Our boy has made significant progress in just 3 visits we have had with Martine. She teaches him what he needs to know and provides videos for me to watch and detailed instructions, and off we go. Between the lessons she gives us and our boy, the instructions, and the videos she recommends and my work with him, I am so much more confident in my interactions with him and so much more capable of helping him. My dog was understandably wet and nervous from the weather, and rather than taking the time to evaluate her properly, the trainer quickly labeled her as "not trainable" and emphasized how "expensive" their program is. She also suggested medicating my dog -- after barely interacting with her. Yes, my dog was nervous in a new place, but that's exactly why we were seeking help. Instead of showing patience or professionalism, the trainer was dismissive and made a snap judgment that couldn't have been more wrong. Honestly, I'm glad her poor attitude and lack of professionalism were apparent early on -- it saved me from wasting more time after driving an hour to get there.
