I recently took a vacation and boarded my dog at Fidos Home Pet Inn & Spa. It was my first time going there, and I usually hate leaving my dog in a new place. When I spoke to Andy on the phone to make arrangements he put me at ease and was very friendly and professional. When I arrived to drop of my dog Andy met us at the door. He told us about his experience with dogs, the treats that he prepares, and the playtime my dog would receive. My dog seemed to like Andy right away. When I picked up my dog, her tail was wagging and she seemed very happy. Andy brought her out and put her in the car for me. My dog never usually comes from a boarding stay in a cheerful mood, but she was cheerful. It must be the friendly staff and the casserole that Andy makes for the dogs. I think his daughter also makes homemade dog treats. I especially love the fact that they gave my dog an exit bath and cut his toenails before I picked her up. The owner is inconsistent, unreliable, bad at communicating and managing time, and is never there despite the hours his store is open. He doesn't keep to the appointments when he is the one who sets the times. He brings his personal life into his business which is unprofessional and inappropriate. I do NOT recommend this place, please save your time by not coming here. read more

Fido's is A+ all around! The owner Andy is so helpful, always responds in a timely manner via text to any questions and very accommodating, even for last minute boarding. We have had our pup there multiple times for boarding and grooming and she always has a wonderful time because Andy and his staff treat her like she is one of their own. When she gets groomed they take care of her ears, nails, do a great de-shedding and she's so soft and fluffy when done. I made an appointment for my dogs to be groomed, they said "ok great next Friday" and went to hang up. I said "Um, what time?" And they said "8:30. ok?" Like they didn't give me any options. Whatever, I said ok. And then a few days later, I decided to cancel. I tried calling them (3 days in advance) to cancel, no one answered and there was no voicemail. So I tried calling the next day, still no answer, and no voicemail. So I kept trying to call, even the morning OF the appointment, and still no answer. So I don't know what happened to this place but answer your phones. They never called me about my "missed" appointment. I haven't heard from them at all. The owner replied to my google review saying they closed for COVID. But they didn't inform me of that so what if I had showed up for the appointment??? I would have shown up to a closed place. read more

My dog was with Fidos for two nights over the long weekend. The day we picked her up, she started to throw up right after she got home, and had diarrhea for two days since then. She didn't even want to eat her food. I'm not sure if they gave her something else besides her own food... She got sick right after we got home. Definitely would never go back again! read more

I went to Yelp in search of a place close and reasonably priced and found this place. Let me start off by saying Andy (the owner, I assume) and this place in general are an awesome place to board your dogs! We have dropped off our dog, Charlie, here twice over the last 6 months or so and have been pleased with the level of service. Our dog seems to be happy when he gets back, compared to other places where he seems down and whining for a while after we pick him up. Rates are reasonable and we have the added convenience of it being right outside the neighborhood. Also, as an added bonus, Andy gave our dog a bath and trimmed his toenails prior to us picking him up! You can tell he enjoys his work and cares for our pets while we are gone. I stopped by this place to request info about grooming. The owner suggested an appointment at 9:00 and offered to receive my dog at 6:30 so I could drop it on my way to work. Well...I got up extra early to get my dog ready and drove to the place. When I got there, nobody was in the place. I waited until 6:50 while trying to reach the owner. I decided to go back home to drop my dog back in the house knowing I was already making late to work... . I finally got in touch with him, he answered the phone. "Hello..." The guy was deep in sleep!!!! He had no idea what was going on... After I explained what he just caused, he said he was stuck in traffic... Which was obviously not true. After he made up a non sense story he offered a free grooming. I requested several appointments, not granted. Once he said he had an appointment cancelled and said I could bring my dog over. It was a very short notice and I could not make it. After that, he has basically been ignoring my communication. You could think he would make time to groom my dog a priority to make up for a horrible customer experience, but no. I found it very unprofessional and irresponsible. read more

His passion for dogs pours out of his skin and truly cares about the babies that are in his facility. He takes care of them like they are his own. I took my baby Ellie to get groomed here today and she looks so adorable! I was very nervous leaving her with someone because she has never been left with anyone besides myself. However, the staff at Fido's were very caring, kind, and compassionate about everything. The grooming only took an hour and a half, and most places take triple that time! This place is the absolute best! I needed a place to take my dog for a walk-in nail trim in between grooming, and when I called Andy was so nice and helpful on the phone. I brought my pup at the time he recommended, and the groomer brought him back right away, and my pup was done in under 5 min! This is a great place for dogs! We have just boarded our sweet guy here and Andy is very passionate about making sure all of his doggie boarders are well taken care of. In fact, I requested grooming before we picked him up and they use natural products. I appreciated that he didn't smell of strong, artifical fragrance, but was totally clean nonetheless. After reading a horrible review and seeing a picture of a dog that was allegedly cut horribly by my usual groomer, I didn't have the heart to take my dog back to her, so I researched I found "Fido's Home". The place is very clean and Randy, the owner is very professional and also friendly and charismatic. He gave me a tour of the place and gave me a brief history of the business. The groomer which is a very friendly young lady (sorry I forgot her name) is a STAR!, true-pro and loves animals. My Zoey loved her and was giving her lots of kisses. She made her look so cute and follow my exact instructions. I recommend you make an appointment prior because I took her the same day I called, a Saturday and had to wait all day to get her back. It was my fault because I called last minute. Next time, I will give them more ahead time and suggest you do the same. This place is great! read more

We have been taking our dog to Fido's for quite some time now. We have been very happy and impressed with the price and service we receive. Piper LOVES going to daycare and is always so excited to go inside. I also enjoy picking up an exhausted pup after a long day at work. There have been several times that I have left work late and Andy has always stayed late to make sure I pick up Piper. She had never been socialized before taking her to daycare since we live in an apartment complex so I was worried about how she would do, and we always get positive feedback. You can tell Andy takes caring for our fur babies seriously! From the time I spoke to him on the phone to meeting him in person, he answered every question, explained the day/night schedule making this experience more comfortable. I bought a Living Social deal to get my dog groomed. As soon as I got there, Andy was very welcoming and gave me a tour around the place. He explained to me the different shampoos and which one I wanted to use on my dog. You can really tell he's passionate about dogs as he told me he's got 9 of them! Picked up my dog within 2 hours, and he was fluffy as a cotton ball. It's been a week now and he still looks and smells better than he usually does when I bathe him at home.
