I'll let you decide how you feel: My three year old cat had a urinary obstruction. I took him to the vet three times to get checked and they refused to help because he wouldn't pee for them. WE LOVE THE PET HOSPITAL DAY CARE AND STAFF!!!! We initially took our buddy to The Pet Hospital to get him used to other dogs and that was back in 2020 and we have been going ever since. Dexter loves all the staff and I know this as he bolts into the door and his tail is wagging as he is so happy. He plays so hard that he crashes when he gets home after eating. All we have to say to him in the morning is, "Let's go play with your friends and see Ms. Stacy!" he jumps in the car and as soon as we pull in the parking lot he knows he is going to be having some fun! This is not a safe place for your dog. My dog was groomed and came back injured. It looked and he acted like he had been hung. They pretended they didn't know how it happened. In addition the receptionist's who answer the phone have been extremely rude when I asked a couple questions to clarify ( because they weren't clear). Then scoffed at me. Great service. Great staff. On the expensive side as far as vets go. But LOvE Dr. Wooden so we pay it.

We chose to get my yorkie pup neutered here a while back (forgot to write a review to warn others) because it was the best price option for us. We were called during his surgery because he had a couple baby teeth left. The vet informed us it would be best to pull them while he is sedated WITHOUT telling us the price or any other information. I think that is very sketchy and pushy for her to do that. We discovered the bill to be OVER $300 when the price to neuter was around $150. She should have informed me of the price to pull the baby teeth ON THE PHONE. I can't stand people who cheat their customers. We were too new at being dog parents to even try to fight them at the time. Shame on them for trying to cheat every penny from new dog parents. read more

Overall the customer service is good, but their business practices are off. They add on extra tests and charges that never make sense. The vets are just fine, seem to follow a protocol and do tests for cya. You will spend a fortune for any visit. Both my dogs have had serious surgeries here and ended up getting post treatment other places. read more

How they changed, I'm going elsewhere. Vet I say there previously is no longer there? Dr.Brown is vey inexperienced or just wants to run expensive tests and implicated all kinds of potential serious issues , before getting all the information from blood work. She tried to imply that I told her the problem ! Very poor at listening to the client or has a financial reason to perform expensive testing and not communicating with the client. Did not take in consideration previous same issue that our cat had before, did not take temperature or take it properly the first day! Did not wait on blood tests before preforming more expensive X-rays and ultrasound . Actually had a different vet perform the ultrasound and administer antibiotics the next day. They never told me or called me only to pick up my cat later the second day! Never going there again!!!. read more

We have been using The Pet Hospitals for quite a while now. Every time our dogs go to Doggie Daycare, I am blown away by the amount of love and care they show to our dogs. They truly are there to make sure the dogs are having a fun, albeit safe, time. Our doggos come home happy and ready for a good long nap! The same holds true for the veterinary staff. They are the most caring people. They want your dog happy and healthy and able to live their best life. They are so knowledgeable and professional. I could not recommend the Pet Hospitals in Collierville more. Unfortunately, our elderly terrier suffered from end-stage renal failure. Dr. George, Sydney, and the rest of the staff were so wonderful to work with during such a sad and difficult time for us. Dr. George's efforts with our pup bought us several weeks, allowing us to prepare for the end. When the time did actually come to say our final goodbyes, the care and compassion shown to us was so touching. We have used Dr. Hannah Weimer for our fur baby and couldn't be happier! She treats our baby like she's her own and is just so loving and thorough with her care! Unfortunately, I have to update my review. Since previously reviewing, we have had a couple events that have me feeling negatively about the Pet Hospitals. First, our dogs got in a fight; we paid $800 for very basic first aid treatment, were told that we should probably keep our pets separated from now on (absolutely ridiculous), and the vet called me the next day and in an extremely rude/condescending manner suggested that I come get xrays done. I was hesitant, but complied; another $300 and everything was fine, as expected. Second, we recently had issues with our dog vomiting for approximately a week. I mentioned this and my concern. Our vet (different vet from the incident above) suggested that it was likely heartburn. A day and a half later, our dog vomited up a soft toy; we were lucky, but the vet's oversight could have cost us our pet or thousands of dollars. Overall, the Pet Hospitals is very organized and a nice location. When we were being treated by Dr. Weimer, we were extremely happy. Since being switched to a new vet at this location, we're strongly considering switching where we take our pets. read more

The boarding at the Collierville Pet Hospital is exceptional. I never worry about our Molly when she stays there. The staff is extremely caring and loving. They send me pictures when she's there. Molly loves it. She never looks back at me when we take her. She wags her tail and is so happy. A happy dog means happy parents. read more

My dogs get better medical care than I do! It's so easy to make an appointment and we're never kept waiting. All of the staff is super-friendly. Unlike the "people Doc" they even give you the medicine and cut the pills in half when necessary.
