Most handlers in the yard have also been wonderful from what I've seen. At the end of the day, this is the only place I fully trust with my dog. On multiple occasions, food was left behind when I picked him up, which is unusual for my dog. I initially assumed these were isolated incidents, but after reading Yelp and Google reviews, I realized many other customers were reporting similar concerns involving communication, feeding, and overall care. I was also troubled to learn through public reviews that a dog had escaped and was subsequently killed. As a pet parent, that information was alarming and raised questions about the safeguards in place to protect the dogs entrusted to the facility. To their credit, the facility now has a new manager and the district manager did eventually provide a detailed response to many of my concerns. However, one of the most consistent issues has been the lack of timely follow-up. In my experience, it often takes multiple calls, emails, or weeks of waiting to receive answers. I am hopeful that the operational changes currently being implemented lead to meaningful improvements. My goal in sharing this review is not to discourage others from using the facility, but to encourage greater transparency, communication, and accountability. While our family was away on vacation, Liz went above and beyond in looking after our boys. We received regular updates complete with photos and videos showing our boys looking happy, comfortable and well cared for. Liz was diligent in adhering to the feeding and medication schedules for both dogs, and provided them with affection and care throughout her visits. If I email her a question through the website she always responds promptly. Our dog recently developed Cushings disease. Very Disappointing Experience With Management…read more We scheduled our two-year-old Toy Poodle for an 11:00 AM grooming appointment about a week in advance, and we arrived on time. Our dog is extremely friendly, happy, and easygoing. The groomer herself was pleasant, available, and told us she was ready to start. Unfortunately, our experience with the manager was completely different. The manager told my wife that our dog would have to be kept in a cage and that we would be charged an additional fee. She also said that after the grooming and shower, our dog would again be placed in the cage. When my wife asked what the additional charge was for, the manager's attitude was rude and disrespectful. What I don't understand is this: If we made an appointment a week in advance, arrived exactly at 11:00 AM, and the groomer was available and ready, why should our dog have to wait in a cage and why should we be asked to pay an additional charge? I want to be fair--the groomer was nice and professional, and our complaint is not about her. Our problem was specifically with the manager and how she handled and communicated the situation. I hope the owner reads this review because good groomers can build a business, but poor customer service from management can drive good customers away. I strongly recommend that the owner review what happened and clarify the business's policies regarding appointment times, cage time, and additional fees.
