We have a wonderful cat and dog and just used Adriana for the first time. We just adopted a rescue dog who is about a year old and a husky/pointer mix. She has special needs due to some injuries, abuse and paralysis in her left paw that occurred before we adopted her. We've had her for less than 4 months and while she's very loving to us, she's shy to strangers and doesn't let people touch her other than my partner and me. Her set up is in the house (not in a crate) and she goes to the backyard to eat, potty and run around several times a day and only does long walks once a week until her injuries are healed. We went on a 3 day trip and ended up hiring Adriana and she was so incredible. She came for a meet and great before we left and we all immediately liked her. She did so great with both our dog and cat so we left her the key and hoped all would go well. She gave us updates on every visit with photos and details of each visit and everything was way smoother than I expected - there were no problems at all! By the 2nd day my dog let Adriana pet her!! way past due for my review! Like everyone else, I have to agree that Adriana is amazing and has removed such a weight off my shoulders every time we travel! I have 3 cats, one of which is disabled and needs medication 2 times a day plus uses a pee pad.... it was getting bad to ask friends to handle this kind of " hey, watch my cats for me please?" care when I would have to go away on trips to visit family. My one cat needs his medication 12 hours apart for seizures, plus the pad cleanup and usual cat scooping care on top of it... well it is quite a commitment. I was so stuck because I only trusted friends with my special little guy, but was afraid to board him someplace for the daily care, and was afraid of the cost to hire someone to come since two visits per day adds up the cost fast! Adriana is SO amazing though, I am glad I found her on yelp! She is so sweet and kind! My cats are now always in very relaxed and happy state when I return home.... in the past they would be so stressed out and clingy from being left alone! She texts you updates if anything is wrong or may be needed to make your pets comfy, sits and spends honest tlc time with them, and gives them little write up report cards at the end! She is also so great at cleaning up, which I feel awful she even has to do (sloppy eating crumbs, knocked over water, poo outside the box, pee pad, random hairball surprise.... god forbid my cats behave while a guest is there for them :/ ) but she always promptly handles it. We met Adriana at VCA in Burbank, where we have been taking our cat since we got him in 2011. She was working their part-time. Our cat has some special medical needs, so we are unable to simply leave him under our landlords care if we were to be away for extended periods as we did with our previous cat. All I can say is that Furr Paws Only is the best pet sitting service we have used, we have been using their services since 2012. Adriana, our pet sitter, is reliable, very sweet with our dogs, the prices are great and we have the assurance that our pets are safe, well fed, and exercised on a daily basis when we are out of town. When we are out of town we always get daily updates and pictures of our furry kids and when we return home, the doggies are calm, happy and with the same weight we left them with :) . Every time she comes home to walk the doggies and we are home we can see how our doggies go crazy happy when she comes. We've tried many pet sitters and I like Adrianna the best. She's super nice, caring, trustworthy, and great with our dogs/cats. She's also good with people, which I found is very hard to find in pet sitters for some reason. This review is long, so I'll get to the important stuff first: Adriana is fantastic! She's knowledgeable, caring, conscientious, and trustworthy. I recommend her very highly. Back in March, my 16 year old dog was deteriorating physically but still happy and enjoying life. Because I work full time, I first installed cameras so that I could keep an eye on him during the day. When he began to have difficulty getting up on his own, I knew I had to hire someone to help me keep him comfortable. I found Adriana on this site and based on the positive reviews, I asked her to help me out. She was (is) wonderful. She came by twice a day and lifted him off his bed, took him outside so he could get some sun, and made sure he had some water and treats. As I still had the cameras, I occasionally was at my desk and able to see her visits. She treated my sweet boy with kindness and respect, and he clearly enjoyed the attention. After I lost him in June, Adriana continued to come by twice a week to walk my other dog, who is very reserved and was very depressed over the loss of her buddy. Adriana has been able to become her friend, and she is once again a happy, happy dog. I have had dog walkers in the past with other dogs, and Adriana is far and away the best I've ever met. Adriana is the best! We traveled to see family during the holidays and were recommended Furr Paws Only from our vet. Not only was it cheaper than boarding our cat, but she was so much happier getting to stay at home. Adriana was very professional and accommodating when we met her, and she sent me frequent text messages with pictures of our cat so that I knew how she was doing. The updates set my mind at ease. I assume Adriana must have a special touch with animals, because my cat is extremely shy and always hides whenever someone comes into my apartment, but she warmed up to Adriana so well that as soon as she walked in the door, my cat would come running.
