe they own the place. But that just about goes for every click who frequent here. There is an air of tension between each table. Someone once threatened me saying that his uncle was "up there" with the Hell's Angels. So naturally I told him that my uncle was "up there" with Toronto Police, and it would be lovely if our uncles were ever to meet. It gets pretty busy at night with students who don't know how to cook, and are too good for instant noodles. They even have a DJ booth at the elevated section spinning everything I hate. The restaurant is horribly under staffed, and it appears that the bartender seconds as the manager at front of house. Its miraculous that anyone here gets their order at this place. Honestly, my Yorkie friends. Forget about taking your hot classmate here to try to inebriate her. Just do her homework instead. It's faster.

The spinach dip was decent but nothing too special. The banana cheesecake was pretty unique and had a good consistency but it gets pretty sweet so i definitely recommend sharing. The thing with this sandwich that made it so good was the combination of red pepper and feta cheese with it. it was a unique combo that had flavour in every bite. Of course, the fries with gravy superb as always since the fries are double cooked. The service was on point and professional like it always is with One Eyed Jack. the ambiance for sports is probably the best in the city of Barrie. Watching it, it reminded me of Shanghai and their clubs with all the lights, and electric music. Immediately I was excited! So I called them and made a reservation on Monday for Friday for 5 people. I got in contact with Alex, the manager, he set us up for Friday and answered any question I had. As this place is very new, there weren't many images or a website set up when I found them, and I was still unsure if they were open due to COVID. But they are open! I informed my girls of this place, they were thrilled and our group quickly turned from 5 to 7. Luckily, I called Leng Keng back asking if I could increase the size of my party & they were able to accommodate me! During our reservation: Coming to the place, the exterior isn't the most attractive setting. But as we looked past it, inside was just like the video that I had seen. It took me back to the time I was out with my expat friends in Shanghai club hopping. Covid protocols: Since we're still in a pandemic, Leng Keng had great protocols emplaced. As we showed our IDs to security, we signed in with our name and phone numbers. Once inside, there were masks & hand sanitizer available at the door. The tables were well distanced and people would stay within their allocated booths. The atmosphere of Leng Keng is extremely beautiful, nothing like I've ever seen in other Toronto bars/lounges/clubs. The lights are constantly moving & changing colours very beautifully as electric music plays in the background. We were greeted by very nice servers that showed us to our table. Once seated, we were able to take in the place more, & my friends were truly impressed by the place. For food we ordered Calamari and French Fries to share. For drinks we ordered Cosmos, Rum & Coke, Margaritas & a couple shots of Vodka. Everything tasted well, besides the Calamari that was slightly too fishy, the Margaritas didn't come with limes or salt on the rim of the cup. Other than that, this place was magnificent & we do believe Leng Keng has great potential in being the next trending spot in Toronto. We will be back soon! Thank you!
