This has become our go to place for the dogs when we travel without them. The team here is great and they seem to really care about the animals. Hours work pretty well when we fly out. If you are early for boarding, there is an extra fee, but cheaper than an extra night stay, so worth it. They also have grooming services that have been good. read more

The staff is amazing. They are full of information and super nice. The will work with you in any situation. The facility it self is amazing. Super safe, they have gates everywhere that are double locked also. So it's super safe for the dogs. The facility smells so clean and not like dogs. I wish they had place close to my house. I would like to start off that I once praised this place but then I took my yorkie there and he came back with kennel cough, no big deal, it happens but then fast forward 2 months, I took him for doggy day care and he really did not want to stay, I just felt something was wrong so upon picking him up later that afternoon I walked to the back kennel and saw my boy desperate to leave, long story short we all know our pets very well, this wasn't a "hey happy to see you" it was like a desperate plea to get him out of there, now to be fair before I point out the disgustingly dirty kennel and lack of supervisory, they leave the small dogs mostly unattended, even though my dog was attacked by a bigger frenchie and I had voiced my concerns, Today I had to rush my doggie back to the vet with a serious case of kennel cough to the point he is having trouble breathing. I will not be taking him back, ever. There is so much more to the story as I have talked to other dog parents about kennel cough at this place. Seems like a couple of other reviews mention this. I have taken him to another daycare when I lived near Elmwood Park and I have never had this issue and right away I notice that this other daycare always had someone watching the dogs at all times and their cameras always worked . I have been taking my bulldog for about a month now to daycare and he absolutely loves it! He is so excited once I turn into their driveway to drop him off! They give him the special attention and care that he needs; especially with his allergies. We walk in and they know my bully's name and are so happy to see him!! It is great knowing that while I'm at work my furchild is having fun and being cared for. I love seeing his photo of him playing with other dogs on their Facebook page. I have also been getting him groomed there by Antonio and he is great with his special needs! He always looks handsome and smells great after his bath! read more

The Pet Spa and Resort is a wonderful place to take your dog (or cat or hamster, etc) for the day or while on vacation. The staff are incredible and take great care of the animals and love them as if they were their own. I trust them to take care of my Jake without hesitation. Jake cries with excitement when he knows he's headed there to play with his friends for the day. He gets to be in a play pack and gets great exercise instead of spending his day at home alone while we work. He is exhausted when he gets home. They are sure all animals are up to date with their vaccines. The price is well worth Jake's happiness. He even gets a bath every now and then and gets his nails cut when needed at reasonable prices! We recently used their services for boarding our two dogs while we were away 11 days. My first impression of them was from the phone when I booked our dates. They were extremely helpful in this, as I didn't know my dogs needed specific shots. Each time I called after this (6 weeks prior to our vacation) I found them to be kind, considerate and knowledgeable. I dropped my dogs off Sun, March 8th, and the three gentleman there clearly love animals as much as I do. In fact, my one dog that is shy, warmed up to them instantly ! However, we called from St Thomas two times to check on our dogs and no one called us back. That was odd. Odd because every other time, prior to this that I called, they phoned me back right away. So I called and left a message about my concern since they didn't return the calls and they called me within two minutes. They also asked when and what time we called on those two days to look into this. They even said that was odd. So, my review, regardless of those two calls not being returned, is OUTSTANDING! If you're looking for someone to love and care for your dogs just as you would, then the PetSpa is for you. I boarded my dogs here based on recommendations from other dog owners and I couldn't be happier with the results. Taz and Rex were safe, fed, loved and cared for just as I would. I really wanted to like this place. It has a lot of out door space. I know my dog, and I know that she may not always get along with other dogs, but when I asked they told me she was fine. I continued to ask because I know that she was most likely not fine. The woman at the counter said she was aggressive and only played with one dog, then proceeded to say she was a little "b****" . Like I said I know my dog is not perfect, but she still has cuts from the muzzle they put on her, and neglected to tell me they had done that. read more

A wonderful place for boarding your furry family member. Hershey has boarded here several times and always comes back healthy and exhausted from playing. They have a ton of space that is fenced in for running around and playing and keep a good eye on the dogs. You can bring your own food if your dog has problems adjusting, but ours has always been fine. They even post pictures and videos on Facebook so you can see how everyone is doing. We always trust them with Hershey on a long trip. read more
