I've actually been meaning to write a review for a while now as I've been taking my Nova there for years! I just had her there again over the weekend and it's my favorite dog boarding! I haven't had the luxury of sending her off to daycare quite yet, but she boards with Pet Rush Inn almost every time I'm out of town. Sometimes, like this last time, I'll get her bathed or something else extra.. she always comes back clean and happy! Normally I drop her off with a couple of her favorite toys and food, but this time she has daily meds she needed to take in the morning time. They accommodated amazingly! No complaints or calls (there never are). I added on some buddy time for Nova the last day and they exceeded my expectations! I received a full report card along with multiple pictures/video of their time together. Unfortunately I rarely review, most especially the positive ones (sadly I forget) but this last time really blew me out of water. Thank you guys! I would name specific people, but in all honesty everyone there is amazing. I mean from boarding to the grooming to the buddy time.. I've never had to ask for specific people and Nova has always come back more than happy! You guys are great and for anyone reading.. no question. This is the place to go. Your dog will not only be more than safe, they'll get to socialize, possible bath/trim time, one on ones if requested, man they even have blueberry facials (I've yet to try that one but you get my point haha). This review will I know bother someone, but it's my experience and what I was expecting and what the reality was. We just became dog parents to our sweet Emi and she unfortunately has separation anxiety so for the most part she is always with someone. We had plans to a destination that she was not allowed unless she was a service animal. We had an initial sitter but last minute canceled; so here I was looking for some place to daycare & board her for a day and night. Mind you I had already another facility that we started the process of daycare when needed but they required the canine influenza shot that she has not gotten yet. I will say looking for boarding is extremely stressful only because there are so many choices. We finally settled on Pet Rush Inn because of the convivence of online booking and the availability to take her in the next morning & the vaccines we had already done where acceptable and it stated 24/7 monitoring. Very apprehensive we took her in and not too long thereafter I was indeed able to see her online, since our destination was two hours I was a crazy first time fur mom and watched her, aside from her looking lost, confused and maybe feeling abandoned the few times I saw the attendant there was no interaction with any of the dogs and I saw her on her cellphone several times .I thought maybe I would get an update on Emi per their site that show report cards and photos, also the avalibity to text them and when I did I also received no feedback. I looked at her profile the next morning and I never received anything on her "report card" There are 3 live views you can view, two are the smaller dogs like my Emi indoors and one outside with the larger dogs, i wished she was allowed outside since the dogs where having a great time running around, playing, sunbathing and playing in the pools. Indoors my Emi just sat and waited. We had decided to call and check on her since we had no visual view of her anymore and when we called at 8pm they where closed so I was confused about the 24/7 monitoring. (manger or business owner on site overnight) The next morning I still had no view of her and when we did finally speak to someone they had mentioned it was feeding time and she would be in the "playroom" later that morning. My mother was granted clearance to pick up Emi and when she checked her own they forgot to include the first time boarding discount and we where overcharged. When I emailed to clear it up they had notified they made the adjustment and refund was done. I took the opportunity to ask questions why there was no human interaction or why she couldn't play outside. This was the email responds I received: Small dogs are more sensitive to heat and we have them in the AC area with TV and basic playgrounds. Multiple Small dog owners don't want their pets getting wet as well due to grooming and etc. We try to give them as much fun activities as possible but we also don't play with them besides when we do dog parties due to dogs possibly fighting due to jealousy. This response was totally valid and made complete sense so I was extremely grateful for the response and clarification, I apologized for being a first time crazy dog mom and I was responded with the openness to ask any questions. I completely acknowledge that I am no doubt being a crazy first time mom with all my concerns but our Emi came from a neglected home and we just want to provide her all the love and trust she deserves from us. I also take blame that I just assumed she would be so playful with other dogs when I see how she is at dogs parks and on our walk My review is strictly based off our experience SO FAR and I do indeed intend to send her back for daycare services. They have very reasonable prices and have a sister facility on the next block over on Linden COURT, double dog dare ya . I have done 1/2 days several times and housed my puppy there for a week, then I got a rescue who is quite evasive of other dogs. After 3 /2 day visits the rescue has made a significant difference and I can only thank the staff for there attention. Every staff member I have interacted with have been very nice and very educated on how to handle these dogs. Always greeted warmly and when we pick them up they always give you a rundown as to there behavior. Pet Rush has been a constant in my life throughout the years. I adopted my first dog from them back in 2010, and have taken several pets for grooming back when I lived in the area. Recently, I have taken my 2 dogs here specifically for the non-anesthesia dental cleanings (after a nightmare scenario at the vet with one of my older dogs). The dental technician (I think his name is Jimmy? So sorry I forgot) is FANTASTIC, GENTLE and knowledgeable. He first suggested my dog Lucy get a traditional cleaning with a vet since her teeth are so bad, and after clearing it with our vet, since she has a heart murmur and it is a risk to put her under anesthesia, we returned to Pet Rush to get her teeth cleaned here. The technician was fast and did a great job. My dog was even relaxed when I picked her up, you would never think she just had a dental cleaning (especially in her case with her awful teeth -- it's not a fun experience). I admire this staff for being so transparent about what is best for my dogs, even if it means turning down money for services, and prioritizing the health and safety of animals above all. My other dog's teeth are in better shape and the technician once again did a fantastic job at cleaning, which isn't easy to get into a Yorkie's mouth. I've been bringing my five month old chocolate Lab here for a little over a month, and we love this place! He was a little nervous at first, but he quickly adjusted and now loves going to daycare. The live cameras made me feel comfortable knowing I could check in on him anytime. Now, he runs me out of the car when we pull up and gets so excited to go in. All the employees are so great and loving toward the dogs. They've even accommodated me when I was stuck in traffic and running a little late for pickup one day. My dog loves Pet Rush Inn and I'm so glad that he does. He has separation anxiety and I wouldn't be able to work if I didn't have somewhere safe to take him that I knew he enjoyed going too. As soon as we get out of the car, he's pulling me in the door and up to the first staff member he sees. Most days, I get to see him on the doggy cam live feed, but if he's not in that room, there's almost always an Instagram story with updates from the day. I see him snuggling with the staff and paling around with the other pups at daycare. I just know that when I drop him off for daycare that he's going to have fun and be treated well. Mauricio & Alonso are amazing! My dog (Canelo) is horrible for grooming. I adopted him 10 months ago; previous owners did not take him to the groomers. I attempted 3 other groomers, and they could not do him. Until Pet Rush. Mauricio helped Canelo acclimate by giving him a tour of the grooming area. Alonso takes his time and does an excellent job. I found Pet Rush Inn when I was searching for cat boarding, and it was the single best thing to happen to me. I learned that Pet Rush had a dog daycare with a bunch of lower-energy pups. My new dog, River, had exhibited a ton of anxiety and was terrified of dogs, humans, grass, air, life, etc. The staff recommended bringing her to daycare to expose her to other dogs and start socializing. When she first started, River was terrified of everything and everyone. Now, this is her favorite place in the world. She genuinely gets in the car because she thinks she's going to go see Jo or Riki (or Kevin, even though she pretends she's above him) and then gets upset when we don't end up at Pet Rush. Was shopping around for a go-to groomers for my dog, Kobe and so glad I stumbled upon this one on Yelp! They have 5 stars and now I can see why! I had so many questions because Kobe is my first dog, so I have no experience with groomers yet! Ricky was the one helping me over the phone and I applaud her for being so patient with me! I asked every question imaginable and she was super kind and helpful! We dropped him off a little before 8am the next day and I felt as if I was sending my child off to kindergarten! Kobe is very curious and so he was like "peace out, mom" as they took him to another room! I didn't catch the guy's name at the counter, but he was very helpful as well, letting me know the drill and the final details of the process. Kobe had a great time for his first groomer experience which I was nervous about. They are professionals, so you can totally trust they know how to handle any type of dog, because my Kobe is a squirmy, energetic, strong 70 lbs puppy with fast reflexes! His coat is still so soft and shiny and he still smells like he just got out of the groomers! SIDE NOTE: the owner is Armenian and I didn't realize until after I got there because their colorway theme are the colors of the Armenian flag and they have an Armenian sign outside as well of the Republic of Artsakh flag. This makes me so happy to do business with them after all of the traffic events that are happening right now in Armenia. We should all strive to help our neighbors whenever possible! Was having so many issues with my rescue German Shepherd husky, Luna. The sweetest pet ever except extremely territorial and defensive. Took her over to petrush in where I met gentleman Kevin Cruz who from the get-go I can immediately tell that he knew what he was doing. He introduced himself and welcome us in. Not only did he help Luna get over her issues but also help with some training for myself to help Luna along the way. Extremely patient and both spoken. His staff was amazing all smiles and greetings which immediately let me know it's a great location. He "dominated" Luna and explain to me what I was doing wrong as a first-time pet owner. Amazing experience! We are leaving out of the country tomorrow and our regular groomer got Covid and had to cancel last minute. Called and spoke to Mauricio on the phone. I normally don't use in person grooming because I'm anxious to leave my dog at the facilities after a poor experience elsewhere. There facility was clean and even has live cams for the boarding section. They were very transparent about how they operate with grooming times and her appointment was so efficiently done! This is the third daycare I have tried with my dog and is, by far, the best overall experience I've had. I am never worried when he is there. I know he is safe and cared for (and getting belly rubs!). I trust they will call me when they need to, and they are seriously the only team that has gotten my dog to sit for grooming! The staff is extremely friendly, and Mucca always comes out looking so fancy and handsome after grooming. He goes to their sister facility Double Dog for daycare. That one has a little outdoor pool and more room to run around so works a bit better for him for doggie daycare days. This was our first experience with Pet Rush Inn. We were so happy to find this type of boarding facility in Burbank where we live. They know what it takes to deal with dogs of all personalities and breeds. The facility is very nice and accommodating for the dogs. Our 2 huskies had never boarded anywhere before and they are 4 1/2 yrs old. And, it just so happens that our Son's new wife's family board their dog(s) there too. My wife and I took our Golden here far too many times for daycare when he was a puppy before Covid while we were both in the office and he always came back filthy, scared and traumatized even for a single day. We brushed it off as him just "playing" with other dogs. I wish I could have seen more during his days there but then and now only have one low-res static camera that records during "working hours" and were unable to see him during this recent stay: We unfortunately made the terrible decision to try again with Indy this past weekend for 3 days from June 10th 2022 to June 13th 2022... My wife and I could barely recognize him when I picked him up at 8am Monday and brought him home. He was trembling and fearful of both my wife and myself for the first time in our lives. He's been moaning and crying even now at 5am while I'm keeping an eye on him. He wreaked of urine, feces, dirt and musk. His hair was matted and wet with some or all the above. The food we gave them was barely used. We don't know if he was beaten, allowed to be harassed by other dogs or just left in his cage alone (we couldn't see) but he's absolutely traumatized we'll will never bring him to this horrid place again. They take great care of him, and I feel at ease whenever I have the leave him there for a day or overnight while I'm out of town. Their prices are very reasonable, and the staff are always friendly. They also will send you "report cards" of how your dog did. My favorite thing about this place is that my dog comes home not smelling like urine. I used to take my dog to a facility in Valley Village, and whenever I would pick him up he smelled as if he would be sitting in other dog's urine. It was disgusting!
